Conditions were great in some areas but most had just enough snow to hide a horn. After 4 hours of searching I was very happy to spot this one at 25 yards.

awesome find. the pair wont be far away.

Still lots of snow here. in a couple weeks Im going to drag swamp buck here for a lookin..... there are a couple bucks we didnt connect on. Finding the hunters gold (thats what I call it) is only a piece to next yera puzzle.
Last year I found 4 and this year Im expecting better.

That was the best of the four we picked up, like James said it wasn't the best conditions,lots of water,lots of snow,but 4 horns isn't anything to complain about.

Very nice. And white!!!

I think the only shed I'm likely to find this year is the one in my backyard. Which needs some attention.

Great find!!! Still a lot of snow in the bushes around here, might need another week of these higher temps to have any luck.
