I have been collecting sheds for about 10 years and seem to find 5 or 6 every year. I have collected 42 sheds over the years all whitetail deer. 5 of these sheds have scored at least 57 inches each, with my personal best being a match set of 65 inchers.

Just curious as to how big some collections are, I know we have some members here that do really well.

If it's got fur, feathers or scales it's in trouble

I also have over a hundred wild sheds consisting of whitetail, elk, mule deer, moose, and caribou. I also have over a hundred sheds from my farmed whitetail and elk. Some day I will have to take some pics and post some of the ways I display them.

I've got around a dozen but I never really looked until last spring out with Shedherder. Usually I find them while scouting for turkeys. I've got one so far this year and the warden got another one that I would have found if she hadn't.

Been shed hunting for 3 years. Got 2 match sets and one single. Had one antler I found when I was about 10 years old. It had 7" bases and around 24" main beams (6 pointer too), although I didn't realize at the time how big it was, I gave it to our hounds, now its about 8" long :(

I have only been at it for a few also, so I do not have a huge collection, but one thing I noticed last night as I was going through the house looking at it is that I have found almost just as many racked skulls as I have sheds. Thought that was interesting. I always like finding 2 antlers on a skull rather than just one shed!

There nice to find if its not your hunting property, but it sure hurts when its one of the bucks that you are hunting. Acouple of years ago shedherder, deermagnet, and I picked over 150 sheds, that was great, but what was really crazy was that we also found 20+ racked bucks dead. Thats alot of dead bucks for three shedheads to find.

I've been collecting sheds for 5 years now. I have just under 70 sheds in total and 3 skulls. In my collection I have 11 matched sets and my biggest single measures 95 inches, the biggest crime I couldn't find the match, at least I don't think so. I say that because 1 yr later I found a shed about 50 yds from where I found the big one and while the overall size looks llike it would match, the base isn't quite as large.

spww 95 inch that is incredible, Congratulations !! I would trade my last 50 finds for a piece of that caliber. Any chance of a photo ??
