Well got out yesterday with the shedheads to stretch the legs, this last snowfall has really put a damper on shedhunting. Managed to find one nice 5 point, walked past it a month ago in kneedeep snow. We pinch some deer into a tight spot and I managed to take these pics, check out the fallow buck running with about 30 whitetails. If we had it our way he would be on the Q tonight. The shed is dead centre in the first pic.

The whitetail was a nice main frame 9 with a split brow, these deer are urban deer,as for the fallow buck I know we could shoot him but, it's in a no hunting area.Maybe we will get back for his sheds.I had him at 10 yards.

To bad you can't shoot the fallow to get him out of there but it would be cool to find his headgear. Where did he come from? Any deer farms in your area??? Oh and nice find by the way!!

This isn't the first fallow deer for the area, they swim over from an American island on the Detroit River

the fallow deer on the 5th are gone. They destroyed thesmall wood lot.

Rover

I thought.... the fallow deer are not indigenous to this area... so they have no particular season... therefor they are open season all year long... might want to check into that!!!! nice shed BTW... I wish I could find them in the snow like that!!!
