This was a cross fox I shot at our moose camp about 45 min north of North Bay, he ws sneeking along a beaver damn when I spotted him and let the .308 ring at about 125yds.

This was my first coyote. I shot her at about 25yds, she was holding up in the ditch behind me.

This was definitely one of the most exciting hunts I've been on, we saw 9 fox and 2 coyotes the entire day and this was the end result.

These are just a few more pics i thought I would share. Enjoy!

That's a very impressive pile of game. I believe the fox in the top picture is referred to as a silver fox. I have seen them on a couple occasions, very cool. Keep up the good work and thank you very much for taking the time to post them hunts. hotsmile

i thought it was a silver fox also but when i took it into the taxidermist he said that because of the orange fur as well as the silver it is a cross fox(mix between red and silver fox) well i wasnt sold on the idea lol so i did some research myself and it is called a cross fox but not because of the colours. it got its name from the distinct "cross" of black fur going down its back and across at the shoulder blades.
just a bit of fun info
