Well now that duck season is over I started to chase the yotes with the boys. They already have three on the drying boards and a fox. We added another one yesterday, we had three dry runs before we kicked up two, one was not so lucky and the other one was as it was just before we were done for the day. I also thought I found my first shed of the year but it ends up this guy shed more than just his antlers. I wish I had taken a pic before I disturbed it as there was only a couple of inches sticking up before I dug it up.

I'll just keep adding to this thread as we get more instead of starting new ones.

No dogs through the week but I hunt with a different group on Saturdays that have two good running dogs. Had another couple on the run today but they are still running :(

Ok well after a week and a few days off due to a nasty lung infection it was time to do some more chasing. While I was laid up the guys had some good hunts. My weekday crew got out twice shooting 2 yotes the first day and a fox the second, with two more yotes spotted. My Saturday crew had a great hunt and put 3 yotes down and had another one on the run as well. Tuesday I got back at it and it took a bit but right at the end of the first run we kicked one up, he got into the next block. We got on the tracks and had him on the go but he made the mistake of heading down a pine line right into one of our blockers and he nailed him, a real blondy. We tried a few more pushes but couldn't get another one going. Sorry for the bad pic but I had to leave to go to work yesterday and took a picture of him this morning in the shop.

This morning was a great morning for chasing yotes and we had some tracks first thing so I went in on em. Not long in and we had two on the run, not sure were the second one got to but the one we got nearly killed me as it circled around us for almost three hours with me on her the whole time, revenge was mine though as I put a good one in her, she did manage to keep going but very slowly and leaving a solid blood trail, she ran right into another guy who ended the chase.
First pic is of me falling on my ass, lets just say my legs were burning ::)

I will get some pictures of the furs from my week off, I was going to today but some were still inside out on the stretchers.
