Thought I'd share this link. I especially thought the crossbow maintenance and other tips was quite informative.

All my strings have been tied by Boo as well. His service is great.

have a flemished boo on mine right now that i was using for hunting. Switch back to faster sting for monkeying around. He does great job with flemish, have not tried his other stuff. certainly knows what he's doing when it comes to xbows!

I have three excal flemish strings shot in and two I will be reserving myself.
I bought the necessary hardware and parts for a serving jig according to Boo.

Later I hope to make my owns strings. Nothing fancy just good strings for performance.
I now shoot a 200 lb. exo-mag and find it harder on servings than my old 175 lb. exocet was by quite a bit.

I took apart the trigger mechanism and honed and polished till I was satisfied with trigger pull and found less damage being done to the serving in the process.

BOO has a very helpful website!! tty tty

I am very lucky to have Boo as a friend.
He has done a rework on my trigger and gave me some of his famous strings.

All I can say is that my bow has never shot this good before. thmup

Please check out his site and purchase some of his strings, you will be glad you did.

Just check out the "Harvest" section on the site to see some very happy faces.

Ken.
