Well l just spent two days up at Dennis Carew's farm hunting bear,He invited me up,to try for bear, there was a lot of signs, bear tracks and dropping but no bear,Dennis even put out some bait for me and no takers,l saw deer and turkey and lots of them, but no bear.Hey that hunting sometimes it happens and sometimes it don't but l'm not done yet. I'd like to thank you Dennis for the use of your farm and for all the time spent taking me around to all your hot spots, that was very nice of you, l've got to say you've got a little piece of heaven there, you've got bear, deer, turkey and geese you can't ask for more. ty

Neighbor saw a decent sized one in the corn field this morning. Went up to see him while he was chopping that corn. Bear went right down into the bush where you had been. A big area in the center of the field was flattened and it didnt look like he was living there.

thats the way it goes. Bear has been tough this season for most. Lots of them but so much natural food for them.

Med is right. Bear has been very different this season and they don't seem to do what we think. I have had a client for two days on baits that are being hit but not when he is there. He did text me and said he seen a bull moose today. I have not been hunting waiting out his outcome.

The hunt is what you make of it and success don't mean that is the only way for a good hunt. Maybe next time it will happen...
