I was at the KOW contest today and for the 3D course the guys were all shooting the new Horton Vision. I had not seen this xbow before and it was real funky looking frontal string technology where everything looks reversed as compared to the "normal" looking ones. The bow is only 19" wide and weighs 8lbs.
It has a speed rating of 325fps.
I couldn't believe how quiet the bow was. I watched guys on the practise range and listened to the positive comments about it.
I did manage to fling a few bolts throught it and was absolutely amazed at how quiet and shock free it was. The was litterally no jump in it, i loved it.
Make sure you check this xbow out if your looking to upgrade or get into a package, its worth looking at.

The reverse technology will take some getting used to, but I'd sure love to get my hands on one to try it out.

there are a few bows like that on the market now and they are freaky looking but they are fast.l shot the
Scorpyd and it's fast and smooth,
If it's got fur, feathers or scales it's in trouble

Need to try this bow, getting through the woods quieter due to the reduced width could be the biggest advantage in my opinion.

Sure would take some time to get use to. Especially having the limbs unload back towards your face.

Hey guys !!! go to the just Us hunting web site!!!! hellooo???????????
Both myself and Bruce Raine shot to nice bull using the Vision.
A wicked crossbow.. Quiet for sure but the recoil. is amazing give it a try.. Try carring it through the bush.
You take a hacksaw to your Excal in a minute.. ( just kidding)
But honestly give it a try you will be simply amazed. And watch the just us hunting vids..

I just bought a Vision last week and have shot it 3 differtent times. I thought about buying a Mathews Z9 but I do not have aoot of time to practice. After shooting this crossbow I must say I am totally hooked! I have owned 4 or 5 different crossbows but nothing holds a candle to the Vision. Quiet, fast and almost zero recoil. Im punching a three inch group at 52 yards with this gem. Cant wait to let an arrow fly, hopefully at a bull moose in a couple of weeks.

P.S I also purchased the Luminock arrows with it, they are great too! moose1
