Anyone hunting turkeys with their crossbows?

No I have too much going on this time of year and have not taken the course. I did whack a turkey several years ago with the compound on video but it was a released bird.

No I have too much going on this time of year and have not taken the course. I did whack a turkey several years ago with the compound on video but it was a released bird.
They are kinda scary looking! lassser

i had the xbow in the truck a few times. Was out with the compound in the blind. When nothing was happening i went to another woods and did some run and xbowing. I had a shot oppertunity at a jake but i passed. Carried it one other time in the blind but no shot presented itself.

I was out with a friend a couple of years ago and 5 or 6 came close enough for a shot.He shot first and killed a jake.The birds backed off quickly for about a min and then proceeded to come to our decoys again and I shot and missed,just over him!
That was that!
I will try maybe this fall while I am deer hunting and if the chance presents itself well.......you know
If I aint out a shootin deer,Im home drinkin beer!
