I'm just here to RP

Motto stood by the water with vacant eyes and fragile mind. His shoulder was damaged beyond repair and it hurt. His heart hurt too. Dorn’s words were hard, but he couldn’t let go. He wouldn’t let go. But he was less now..not just his energy, but his strength and speed. His aura. He was weak and unfit to be her man. To be a leader. A Hunter. Even himself.

It had come on slowly, this feeling of deep shame. Motto went to a little trouble and hid himself where no one would find him and here he stood. By the water. And then there was Another. Sensing that he was not alone, Motto turned to see a man also by the water. He could feel the Other’s radiance and everything around them in a deeper way. The birds, the trees, the water, himself..were all one and connected.

“Hello Motto.”

The Hunter said nothing and merely stood there in awe. It didn’t occur to Motto to wonder why this person had come or how. He simply marveled.

“Do you know who I am?”

Motto shook his head, still taken by the tranquil brilliance he sensed.

“I am God.”

The Hunter started.

With the same warm and gentle manner, God continued, “I am the Maker of all things.” Motto continued to stare as God walked to him. “I made you, Motto.”

Motto’s mouth opened to respond but he was lost for words. He messed up what God made him as. He failed. Too many mistakes. Not good for anyone. Motto’s thoughts stopped when the Other’s hand touched his face.

“I love you.” God said, His eyes holding Motto’s with sincere affection. “You are perfect to Me.”

Astonishment and joy came first. Then gratitude. Motto didn’t know what to say, but it didn’t matter. He was deeply happy and super hyped to be with God. The Other pulled him close into a hug and held Motto for long time. “I will see you again.” Those words were nearly too much for the Hunter to bear.

Motto blinked his eyes and everything was back to the way it was before. The birds and trees and water. Himself. They were all still present but it was harder to sense, and Motto no longer felt the pure connection with them as he did before. He didn’t mind. God had come and told him that He loved him.
