Chance Town - Seoulja Time - 11:50 A.M. Climate: Dark clouds, very gloomy, not yet raining Wish stepped off the bus gracefully, with pristine and flawless fervor, daintily rooting herself to the rich soil before looking around to see just exactly where the Association had sent her. Her face remained rigid as she gazed upon the barren city and it's piteous living conditions, this place certainly wasn't much, it had taken her only a second to deduce that, yet, as her eyes wandered between the decrepit buildings and fading graffiti art, she could only think of home. A sudden screech pulled her back into reality, driving a sharp yelp of surprise out of the young Hunter, who in turn spun around to see the chuckling bus driver begin to circle around and drive back down the same road they had taken. She watched as the heavy vehicle faded into the horizon, staring longingly at the empty view until the cold breeze nipped at her nose and reminded her of the mission at hand. Wish turned back, once again, to look at Chance Town, in all it's weary melancholy, then fished out the letter that the Hunter's Association had sent her, just to make sure that she had the right location. Unfortunately, she did. She sighed and stuffed the letter into her back pocket before beginning the walk from the outskirts into the heart of this run-down city. As she solemnly marched to the eerie monstrosity in front of her, she felt strange, cold, even...exposed. Stopping to look around and find the owner of the eyes currently watching her proved fruitless, so, begrudgingly, she continued her trek. Yet, as she continued to move forwards, a shiver ran down her spine, something ominous and powerful was monitoring her. The long grass swayed in the wind as Wish moved closer and closer to her dilapidated destination. =---= OOC: (Images of my interpretation on Chance Town and it's outskirts, where Wish is currently moving through.) ![]() Building #3099 Swallowing, Motto looked at the letter and back up at the building. Sure enough, he’d reached the right place. Hendrick Ave turned out to be a dirt road that went way out of town into nowhere land. They didn’t explain the purpose of his presence, but it sounded like a survey or somethin’. Maybe it was all a ruse and this was just a really cool mission with high security measures. Either way, he didn’t want to screw up and put his team in jeopardy. Sliding the letter back into his jacket pocket, Motto walked up the steps and entered through the green door. The smell of citrus greeted his nose as Motto crossed the room to a small desk. It was the only piece of furniture in the room, and the girl sitting behind it was super pretty. Motto grinned as she looked up to acknowledge him and faltered when she went back to her typining without a word. No chairs to sit. No magazines. “Ah, Mr. Brook!” A handsome man in a suit strode out from the only other door in the empty room with his hand extended. He was smiling and his voice was nice. Motto relaxed instantly and shook his hand. “Good to see you. Right on time. Excellent. Excellent. Alright, shall we?” Angling his body towards the door, the kind stranger lifted his brows and waited. ![]() “Yeah. Ok.” Motto wasn’t sure exactly what they were shalling, but he was ready. “The Association is looking to improve..” The man was cheerful as they walked down a dark hall. One of the florescent lights was flickering at the halfway point. “..you’re input is crucial Motto. We’re going to be asking you some questions today, getting to the nitty gritty. Of course, you needn’t do anything but be yourself. Think of this as a friendly chat.” They had come to a stop near a small room. Motto could see a chair inside. It had shackles and a very bright light fixture was suspended above. |
