If I Like It I Do It![]() OOC A fresh autumn breeze swept through the stony streets of Chance Town, filling the air with fragrant aroma of the nearby Endless Forest. As though hewn from a mountain of rock and sandstone, the newly burgeoning town was well known for its interesting albeit somewhat neglected architecture. There was something beautiful about the harshly carved streets, that almost appeared as though they were explicitly designed to confuse anyone who wasn't familiar with their erratic delineation. Tonight, as was usually the case on a warm weekend night, they were abuzz with a swarm of activity... Aiza strode briskly along the town's high street, taking in his new surroundings. Dragged there by his friend, the recently retired floormaster Jarvis Moon, the pair were headed to one of the town's most prestigious establishments. The Kitty Cat casino. Rebranded by one of the many moguls who set their eyes on such a ripe investment opportunity, it had become quite the centerpiece for the growing town; it brought in flocks of tourists, who had noticeably filled the town's coffers with their hard earned cash. Though he'd passed through Chance Town before during a few past hunts, he often lamented working around the generally worn and dilapidated buildings - that, despite being chiseled from stone, often appeared to be on the verge of collapse. However, he was pleasantly surprised to find that the old town had recently undergone a drastic renovation; the difference was stark. The once cracked stone walls were now filled, strengthened, and sanded smooth, as were the freshly cobbled streets. And, reinvigorated by the hand of commerce, a slew of new establishments now bathed the streets in a rainbow of colour. In keeping with the opulence of their intended destination, the pair were clad head-to-toe in their finest attire. Jarvis wore a suit coloured the darkest shade of midnight blue, that was perhaps more befitting a naval officer from a future age. As was the norm for the eccentric dresser, he wore this in addition to his "Cosmos" Tech-Head. Aiza on the other hand, who might appear similarly inclined to the avant garde as far as an uninformed onlooker is concerned, sported more princely attire; an elegant silken jacket that fell far past his waist, not unlike a Jodhpuri, that was stained a deep maroon and embellished with golden embroidery. Finding themselves standing out even amongst the sea of glitterati surrounding them, one could hardly deny that they were dressed the part... "Listen baby! Trust me! I'm tellin' you man! You ain't seen nothing like this place back on the islands, swear on all the gods!" Jarvis exclaimed jovially. "Pfft. I doubt anything could live up to the hype you throw at it." Aiza chuckled, heavily patting his friend on the back. "Oh come ooon princey-boy, don't be a spoilsport! You know it's gonna be funky baby! It's classy as hell! See, look at those guys, they're enjoying themselves!" Jarvis practically bounced around Aiza with enthusiasm, gesturing eagerly towards the groups of drunken casino patrons, who had evidently begun their night early, that stumbled giddily towards their taxi's. "Mr Moon!" A man, clearly inebriated, and just barely supported by the shoulder of his drinking companion, slurred in the pairs direction. "Why yo-... when? That's him! You gotta come back m-moonman!" Aiza, who was used to maintaining a slightly lower profile, smirked and nudged Jarvis with his elbow. "Ooh, looks like you've been recognized." Pulling off his helmet and resting it under his arm, Jarvis beamed in his fan's direction. And, pairing a jovial wink with an acknowledging point, he called back in return. "That's right! You got me baby! I'll be back soon, don't you worry about it!" Turning away as the man was hurried into the back of a cab, Jarvis' wide smile momentarily drooped into a vacant stare. Aiza furrowed his brow, unsure whether his companion was entirely alright, but chose not to act on his speculation. "That's got to get tiring. I'm pretty thankful I can avoid it when I'm away from the islands." "Nah! What're ya talking about? Fans are great. Most of 'em anyway." "If you say so." Aiza shrugged, with a skeptical chortle. Continuing to banter with one another as they approached their destination, they stopped once they'd reached the Casino's front parking lot. "So does it meet the royal standard, majesty?" Jarvis laughed, as Aiza marveled the casino's outer furnishings. Blending seamlessly into the town's stone-based construction, it followed a styling similar to Romun architecture. It was flanked on all sides by a row of pillars and statues, that were decorated with the "Cat" motif in mind. Being the most popular element of the Chance Town nightlife, amongst its wealthier denizens and visitors, the queue stretched a fair way back. "Ah... here we are." Jarvis outstretched his arms and leaned back, inhaling deeply for dramatic effect as they stood before the casino's monolithic entrance. "Let's jam." He strode ahead of Aiza and threw an exaggerated hand towards the bouncer, who practically lifted Jarvis off of the ground as they shook hands. Turning to Aiza with a beckoning hand, the Bouncer ushered the pair through a separate VIP door. Allowing them to circumvent the line and head straight inside. The Kitty Cat's interior was just as one would expect. Extravagant. In fact, it perhaps even surpassed the grandiosity of the outside. Even beyond the luxurious furnishings that adorned every reachable inch of the main floor, the atmosphere of the casino screamed excess. And an oddly satisfying cacophony of rattles, rolls, cheers, and groans, permeated the air. So far, Jarvis' prior descriptions of the place didn't appear to be far off the mark... It was the searchlight that got Motto’s attention. He’d been admiring the newly erected public fountains when a flash of light in the night sky made him look up. His first thought was: must be trouble of some kind. An emergency. Lifting his chin, Motto sniffed the air in vain; his nose still messed up from the cologne incident. It was an embarrassing and expensive afternoon at the men’s fashion shop in Chance Town’s newer district. Never again would he attempt to select a manly fragrance for himself..four showers and the citris smell was still in his nose. But the lights spoke for themselves. Two beams of white swept the city sky in a lazy rhythm, their point of origin never moving. Anyone could see that something big was happening .. somewhere. Rising from the park bench, Motto Brook tugged at his jacket and started towards the source. Soon enough the sounds of heavier traffic could be heard as well as what seemed like a lively buzz of chatter. Turning down several streets, the young man suddenly found himself gazing at the spectacle. A large and fancy-looking building stood at the end of what looked like a short private drive dotted with feline sculptures. A large crowd was mingling all around. Their elegant attire was easy to see in the bright lights and smoke from what he guessed to be cigars and vapey things gave the Kitty Cat it’s own cool haze. The Kitty Cat. A casino maybe? As he got closer, Motto noticed a line near the large main entrance. Lots of dudes in suits and beautiful women. The atmosphere was exciting and Motto wanted to see more. He couldn’t help but feel curious about what it was like inside and decided to see for himself. They probably had a bar in there. He’d just go there and whatever. Hang out. Until he felt like leaving. More often than not, Motto spent his time this way when in the cities..numbing his senses while still craving social interactions. Otherwise he’d get overwhelmed real fast. The Kitty Cat probably had a cool bar. Hands in his pockets, the spiky-haired young man in carpenter’s pants and work boots ambled up to the man at the velvet rope. The one who seemed to be in charge of letting people in. There were several guys actually, but this one seemed like the boss. “Hi..” Motto grinned, feeling around for his license. Then he remembered. It was gone. The raven froze. ![]() “Hi.” The bouncer replied with smooth authority. ‘This guy better be a major special guest daring to approach dressed like that.’ The head bouncer thought in annoyance. “Well. I’ll be going now..” Motto’s hands stuffed themselves back into his jacket. “..To get in line.. Because that’s what we’re supposed to do.” Backing away as casually as possible, Motto could feel several pairs of eyes on him from the entrance as well as a strategically placed security officer up high. If the head bouncer wasn’t in the middle of dealing with a trio of gorgeous models, he would have sneered openly. Edited by Gon.Pro.Hunter, Sep 26 2017, 09:15 PM.

Kitty Cat, the recent hype at Chance Town to both the locals and tourists alike. According to what Lynnea had heard from the people who were more familiar with the rugged town, sights like exclusively-crafted pillars, decorations carved from precious stones and refined statues strategically placed around town used to be a dream for the residents to feast on before Kitty Cat was opened. Now, such a grand scenery wasn't the only thing they were happily feasting on. Exotic restaurants, hobby shops, souvenir stands, themed hotels, and even the men and women were some of the many new additions to this list. Peaceful evenings were replaced by glamorous midnights as businesses boomed to keep up with the amount of money in the visitors' wallets. A sleepy town was finally awakened by the magic of the casino. Truly, this was a prime example of a town revived by cold, hard cash. And Lynnea wanted a part in this particular merriment. It was most unfortunate that she wasn't qualified to be one of the many guests the casino would welcome into the establishment despite the fact that she had faithfully and lawfully waited in the queue. The strawberry blonde girl, now clad in a white knee-length dress with a much simpler cut than her usual clothes and a pair of matching heels, had previously thought that dressing herself up in an outfit that made her look a few years older could compensate for her lack of appropriate IDs. However, instead of slipping through the security at the entrance when it was her turn to enter the casino like she expected, she was quite literally thrown out of the line after trying to stubbornly allow herself in when she failed to show a legal proof that she was above or at least was the minimum age requirement for entry. Still, giving up would be the most inconvenient thing to do at this point. Lynnea hadn't traveled all this way just to pack her bags and go home. Just as she was running out of options, she bumped into a comrade by the name of Drake. Meeting him was a blessing; it didn't take them too long to brainstorm and finalize the props they would need to overcome the challenge. The basic idea was to disguise themselves as a convincing adult who wouldn't need to even show an ID to enter the casino. They would need to get something to cover Lynnea's face, though, since it would be vital to the mission. Secondly, skipping the queue was also something they considered doing to save a lot of precious time. Since Drake offered, the duo decided to let him shoulder the responsibility of procuring the props. In return, Lynnea would scout for some targets who possessed the much-needed VIP card for this plan to succeed and decide on who would be the best person to... 'Borrow' one from. Eventually, she found a drunk, frog-faced man harassing a group of young ladies in the queue who kept announcing that he had a VIP card on him every time they refused to accompany him. He seemed desperate enough that he took it out occasionally before putting it back into his trousers' pocket, trying to convince them to no avail. Who knew this would turn out to be so simple. When Drake arrived, she would immediately inform him of this and let him perform his miracles. The way to the casino was wide open for them right now. |

Gambling, women, intrigue, mystery. Words of this manner were the only thing running through Drake's head as he walked down the streets of Chance Town. He had heard about the Kitty Cat, some booming Casino that use to be a gentlemen's club. Drake had never been to either, but the idea of entering one was more tantalizing then he could handle! He just had to get in! Sadly, as someone with little experience when it came to these sort of establishments, Drake had forgotten something important. He wasn't old enough to enter... But this wasn't his only problem, the young man had tried to enter wearing his casual clothes, weapons still on him. Needless to say, this wasn't the best idea. After being denied access Drake had assumed it was simply his clothes! But, one quick "change" of clothes later, and by change I mean he got rid of his weapons and "borrowed" a fancy hat, he STILL was denied access. At this moment Drake had taken this as a personal challenge, he HAD to get in! So, he decided to do what any member of his family would do in this situation, and proceeded to shout out to anyone nearby that "MARK MY WORDS! DRAKE BRANDO WILL GET INTO YOUR CASINO!" before he ran off. Sadly, announcing your intent to sneak in does little to help you actually get in, and more just gets your face put on a list of people to kick out on sight. But Drake didn't care! He wouldn't let stupid casino security stop him. One more change of clothes and Drake had on what he considered humanity's most evil invention, a fancy suit. Sadly, thanks to his little stunt he was immediately spotted and denied access. It was after this third failed attempt Drake ran into Lynnea, another person denied access! Drake smiled as their plan was formed, excited to finally get in. He immediately ran off to get what they needed. After a bit of searching Drake decided on the best option. A trench coat and a rather large hat. With the trench coat Drake could hide under and the hat could help cover her face if tilted forward. Drake quickly got to work on procuring the items, and after a bit of work managed to slip them out of a clothes store undetected. Once that was done Drake quickly found a bag to hold the trench coat and hat in before heading back towards where Lynnea was. After arriving he would show her the coat and bag "So, how'd things go on your end? Find anyone out here with a vip card?" |

dinner dress~ Stella stood patiently in the line, she's wearing a short white dinner dress, matching color heels and carrying a dark blue handbag. The grand re-opening of the Kitty Cat Casino was the new talk of the town, even within the hunter's circle. Now with the new promotional event from the owner of the establishment, promoting the casino even further, it was like everyone was trying to jump on the hype train and Stella was looking forward to seeing what the hype was all about too. She's usually very against gambling, since her luck at this kind of things was questionable at best, but she didn't want to be left behind either! If she didn't get in with the event, she will be left out of the water fountain/break room conversation! Someone was bound to bring the topic up, I just know it...>-> But the line was sure long, and she briefly regretted not nagging to accompany someone with a VIP card, it would have saved her a lot of trouble, not to mention that these heels were really killing her feet. Looking around in boredom while she waited in line, she noticed a suspicious tall figure in a very large hat, who was wriggling around and bending in strange places in their middle section. Stella raised an eyebrow at that and didn't question it any further, might have been a magical beast in large clothing for all she knew, there are stranger things in this world. While her attention was caught by the suspicious tall figure, she missed the sight of one of the more notorious floor master getting into the casino, and Motto getting into trouble with the bouncer ahead. When her gaze turned back to the line in front of her, she noticed the person at the front has already gone in and it was her turn to go into the casino now. She showed her hunter's license to the bouncer, which stated her date of birth. The bouncer quickly checked the date and nodded for her to go in. With a smile, Stella puts her license back into her purse and went inside. The interior of the place was very extravagated and she looked around excitedly at all the people around her. She looked at the new machines and the gambling tables, and it was a hard choice, but she eventually went toward one of the gambling tables. |

Jarvis leaned against the bar, tapping his feet to the beat of the band's smooth jazz tune, as he and Aiza awaited the arrival of their exorbitantly priced drinks. The pair each cast a scrutinous eye across the casino floor, intent on finding a game that was worth their wager. "...preferably something skill-based." "Skill-based?! It's a casino, baby!" Jarvis cackled, as he retrieved their drinks from the bar counter. "The luck is the best part!" "A game where I can manage the luck then." Aiza outstretched his hand and pointed towards a round table, that sat atop an elevated section of the room - that was seemingly specifically devoted to dice games. "What about that? Looks to me like Liar's Dice." "Ooh, a bluffin' game?" A surge of excitement prompted Jarvis' face to light up. "You're a pretty cold blooded cat, bounty-killer. I bet you got a real poker face on ya." Jarvis suddenly looked to Aiza with an electric glimmer in his eye. "Looks like fun." "It is. We didn't play it often back home. It used to get pretty... heated." Aiza flashed a wry smirk, implying at least fair degree of experience with the game. Jarvis' mouth widened into toothy grin. "Ha! Perfect! Well then sir, Liar's Dice it shall be!" Jarvis decreed with an exaggerated formality, before leading a confident march towards the table. A kindly looking young woman, who appeared to be the game's adjudicator, smiled invitingly as the pair approached her table. As it was still somewhat early, it appeared that Aiza and Jarvis would be among the first to play. "Good evening sirs." "Evening." Aiza grinned, before immediately taking a seat, setting his glass down, and analyzing the current setup. The table was surrounded by 6 plush chairs, with a mahogany cup sat faceup in front of each of them. Inside were five 6-sided dice, that varied in colour between the respective cups; though the golden pips on their faces were the same across each. Meanwhile, Jarvis strode straight up to the woman and took her hand in his. "...and a wondrous evening to you!" With a wink and a smile, he made a sharp turn and sat opposite to Aiza. Taking one of the dice-cups in hand, he eyed the deep red cubes within and suddenly swapped his cup with Aiza's. "These are more your colour." Having seemingly sensed an opportunity to speak up again, the woman began to organize the pair's chips in the hopes of drawing their attention. "Would you like to begin? Or would you prefer that we wait for more players?" "Just us? No, no, no. Let's make this a party baby!" Shrugging in concession to Jarvis' will, Aiza slouched back into his seat and took a sip of his drink. "Works for me." Edited by Flash, Oct 9 2017, 07:24 AM.

Waiting in line, Motto rocked back and forth on his heels while taking in the spectacle and grandeur. Everyone looked fancy, smelled fancy…this casino seemed to be the cool place for elite types. He was excited. Maybe he’d see Mr. Soth in there or somethin’! He seemed like a fancy kind of guy. Motto sometimes enjoyed being among people and tonight held a special energy. Turning to the tall person behind him in line, Motto confided, “I’m glad I don’t really care about money or I’d be in real trouble at a place like this!” Laughing, he took out his wallet and peered at it’s contents. As usual, it was stuffed beyond capacity with bills; many falling to the ground without his notice. It seemed like enough. At least to gain entrance and buy a beer. A place like this probably had real expensive beers. “I don’t know much about gambling and cards but it looks fun. So I can just look around and play without having to worry about losing!” With a knowing nod of his head, Motto grinned at the dude in the trench coat. He shared an awesome secret of life just then. “AHEM.” Motto swiveled abruptly with a boyish sound to see that the line had moved. The same dude was standing there at the end of the velvet rope. The line had moved fast. “Hi. Yeah! Me again. Heh.” Motto ran a hand through his hair after striding up to the bouncer with haste. “How’s it going?” The bouncer said nothing. “So..uh.. can I go in?” Motto’s smile wavered. He hadn’t been paying attention to the entry process. There was an uncomfortable pause before the thick man lifted his hand and rubbed fingers against thumb. “OH! MONEY! Right! Right! No problem man. Sir. Heh. Yeah. Ok. So.. here’s.. some.” Motto held a single monetary note in front of the man’s face, but nothing happened. It seemed like there was a problem. Unsure what to do, Motto decided to try more Jenni. The other’s tension was mounting and the Hunter continued to stack notes until an absurd pile of low value bills sat in the agitated doorman’s outstretched hand. At one point, the man lost his patience and crumpled the ridiculous collection of wrinkled papers into an angry fist. Motto was all but shoved forward to stumble inside the luxurious establishment. Instantly his eyes widened at the fantastic scene. It seemed like the ladies got more beautiful inside, and there was music and the smell of cedar and coconut, and dramatic lights and elegant game tables and it was all. So. Cool. “Wow..” He whispered to no one, and stood a little straighter. A pretty woman caught his eye and grinned. She was carrying a tray of drinks and Motto was more than pleased. He never imagined a beautiful girl like that coming up to him with drinks in such a short time…wait. She was walking past him. Oh. Motto followed her in hopes of finding the bar. At least he could maybe a drink like one of those. Rather than the bar, she stepped up soft carpeted steps past a game table in the room’s center with two men and four empty seats. Smiling at the well-dressed duo, Motto seated himself and leaned forward to ask in a low voice, “Hey. Is this where I’m supposed to go? This is how you do it, right? This is a .. game or something?” He wanted to fit in right away and the pair seemed friendly enough. Edited by Gon.Pro.Hunter, Oct 20 2017, 02:22 PM.

It didn't take Drake long to snatch the VIP card from the drunken man Lynnea had identified at all. He was the best partner in crime to have at this moment and she couldn't complain at all. After they made sure they had gotten the right card, they hid from the people's view to don on them the trench coat and an oversized hat to match the coat right away. There were some stumbling and struggling around as the both of them attempted to find their balance. Even as they walked, they knew some of their - erm, Drake's walking motions must seem really strange and unnatural, but with their combined height that could equal the younger trees of the Endless Forest surrounding the town, there were few who would mess with them. Lynnea was trying her best to ignore the stares they had gotten from the crowd and the hat was doing a good job at hiding the pink flush that was forming on her cheeks. Even a dark-haired man piling on a bunch of bills on the bouncer's hand laughed at them! That was embarrassing... Especially because that man was a looker. To think that she would one day be a source of silly entertainment for such a hunk... She shook her head in an attempt to snap out of it. Drake and Lynnea shared a priority now. They needed to be quick, at least in entering the casino first. This area was filled with people who had little to do except for waiting in the queue, so sticking out like a sore thumb was definitely less than desirable. But once they were inside the casino vicinity, there would be fewer people observing them because of the distractions the games and the slot machines provided. "Drake," she whispered, "I tried to subtly widen the buttonholes while you were away borrowing the VIP card, so you can try to take a peek through them. I'm not sure if those are good enough to assist you, but we need to get into the emptier VIP queue now; I'll guide you." With some shenanigans and some occasions of wobbling around, they eventually reached their first checkpoint: The entrance to the casino. The bouncer was looking at them like they were a monster, and with such a strange placement of Drake's arms through the sleeves of the coat, Lynnea could understand why. Still, they needed to show proof that they could enter the casino despite all the suspicious movements they had done. So, with the manliest, huskiest and grumpiest voice Lynnea's vocal chords could manage, she grumbled. "I have a VIP card." That should serve as a cue for Drake to show the bouncer the card, which ensured them an entry into the casino. Finally! Chatters of adults engaging in game sessions on the tables, laughter from friends who bumped into one another, the music of the many slot machines. The slight scent of cigars dancing in the air with the aromatic fusion of perfectly crafted perfumes. All of this was the iceberg of the adult life that Lynnea had neither witnessed nor experienced before. And she was impressed at every bit of it. So impressed, in fact, that she had forgotten that she was sitting on another person's shoulders the entire time he was walking around. "Sorry, Drake, a-am I heavy? Do you wanna rest somewhere...?" she immediately looked around, looking for any place that Drake could use to rest. Having to carry her around with a limited view of his surroundings must have been quite difficult for the boy to manage. At that moment, she spotted a table in which delicious-looking, high-quality men were seated. She observed that people were also filling up the empty spots at the tables surrounding her target table and automatically, the shine in her widened eyes went out of control. "There!" she exclaimed immediately at Drake. "At 3 o' clock! Hurry! I'll tap on your shoulder when it's time to take a seat, just in case you can't see it that well." You know, in hindsight, Drake miiiiight had gotten the short end of the stick, being the bottom half. Sadly, this fact didn't dawn on him until he was already inside the casino. Of course warning signs of this appeared as soon as he began carrying Lynnea and nearly fell twice within the first 10 seconds. But Drake had agreed to it, and he HAD claimed Drake barely managed to walk forward at first but quickly got the hang of it. It still looked a tad awkward but at least the chance of tripping decreased. Drake awkwardly moved over into the VIP queue, and showed the VIP card when needed before awkwardly moving in. As he did he turned back for a second, sticking out his tongue under the trench coat at the bouncer. The sudden turn nearly caused him to fall but he quickly caught himself before moving forward. Once in, Drake could barely hold his excitement. The atmosphere just screamed adult, and the fact he got in made that fact all the better. All the people dressed up fancy, the fine women, the sight of people gambling, did I mention the women. Drake felt like a kid in a candy shop. Except, you know, if the kid had to hide under a coat with another kid and could only look at said candy. But you know what, that didn't matter right now. What did, was that he got in. A fact which he was about to shout out before quickly covering his mouth "Woops, that would had been a mistake///" he thought to himself. It was at this point Drake heard Lynnea bring up resting somewhere. Drake had been so absorbed by his limited view of the place, he hadn't noticed how much effort it took to walk like this while carrying another person. While he didn't feel too tired now, it probably would be best to take a quick rest now before he did. So he quickly, well as quick as one can in his current situation, headed over to the table Lynnea pointed out. He sat down, sighing under his breath at the chance to take a seat as the work of carrying another finally began to take a bit of a tole. As he sat there, he tried to get a look at who was also at the table with his limited vision Before he had to sneeze...Drake's eyes widen as he moved his hands over to his mouth to cover it, trying to hold in the sneeze. Sadly he forgot his hands were still on the outside of the trench coat, so to everyone else there it would look like the hands suddenly covered the stomach part of the coat where his head was. He quickly moved the hands away after managing to hold the sneeze in "Yeesh, that was a close one!" He thought in relief before silently looking through his small opening at the different people in the casino, absorbing in the sights |

Stella headed toward the table that had a lot of participants and a cheering crowd. Her original goal was just to watch them play and enjoyed the game. But on her way there, she was grabbed by another attendance at the casino and usher to another table nearby. She was grabbed and put into a chair at the table, this one was almost empty and with barely any spectator. Since she didn't sense any malice intention from the attendance, she went with the flow good-naturedly. But in her mind, originally, she was just going to watch them play and not to play the game herself, since...well...purchasing her new equipment did run her a little bit short, and even if she played, she couldn't have brought too much to the table. But the dealer lady was some spectacular salesperson, she sale the game as if it was something that one must have tried at least once in a lifetime!! Not only that, but if one were to gamble somewhere, anywhere, why not go big or go home? And what better place to try than in the infamous Kittycat Casino? Stella seated herself at one of the chairs around the round table, her attention was entirely drawn by the lady dealer and her speech, when she turned her attention back to the table, she noticed that it was the table was almost filled. The table currently has 4 participants including herself. There was someone she didn't know sitting across from her and his friend was standing behind him, leaning one side against the back of the chair lazily. To her left, it was the strangely clothed tall individual from earlier, Stella's eyes caught the sight of hands reached out from the stomach section...??? Which increasing makes her believe that this was a magical beast after all. To her right was an empty seat, allowing someone else to join the game and to the mysterious duo's left was... "Motto?"
