Rules. Apparently she fucked up but Mr. Chivalry was going to let her have her “win”. How kind. If only he knew. Did he? Confusion settled in, and Roy pulled her close. Blinking rapidly up at his appealing features as he cooed her death sentence, Dorn felt a flicker of rage rise up within. Her pride was being toyed with. Big mistake. So Roy thought he understood her, did he? He was playing “the game”. Taking his turn, so it seemed. His confidence annoyed her..the smile.. the insinuations. It was enough to make her bite his face and spray blood on the table. Just before Dorn committed to the assault, she noticed his pulse. He was either excited to kill her, or Roy was lying. It would be simple enough to figure out which, but Dorn was more interested in the why. What exactly was he gaining with pretense? Was it a basic defense mechanism or something deeper? Could it be that Roy was afraid? Dorn needed to find out because Dorn’s new food was fear. Seducing people was boring now. Even the teens, sadly. There was no challenge in it and the routine was dull. But feeding on terror, now that was glorious. Hopefully Roy would be her next meal. “My last night. Mmmm. Like that last supper business… Roy, I’ve got it!” Snapping her fingers, Dorn grinned in a new wild and sickening way. “I’ve always wanted to eat someone. You know, cannablism? Ha ha ha. Only still alive. So they could watch.” Tapping her chin, Dorn scanned the room for the lucky victim. Much to her surprise, she spotted a familiar face. It would be tricky subduing him, but Roy could help. And of course they could get him drunk first… “I choose him.” She pointed to a stocky man sitting at a table in the room’s center; his spiky hair and informal clothes making him stand out somewhat. “Let’s eat him, Roy.” * |

Dark bitter anger rose up in Roy. the kind of fury that he didn't know he had in himself, and if it wasn't for the fact that he was so close to Dorn he would have physically reviled. She had threatened his friend, and Roy would not tolerate it. That was his only friend...the one who had pulled him out his dark life and showed him there was something to live for! Nothing would happen to him! Damn Dorn and damn her strange power! Roy suppressed his dakr thoughts as Dorn pointed him out. If she knew how much that would fuck with him there would be almost no stopping her...But what was Motto doing here? Why was here? Looking for him? Just enjoying the night? Roy didn't know but it didn't matter he would just have to get this dangerous woman away from him. As Roy turned to answer Dorn he couldn't believe how quickly he had just gotten violent...that had never happened before even back when he was a killer. But he guessed...that for all the love Motto had inspired in his heart, for all the good things, when that was being threatened, when someone wanted to take it away, that was when people truly lost it. When they went in to those dark places where no man ever came back from. He would have to be careful, or else he'd end up worse then he had ever been before... The physical sign's that Roy displayed, were uncaring eyes, and him biting his bottom lip as if in thought. He had the resist the urge to bite down too hard or else he'd draw blood. He spoke to Dorn softly and if she gave him the wrong answer then one of them was definitely going to die tonight. "A bit boring don't you think Dorn? I mean certainly there's something to that yes... but this is a special night isn't it? I know you've never eaten someone before but it seems like it's just one step more than killing. I want to think outside the box, something new, something you haven't done before at all! Something you've always wanted to try, it doesn't even have to blow my mind. But it should blow yours. And be honest with me, you kill him, you eat, you watch me puke. I'm sure you'd like that, but is that really all you want to get from the night? All you think you can get? I know there's more to you Dorn. So much more. Let's find out just how much." Edited by Roy, Nov 8 2017, 08:42 AM.

“Why don’t you show me.” Dorn snapped. “Blow my mind, Roy. Although watching you puke does sound cute..” She was pensive for a moment before adding, “You insult me. I don’t need grandeur. What thrills me most is finding the beauty in all things… small and pukey as well as exotic and all that. You say there’s more to me.. but you don’t know me. Strike two, Roy.” Dorn’s eyes flashed with anger. “Be careful. I am not kind when I am angry.” * She’d let him be in charge until he pissed her off. If Mister Sexy Manners Dice Game Extraordinaire couldn’t get his shit together, she’d punish him. There’s so much to her… how dare he. What a cocky, hot, man. With a solid ass. “I want to bet on you.” She suddenly brightened. “Roy. I want to make a wager on that ass of yours. Surely a place such as the Kitty Cat has a backroom somewhere…haha, with different sorts of gambling. Games neither of us are familiar with.” Half lidded eyes and a wry curve of lips. Dorn gave her companion a tug, pulling him away from the noisy and crowded main room. Before she managed to pull him away (if she was able to budge the man at all), Dorn’s mood soured again. Perhaps Roy wouldn’t approve of this either… The likelihood was high and it pissed her off. Since when did this polite, deviant wanna-be have the upper hand? Since she gave it to him. That’s right.. tonight’s game was a new one, and she wasn’t accustomed to it. Letting anyone else have control was foreign and uncomfortable. Of course Dorn was up for the challenge. “That is, if you think that’s good enough before you kill me. Roy. You’re going to kill me…I’m not letting you back out of it if that’s what you’re doing. You strike me as a man of your word..so don’t fuck up.” * |

Roy couldn't afford not to humor her at this point...he'd do whatever as long as he could get her away from Motto. She told him he was on strike two. He'd lost one to fucking around, another to protect his friends. Fair enough. But he would have to be more careful from now on. Whatever his plans were for the night they might have to change now. This game, or whatever it was. Was evolving every moment. At first he wondered how he could take what he wanted from her, and then escape. Then it was to protect people, and finally it was to protect a friend. Now? Now he didn't know...and that thought didn't scare him as much it might have only a year ago. He loved a challenge, but he also loved to be in control. The more he traveled out of his element the less control he released he had. In a situation like this that could be a terrible thing. But still, there was some kind of peace that came with it. A strange sense of lacking the stress to make a decision. It didn't really matter what he chose, things were likely to end in a similar way no matter what at this point. So why let that outcome bother him? He couldn't do anything about it, and if he could he would. Roy looked at Dorn as she grabbed him, hesitating to ask his permission. He sighed as he relaxed and smiled at her. "That sounds fun. I think it's a good idea. Let's go find it." For whatever reason he found himself getting strangely more relaxed around Dorn. She was as dangerous and scary as ever but she was more....she was a person. She got happy, and sad, mad and annoyed. Eventually he might one day understand her. Roy would go with her wherever she would lead him. He had no intention of killing her, although it wasn't entirely impossible tonight...a lot of things seemed possible tonight that he hadn't imagined would be. But for whatever else, he was distracted. And no matter what happened he would be thankful for that. |

Fun? Roy’s cooperation triggered something nasty. It wasn’t his fucking cooperation she was interested in, Dorn wanted Roy’s resistance. She wanted his discomfort, his anxiety, his confusion. Confusion All was not lost! The urge to begin unfastening his pants passed through Dorn’s mind and she resented it. Typical. She was becoming typical. Ew. Laughter from the main room erupted over an incredible win, but Dorn knew they were all laughing at her. The soldier was following her. His gaze caused her to bristle. ‘Bad timing you stupid fuck,’ she thought with venom. Too much fucking noise. Roy wasn’t doing what he was supposed to and her dress was stupid and everything was LOUD. Ripping Roy’s clothes off seemed like a good way to make it stop. Turning, she took hold of his coat. Growling, she pulled as hard as she could. Nothing happened. The coat was well-made apparently. Extremely well made. Far too durable to be appropriate..who the hell made stupid suits this damn solid? Ridiculous. After a brief rest, Dorn tried again with more effort. Again, Roy’s button was snug and undisturbed. This elicited a frustrated shriek and tried to shove the man back. “I HATE YOU! Stupid perfect manners and your bullshit face and all OF THIS STUPID NOISE!” Dorn glanced behind her and pointed at the solider. “Get the fuck out. Get. The fuck. Out.” * Her aura swirled in a dense purplish form; filling the corridor with ice cold malice. Edited by Gon.Pro.Hunter, Nov 27 2017, 09:26 PM.

Roy hadn't expected his approval of her idea to cause such a violent reaction. She freaked out and tried to rip his suit several times, and for some reason he was surprised that it didn't work out. He supposed that he hadn't imagined she was super strong just...incredible dangerous. But nonetheless the fact that she was so weak kind of shocked him. If he had been a fool he might have started to doubt her ability to follow though on her threats. However he was no fool, and imagined that she had some other tricks up her sleeve. He would soon be proven right, for all the good that it did him. An aura seemed to come out of her filling the room with a terrible sense of malice, Roy cringed visibly. He had let his guard down and couldn't resist this onslaught of horrific power. It was worse than before...way worse. He bent over almost falling as his face contorted into a pained scowl. "The fuck is this!?" He shouted to himself. He barely heard her words but it was something about telling him to get the fuck out of here. He would if he only could. He knew he bit off more than he could chew with her but he could hardly move. Roy sank to one knew as this dreadful power weighed down on him even further. He found it hard to catch his breath and his heart felt like it was going to beat out of his chest. He needed to find out what the fuck this was and sometime soon... Roy couldn't move, he could barely think. But all of the sudden was pissed off. Roy struggled against what seemed like the weight of the world as he lifted his head to look Dorn in the eyes. "You hate me? You fucking hate me because I haven't been horrible to you!?" Roy's voice rose as his eyes took on a wild look and he grinned in a sinister manner, he let out a wicked laugh. And when he stopped, he spoke in a quieter tone calm and serious. "Your a sick fuck. I don't get you but I know that much. It get's you off. So, unless your too scared. Why don't you stop whatever the fuck your doing to me, and I'll show you something nasty." |

Roy’s shout seemed to have an effect on the soldier. Slowly, he turned and walked away; his solemn air vanishing as he cut the corner. Dorn stood there breathing hard. She was sick of being watched by that freak. He was always waiting to speak to her, and it was too upsetting to guess at what needed to be said. The soldier’s troubled eyes made it seem serious. He was handsome and wounded, with grime on his face and uniform. Blood on his hands. So pale. He knew a terrible secret of some kind. If only he’d fuck off and tell someone else. She didn’t have time for his shit. The fact that he appeared to listen to Roy instead of her pissed Dorn off, but she was mostly grateful at the moment. Tonight wasn’t her best night. She felt ugly and stupid and her worth was still tied up in being beautiful and clever. Transitioning to a more reasonable motis operandi was awkward and painful. She had to accept her true role as terrorizing hag. Eventually. "You hate me? You fucking hate me because I haven't been horrible to you!?" Dorn turned to the handsome Roy, he was having a little trouble by the look of it. Aside from his insane laughter. He continued on, and Dorn’s aura calmed into a dense burning film of Ren. The corridor returned to it’s former state and the tension eased significantly. All was not well, but it was survivable now. “You? Show me?” Dorn repeated, obviously fragile. Roy probably could do more, be more, have more. So be it. So be it. “Show me, Roy. Show me.” She stood there looking down at the attractive stranger. He was weak. Common. Nothing. But Dorn never overlooked the possibility within all people, and here she was; staring at her own death most likely. So far, this Roy hadn’t disappointed her. He’d been charming and … patient. If he would do the deed, why put it off any longer? Dorn’s aura fully withdrew into a docile poise and her eyes became dull. A tired smile. “Go ahead, Roy.” Edited by Gon.Pro.Hunter, Dec 9 2017, 10:36 PM.

Roy smiled as he stepped forward and grabbed the front of Dorn's dress pulling her forward. She had stopped what she was doing it seemed. She wanted to see him cash in on his offer of pain. Well he would deliver as best he could. He knew that he would be incapable of beating her in a straight out confrontation if she tried her best. Besides that she was a sick fuck, even if she just let him beat her. He imagined that she'd probably just get off on it. So he'd hurt her, the only other way he could think of. Roy didn't care anymore, he didn't care if she killed him or everyone else in this whole damned casino anymore. He just wanted to hurt her, and draw some blood. He leaned in close to her ear his mouth displaying an evil smile as his teeth nearly connected to her ear. He spoke clearly, and softly. "You'll never be happy." He waited for a moment to let that sink in. "You'll never be happy because your a black hole. You consume everything around you turning the world into dust and ash, in the hope that you can fill the hole in that black thing you call a heart, but it will never work. You will consume everything around you until nothing is left. Nothing will ever satisfy you, you will never find joy. No more matter how much you take from this world, no matter what it is. You will never be whole. You'll only ever grow infinitely smaller, and infinitely more miserable. There is no end for you. It will only grow worse." Roy spoke those words, as his face took on a particularily devilish complexion. Roy hadn't realized it before. But there was plenty of demon left in him it seemed. "You'll never be happy." Dorn’s lips parted and formed a light smile. Roy wasn’t wrong. She’d heard it before.. more than once. It was a painful surprise however, to realize he was like the rest. Roy only saw the performance.. and not her. It was flattering of course, it always was. Her acting skills were fucking A+, apparently. Why then, did she feel so dreadful? Roy’s words continued to pour down and Dorn withdrew into the mental fortress. Her place of refuge and normalcy; where she could relax and be at ease. Performing was tiresome business. The only thing anchoring Dorn to the present was his proximity. Roy’s warm breath against her neck, the faint scent of cigarettes on his clothes, his person…the soul of his had almost had a chance to touch hers. “…You'll only ever grow infinitely smaller, and infinitely more miserable…” Dorn’s smile faded. Some of Roy’s words actually managed to sting. Bravo. She’d either failed in some way, or this particular man was special.. “…There is no end for you. It will only grow worse." Distress. Pure distress. Hidden in her mind’s pretty castle, Dorn hadn’t seen it coming. She thought it was safe and pointless to keep watch.. but she had been wrong. No end. He said.. no end. Fuck him. Nothing grows worse…except that it did and no one was supposed to mention it. No one was supposed to talk about that place where nightmares fainted. No one was supposed to know about it, understand it, remind her of it. That place. The one she was destined for. A throne was there waiting. It terrified her. She would never escape and it was only a matter of time until that day. She would die a thousand times and never die every second there for eternity. She would feel the thing that pain itself shriveled away from. Fuck. To escape the horror of knowing her future, Dorn’s only shield was the fortress and it was on fire. She couldn’t breathe and had to get out. Blue eyes closed and head hanging, Dorn began to weep. She was alone. Edited by Gon.Pro.Hunter, Dec 22 2017, 08:44 AM.

Fuck. That had somehow worked. Roy's eye's widened in surprise as Dorn seemed to grow ever more miserable. Her smile slowly slipping from her lips as he spoke. It seemed as if his prophecy was self fullfilling, his favorite kind. Roy enjoyed the fact that he had somehow managed to catch her off guard. But if he didn't get the hell out of here he would be the one pain pretty soon. Roy didn't waist anytime as he let go of Dorn and sprinted away from her. He sprinted first to the bar and grabbed Motto by the sleeve and just kept running, spilling whatever drink he was holding at the time. "No time to talk. Just run." Roy spewed out as he bolted out the doors with his friend. He would run like that for a whilel until he found a free cab, and hailed it, practically diving in to the vehicle and offering the driver an obscene amount of money to get them out of town as fast as possible. At first he must have assumed they were criminals, but when Roy pulled out his casino winnings he seemed not to care, and slammed his foot down on the gas with a rather greedy smile. Roy wasn't sure what would happen at the casino. But he had stuck his neck out more than enough times for complete and total strangers. At this point he thought he was entitled to the opportunity to grab his friend and run. Roy sat back against the seat and breathed deeply. His whole body was tense, and it felt like he was just waking up from some kind of horrible nightmare. He wiped the sweat from his brow and looked over at Motto who he assumed was quite confused. "Sorry about that Motto I had some...woman problems... I'll tell you all about it once we're out of town." |
