The wolf nodded and prepared to get ready. Sliding off the bed, Ylva went to pack up her things. Putting her high-heels on, she checked the cellphone that was given to her by Demyan. There was only one text message and Ylva couldn't help but stiffen at the message she received. 'I'll be seeing you very soon, my волчица~ <3' Hands shaking, Ylva slowly exited the bathroom with her phone in her hand. Her eyes were wide with shock and instantly her gaze went to the window. Could...Could someone have been listening in on them last night through the smashed window? It wasn't far fetched, to be honest. He had eyes and ears all over this damned city. "H-Hey...M-Motto?" she muttered in a whisper, "I...I think Demyan...knows we're c-c-coming." Her voice trailed off at the end, her eyes considerably dulled for she felt like this plan was hopeless. If he knew what they were planning, he would anticipate them coming and plan accordingly. It...It would be hard to succeed with this plan. As the majyuu contemplated this, another text flashes into her screen 'Meet me at the warehouses by the docks~ if you or your 'friend' tries anything funny...you will be punished <3' "He...wants us to meet him at the warehouses...b-by the docks," she muttered as a sense of dread overcame her in that instance. So he did know that they wanted to find him...this wasn't good in the slightest. Demyan definitely had something planned for them, or he wouldn't be sending such confident messages like this. But they had to meet him if Ylva had any chance of leaving this terrible life behind. "...do...do we follow this?" voice small as she looked to Motto with frightened eyes that looked like she was on the verge of breaking down and she tried to find any sort of resolve that would help her stay strong. "N-Nevermind...we'll...we'll follow it...it's the only way....the only sure way," the wolf muttered as she picked up her purse and stood by the door next to Motto. "Let's...Let's go" |

Motto was going through several mental scenarios when Ylva left the bathroom. He figured she was upset because of the inevitable bloodshed, but her words surprised him. And pissed him off. Of course that asshole knew he was coming. That Demyan worm was kinda like Dorn; always knowing everything and smiling smugly. Well fuck that. A small agitated quirk in Motto’s brow twitched as he considered the new development. After the second text message she read aloud, he took the phone from her hand and crushed it. Open his hand, Motto let the components fall to the floor and looked at the she-wolf. “That’s nice. He’ll be coming to me.” The last thing Motto Brook was going to do was play by that bastard’s rules. “Let’s go.” Holding out his hand, the young man’s aura flowed in a steady and strong shroud of ten as he waited for the mayjuu. If she accepted it, he’d leave the hotel and ride across the town, his eyes narrowed with concentration. His plan was already compromised in a few different ways, but Motto wasn’t about to let that slow him down. After speeding down several streets and weaving through heavy traffic, he took Ylva to the city airport. There they dismounted and still holding her hand, Motto would lead her straight to the VIP flight line. Just as he approached a smaller craft that was spooling up, he reached into his tuxedo jacket and cringed. His Hunter’s license. Dammit. Things might suck but he wasn’t turning back now. As a kid he’d learned a trick from his best friend that had come in handy more than once; to act as if he was supposed to be there. Of course Motto never got the hang of acting, but he’d done ok a few times when he managed to convince himself he actually did belong somewhere. Concentrating on Ylva’s situation and his duty as a friend and as a Hunter, he strode past security without issue. The crew was performing flight checks and paid no attention to the pair as they boarded the private airship. Once inside, Motto turned to Ylva after a glance at the cockpit. ![]() “Ok. Sing Ylva. This is where things are going to happen.” |

Turquoise watched at Motto crushed her phone in his hand. When he said he wouldn't be playing by Demyan's games, the wolf couldn't help but admire his tenacity to stick to his own plan anyway. Looking to the offered hand, she took it in her own and followed him out of the room. They traveled far on his bike and ended up at the airport, a part of the city she had never been to. Everyone looked hurried and rushed, which made them less noticeable to anyone else, much to Ylva's delight. With the way she was dressed, she was sure that they would've brought a lot of attention. The majyuu trailed after Motto, watching as they slipped passed security and onto a private airship. This all seemed...too smooth for her liking. They hadn't encountered any of Demyan's men. Her body tensed; this wasn't good. Something, surely was about to happen. She'd been enough in these situations to know when something was up. When Motto told her to sing, to help bring out Demyan and his men, she nodded. Using her aura, she concentrated it on her voice while parting her lips to sing. "You know, I gave you the benefit of the doubt," a voice said, coming from the entrance where the two had entered the airship, "I thought 'Maybe my волчица won't try to run away because she knows what would happen if she was caught' but I guess I was wrong." Tall man, with sliver blonde hair and ice blue eyes stepped foot inside the airship to confront Motto and Ylva. "And after all I did for you, puppy? I gave YOU a home when YOU lost yours, clothes, food...and this is how you repay me?" He said, looking hurt and dejected, but then he smiled, "but! I can be a forgiving man! If you come back to me you will only stay in The Room for one month instead of two, how does that sound my волчица, my puppy?" His eyes were shining, hoping that Ylva would comply and come with him while completely ignoring Motto. Ylva stood there, completely dozen like a deer in headlights. This smiling man scared her immensely and she couldn't help but left her hand fall from Motto's and start shuffling her way over to the man that completely owned her. Ears lowered, and body trembling, the wolf looked over her shoulder with sadness in her eyes for being so weak. Demyan then looked to the other male in surprise. "And YOU were the lucky man who bought her last night right? Did she treat you well before asking you to talk her here? Or...," he said in a calm voice but suddenly it became sharp while he ran a hand through his hair, "did you instigate this RIGHTEOUS rescue for my little puppy, Mr. Motto Brook, the RIGHTEOUS Pro Hunter? Oh, I did digging on you; it's not everyday a Hunter sacrifices their own license for a whore~" ![]() Spoiler: click to toggle

Turning, Motto blinked at the familiar face in the ship’s entryway; his surprised expression quickly changing to a scowl at the phrase “my волчица”. How the heck did that guy get there so fast? He must have been at the hotel. It was possible, and then it was simple matter of following them at a distance to avoid detection. So much for situating himself far from the dock warehouses.. Motto’s shock was made worse when Ylva let go of his hand and started for Demyan. She was under that guy’s control, right? This wasn’t actually a thing… was it? Quickly he reached out to clamp his hand onto Ylva’s arm and pull her back. He’d take the consequences later if she was disappointed somehow, but there was no way Motto was going to stand there and let her go back again. Not on his watch, dammit. ![]() Amber eyes moved back to the Russian dude as he addressed Motto, hardening into a furious glare when certain things were implied. Normally he’d scan the area to check for additional threats. Normally, he’d hear someone out and proceed with as little violence as possible. But not today. Before the word “whore” was finished, Motto’s fist collided with the mouth that uttered it. At least, that was the Hunter’s goal. He charged straight at the son-of-a-bitch with a nen-enforced cross; powered to drive straight through the ship’s wall. His mind was clear and silent; no distractions or thought. Motto’s whole being was devoted to one thing and one thing alone: killing Demyan. And then killing him again. And again. Edited by Gon.Pro.Hunter, Aug 27 2017, 09:05 PM.

The she-wolf stopped as she felt the other hold onto her arm and pull her back towards Motto. Right; Motto was there to help her get away. They were going to get away from all this...right? Before she knew it, though, Motto was on the attack. The man wasn't totally caught off guard as the other charged at him. The hit managed to punch his face, but he established Ken to lessen the impact; if he hadn't, he was sure that the impact would've instantly killed him. He had to be careful of this one. Those amber eyes held a dark fury in them. Maybe they could be a weakness...it would be amusing to see how riled up he can get the boy. Shaking his head from the blow and rubbing where the fist landed, Demyan looked up at the other. Backing away, a steel pipe visible in the man's hand, Demyan used Shuu to re-enforce the pipe as he quickly aimed for the back of Motto's head. He was hoping to knock the young man out cold. "Motto...hmm, that name sure does sounds familiar," he called out and then looked to Ylva, "was that the name you kept calling out to when we trained you, puppy? That very same name that also gave us upset customers because you'd call out that name while being intimate with them?" Ylva hid her face from the man, giving her answer to Demyan. The man then gave Motto an even bigger smile. "Well, it's certainly a pleasure to meet the man himself!" Demyan said with a laugh, "but I can't let you have my puppy. She's...quiet important to me here! A mayjuu like her isn't found everyday, you know~ but I'm sure you know all about that since you had her for the night, yes~?" Keeping his distance from the other, Demyan snapped his fingers and several armed men made their way on board. "Or maybe you didn't, which is quiet a shame; she's fantastic in bed. I taught her well, isn't than right my волчица~ <3" Thin, delicate hands clasped over her own ears. She didn't want to hear all this, let alone having Motto listen to what she did. It was humiliating and I made her feel dirty.

He didn’t feel the impact of his fist against Demyan’s face. Motto’s senses had dulled significantly in his blind pursuit, and the blue eyed man was faster. A sickening thwack sounded as Demyan’s pipe met the back of Motto’s skull, sending the raven to his knees. There were two ways Motto faced serious threats: the way he’d been trained early on, always maintaining a balanced percentage of defensive aura while channeling reinforcement to his attacks, and reckless abandon. The first had been drilled into him as a kid, and Motto almost always fought that way. It was because of this habit that he survived the lethal blow from Demyan’s pipe; the majority of damage was avoided due to the mild layer of protection he’d thoughtlessly employed. Still the force was enough to stun Motto. Blood trickled down his neck as he rode out the initial shock, and Demyan’s stupid voice poured into his ears.![]() Saying things about Ylva. Real shitty things. Gritting his teeth, Motto got to his feet and willed away the consequent dizziness. “Go back to hell.” The Hunter rushed again at Demyan heedless of the armed men. In that moment, his pride eclipsed all else and Motto resorted to the less practical method. All aura was devoted to his hands as he attacked with a barrage of cruel strikes. Absolutely nothing mattered except for killing. Nothing. Only killing. The silence in Motto’s mind was deafening. He unleashed a powerful series of jabs aimed at Demyan’s head and torso, to be followed by as many hooks as it took to bring the man down. Hell, even if the guy went down Motto would keep hitting until there was nothing left. Edited by Gon.Pro.Hunter, Aug 27 2017, 09:08 PM.

Blue, calculating eyes watched as Motto fell to his knees from the initial blow. It wasn't enough to fully incapacitate him, though, and now he was up and throwing punches at him. He wasn't thinking through, it was obvious how sloppy his form was because of it. Dodging the blows, Demyan concentrating on finding the other's weak spots in his defense. Noticing that he was only focusing all the Nen into his fists, the man struck the other on the back of the head once more, not enough to kill but only to hoped to pass out. He'd leave it to the others. But a few more blows to the rest of the young man's body wouldn't hurt. All he wanted was Ylva back in his care. Ylva watched on in horror as Demyan hit Motto again and again. Before she knew it the majyuu found herself between the two as she used her body to shield the other. "I-I'LL GO WITH YOU!" she yelled, fierce tears falling down her face, ]"I-I'll go....I'll go back with you...i-if you just leave him alone...p-please." Demyan blinked as he looked down at the wolf. A smile broke out and he pulled the she-wolf to him. "замечательно! That's all I wanted in the first place, puppy!" he said while running a hand through Ylva's hair before cupping her chin and kissing her forcefully and then deepening the kiss. She reciprocated, not wanting to anger him any further, to lull him into a false sense of security before... Blue eyes widened as Demyan felt something sharp entered his throat and his breathing hiccuped as the metallic taste of blood filling his throat. Gasping, he shoved Ylva from him and glared at her as his aura surged, enraged, around himself. "Y...YOU....F-FUCKING...C...CUNT!" He struggled to yell as he held his throat and the majyuu looked at the man with equally angered eyes and blood on her lips. ![]() "Yeah...and this fucking cunt just stabbed you," she murmured, a darkness brewing in her voice as she States him down. Sneaking her nail file into her top while in the bathroom proved to be a worthwhile idea at the time when she received Demyan's initial text. It was spur of the moment, like something nagged her to take it with her. And telling Motto about it would ruin the fly-by-your-seat plan that started to form in that bathroom... His third attack grazed Demyan, and Motto only worked harder to land a deadly hit. He only needed a single real connect to end the monster. The monster. A sudden flash and Motto found himself on the floor. Something musta..happened. Gotta get up. ….. Thoughts flit away and colors drifted in warm silence as the Hunter slipped into semi-consciousness. Something very important was happening. He needed to …get up, right? The mental haze sharpened with a blow to his shoulders, followed by another. Motto was supposed to fight! Kill Demyan. Slow, dazed hands slid towards his shoulders in order to begin lifting himself when several more painful blows took Motto to a whole new level of pain. Pain he hadn’t really been feeling much until now. Ylva was crying. Ylva was in trouble..he was supposed to save her. She was saving him. No.. Motto’s entire being screamed No, and a weak sound was all that came out. What were they? They were kissing. A real actual …..she wanted it. She was going back. ‘Ylva? Where? I….won’t..let…’ Amber eyes closed and Motto fell into total unconsciousness. Given the severity of his wounds, the Hunter ought to have been permanently maimed, but Motto was not average. The young man recovered from physical unnaturally fast. Four times as quickly as the average human as a matter of fact. (Of course, Motto wasn’t human but he didn’t know that.) He would remain completely out cold for three hours before regaining a weakened awareness. If Deyman had beaten him any longer, Motto would have died. Without a protective shroud on any nen whatsoever, the Hunter had been completely at the other’s mercy. ![]() ability reference Edited by Gon.Pro.Hunter, Aug 28 2017, 07:46 AM.

Heels ran on the landing strip as quick as she could with Motto on her back. The armed men were most likely on her tail and she needed a way out of this damned city. Blood covered most of her mouth and the front of her chest, stomach and her hair. Who thought that ripping teeth into someone throat would cause such a mess? It did, however stun the guys Demyan brought long enough to get the hell out of the airship. Adrenaline was the only keeping her going at the moment, as well as the new returning feeling of the Nen she concentrated in her feet. The mere liberation of having her Nen back made her ecstatic...but she couldn't feel that elation. Her face was unchanging with darkened eyes that seemed to only be focused on finding away out of this city... --- Alley ways seemed to be the only salvation in trying to get away. If she was out on the streets, there would certainly too much attention placed on her with all this blood. Huddling up in a dark corner of a deserted alley, Ylva carefully propped Motto up against the wall and then pulled him close to her as she ran a hand through his hair. He looked like he was in so much pain. Seeing Demyan kick and beat on someone she held so dear in her heart had made her angry and act with the nail file....and then rip the man's throat from his neck. She...didn't want to relive all that... The majyuu looked down at the other and pressed her forehead to his. "Please...Please...w-wake up, okay? P-Please be fine..." The worry in her voice spilled forth as she continued to hold the other. He had passed out when she initiated her plan, but...he hadn't woken up. It worried her so much that she considered going to the hospital but Ylva was sure that people would look for her there. The only reasonable thing to do was to sneak their way out of the city, but it would be hard on foot. A vehicle would be a good thing to hijack. Blinking, the she-wolf thought for a moment and then started to search Motto's body for a cellphone. Looking around, something beetle shaped touched her hand and she pulled it out, revealing his cellphone. There was one person she trusted to help her and it was a good thing she remember his number. Dialing, she put the phone to her ear with trembling hands. Ring. Ring. Ring. Hearing the phone being picked up, Ylva quickly spoke into it. "S-Spike...it's Ylva, t-the majyuu escort y-you chauffeured...I need help getting out of York New...I'll tell you where you can pick me up b-but we have to hurry...p-people are after me..." |

From deep in slumber Spike more felt his phone ring than hear it at first, the words slowly gaining clarity as lucid dreams gave way to awareness of being under his warm sheets and blanket. His consciousness tottered on the brink of falling back into sleeping before the sweet words of lovers and beautiful blue moons blasting from his phone really registered. In a cascade of crisp, fresh linens the hunter kicked the bedding from himself, as he shot to sitting straight up and snatched the phone from his nightstand. Custom ringtones was almost a necessity in the life of a private driver, and Spike only had one fare that lived up to those lyrics for him. The moment the call connected he opened his mouth to call her name, only to let it hang open as her fear laced voice emanated from the receiver. "O..o..Ok, I'm on my way. Give me the address. Just lie low until I get there." Spike blurted back, mind rushing just imagining how bad things could've spiraled in the months since last seeing her. A million possibilities and outcomes danced around his gray matter as he jumped down from his bed's podium and dashed for his closet. Unfortunately, thoughts of whether this was his night to die became front and center in the hunters mind, while he stuffed his bare feet into some sneakers, slipped on some jeans and grabbed his jacket. Nausea began to hit Spike in waves as he again dashed through his apartment towards the front door, only pausing to grab his hat and the keys stored within. Fittingly for keeping up his feverish pace, sweat was pouring off of the man as he entered the building's corridor speeding for the elevator. It was much appreciated that the doors opened immediately upon the press of the button, but the blood-red interior was the last straw for his shredded nerves. As soon as the door shut and the descent began, Spike fell to his knees and just began spewing vomit on the sadly recently cleaned carpet. By the end there was an odd sense of relief from taking his mind off his mortality somewhat, but obviously one of emptiness as well for losing the other half of his still undigested dinner to this normally dingy floor. When the elevator arrived at the lobby the hunter took things slightly slower, hauling himself to his feet using the railing inside the tiny room and then jogging into the lobby proper. Spike picked up speed as his stomach settled, going back to a full run once they entered the parking garage. It was Ironic to him that it was likely the people who let him keep the luxury sedan he jumped into and cranked on that were trying to hurt his friend that night. Seemed only fitting really that he use it to rescue her. The hunter only allowed himself a couple of seconds to rest his forehead on the steering wheel and dwell on his considerable fear, before snapping back to the task at hand and hitting the gas. The car blasted out of Spike's parking space in a shower of dust and a screech of rubber against concrete resounding in the air. It was only for the sake of the car's structural integrity that he didn't ram the bar lowered over the exit, choosing to instead slow to a halt to punch his exit key code with furious presses. The second the driver had the path opened for him he took to the asphalt avenue like a fish to water, using just a few simple movements to make himself an illuminated bullet in the desolate streets. Spike hit every shift of the car's gears as smooth and quick as a blink, reaching top speed in professional time, taking many corners at honestly suicidal speeds. He barely thought as intersections streaked by in moments in some areas, others necessitating mounting the curb to avoid wasting time at red lights. The hunter ground his teeth in silence as the destination approached, his thoughts completely on those of a friend's well-being for easily the first time in his life. |
