His hands on her shoulders made her wince a bit in pain. The injury still affected her had hadn’t gotten any better. Standing, her body completely shook in his hold as her eyes avoided his gaze, afraid that she’d see those beautiful eyes once more and utterly break under their gaze. Warmth embraced her and before she knew it, Motto was hugging her close to him. Her, the one that left him behind in that town and she headed home alone. Her, the one that instigated the fight between them and Dorn which caused more unnecessary pain for Motto. Her, the one that always seemed to cause so much trouble for him and she knew she was causing him trouble now. Why did she bring so much misfortune on this…selfless person that seemed to sacrifice a lot of himself for her? It confused her; Demyan said he was the only one that truly saw any value in her but Motto…Motto held her so carefully, like she was meant to be held that way. Those old feelings…they came rushing back and flooded her heart to bursting. Ylva listened to the word of comfort he gave her, saying she was safe now and that no one would hurt her anymore. Would she believe those words? They came from Motto so they had to be true…? Right…? He was here now; he was here for her. It was really him and he was there. “…M..Motto…” Voice soft, tone scared. “It’s….It’s really y-you…,” she muttered into his shoulder, “M-Motto…..Motto…” The majyuu continued to say his name until the name turned into deep wretched cries as she cupped her face in her hands. He was here for her, but she was broken beyond repair; violated by the worst ways imaginable and taught to love and respond to such debauchery and it would make normal people look at her with utter disgust on their faces. The wolf had hoped, once upon a time, that he’d fall for her, but now… How could anyone fall for something that was used, depraved, and filthy….? |

Ylva’s broken sobs really got to him. Somewhere deep down within Motto, a spark fanned hotter and a flame flickered to life. Those guys were getting rich off Ylva and countless others. Girls they’d tortured and starved by the looks of it. Messed with their minds maybe. Unforgivable. What they were doing was gonna stop. Tonight. He might even break his vow. As Motto stood there holding the frail girl, a dull glow could be seen in his eyes before subsiding into the corners. First things first. He needed to make sure Ylva was stable. Slowly, the young man’s hands began to pat her; Motto took his time and gently guided her to a small couch were they could sit side by side. She probably needed to get off her feet and rest, Ylva’s emaciated features hadn’t escaped him. If she let him seat her close to himself, Motto would look her over for any sign of tracking mechanism. They wouldn’t want to lose their precious merchandise so there had to be some kinda way they watched ‘em. Right? “Ylva.” Motto’s voice was careful. “They don’t know where you are, so how could they kill you?” ![]() |

Deep sobs wracked the wolf’s body and drifted off into a sad silence. It was exhausting, all this crying; made her look incredibly weak and so pathetic. The majyuu was usually more composed, had grown a bit more sly, more tenacious, and knew how to use herself to get all the money she could out of men that used her. But this was so different. Motto was from a time where she was not all these things; a time where she would’ve never considered herself to be ANY of those things, ever. As he moved to pat her, Ylva couldn’t help but twitch every now and then. The whole ordeal was too much and she was overstimulated from it all but soon her body responded to the touching, as it had been trained to do. A deep, sensual sound came from the back of her throat she leaned into his touch. Her hollowed heart ached for the affection, having been told that no one would ever actually love a creature like her. Creatures weren’t allowed to love or receive love; it was why they made such good toys, so said Demyan. It was inappropriate but automatic. As they sat down, Ylva took his hand in her’s and started to kiss it in a way that would make many of the men she had seen over the past four months very…excited for her. Her eyes were glazed over while taking the hand and placing it against her cheek and trailing in down her neck and towards her chest. But something stopped her. It was his voice, the question he asked, that made her become a bit clear headed in all of this and realized what she was doing to him. Appalled by herself, and utterly disgusted by her actions, Ylva stood and backed away from the other. Fear of herself, of how she had just acted so automatically like a damn whore towards him….it scared her. “I-I’m…..M-Motto I-I’m sorry…” She didn’t looked up at him, avoided his gaze and had her ear lowered as more tears fell. Her thoughts quickly went to the question he had asked her. “I’m…not sure; they…they have so many eyes and ears, Motto,” she said in such a soft voice that it was almost like she was afraid they’d hear her, “police officers, political people….people with money and p-people with power…t-those…t-they had their way with me…” Ylva paused for a bit, gathering her thoughts and trying to stop how she was feeling. “…T-They….They put a tattoo, right above my tail,” she muttered softly, “I think…it’s someone’s Hatsu; if I even use a bit of my Hatsu…they know..t-they know and I…I get sent to that room and have…have punishment…from them….” |

When Ylva wanted to hold his hand, Motto complied readily. Soon after that a wave of desire bore down on him without warning as she kissed his hand in a sexy way. The hairs on Motto’s head pricked up and his lower half stirred. He struggled to understand why she was doing that and wasn’t sure how to respond. Motto’s mouth opened and shut twice, followed by a deep inhale. It felt so good, but.. it wasn’t right. When she brought his hand to her body, Motto could feel himself trembling. What had they been talking about? Something.. A sound choked up in his throat as his fingers slid lower. Motto Brook was mesmerized and utterly powerless when it came to boobs. Also, terrified. Boobs weren’t scary of course, but what came after was. Ylva was the one to break the moment. Standing up, she moved away with a stammering apology. Her expression made him want to punch himself in the face and comfort her at the same time. He was a complete idiot. She was answering his question and stuff, but it was hard for Motto to focus. Had he just put the moves on Ylva? Seriously? Did that just happen? Frowning down at his hand, Motto wasn’t sure how he’d turned into such a bastard and struggled to process it. “Police officers?! WHAT?” The Hunter flinched and shook his head when Ylva’s words finally registered. “WHAT?” Motto stood up incredulous. “ARE YOU ..?? POLICE??? OFFICERS???!!!” It was hard to imagine..people in positions of aid acting that way. It cut Motto deep. His ideals were being shaken up and it was more than he could handle. The Hunter’s breathing became erratic, and his hands filled with concentrated aura. A terrible energy surged through Motto, causing a tangible shift in atmosphere. His eyes were dull again, and his features twitched with rage. “rrrrrr.. “ The time had come to act. No more thinking. They would pay the price now. An eerie calm settled over the Hunter as his aura continued to fester. Motto walked slowly to the door, stopped momentarily near Ylva. “Stay here.” He commanded. ![]() Edited by Gon.Pro.Hunter, Aug 6 2017, 01:51 PM.

His anger at what she said terrified her. Aura surged around Motto like swelling ocean waves. Crescendos of pure power, fueled by rage from what she divulged to her friend and the one that completely eclipsed her heart, made it impossible for her to go anywhere near him least she be torn apart by the sheer force. If anything, she cowered against the wall and tried to calm him down. "M-Motto! Motto please....please stop...p-please!" Ylva stammered in strained voice, "not...not tonight...I just....I just..." Words escaped her as she tried to say the right thing without sounding making herself sound even more disgusting than she was. "S-Stay....with me, please," the majyuu said, voice so quiet that she wasn't sure if he even heard her, "I...I don't want to be here alone....I-I'm scared you...you won't come back cause I know y-you don't have a plan a-and going in full force i-is not....is not wise, Motto..." "I...I don't want to lose...the most important person to m-me..." More tears spilled from the lifeless eyes of the she-wolf as she looked to him, hoping he'd stay and...they'd figure out things later. A better plan to...to run! In the past, they always figured out her plans, knew what she was planning and she'd be taken back and "taught" not to leave. Five, unsuccessful attempts had been made and hope beaten and ripped from her during the process. But now. Motto was here; the wolf had thought she would never see him again but he was there before her. He always seemed to have courage when she didn't; lifting her up when she was completely down. She remembered how stubborn he was about saving those girls but they had planned out how to save them successfully. He was self-sacrificing as he let himself get caught in her Hatsu so that they could capture all the men easily. A heart of gold wrapped in stubbornness; that was what Motto Brook was to her. Thinking of him, as well as her family, during the most grueling times, led her to have hope and continue on. It was also a double-edged sword, for her own insecurities and constant emotional turmoil Demyan and those men forced on her twisted those wonderful memories into second-guessing herself. Hesitantly, more so because she was afraid she might touch him in filthy, inappropriate ways, Ylva offered her hand to him, hoping he'd reconsider and stay in the loft with her to think of a better way to do what he wanted. |

As she spoke, Motto’s eyes remained fixed on the door. For the entirety of Ylva’s speech the Hunter stood letting her words fill the space, but whether or not he listened was unclear. A fierce expression seemed permanent and Motto’s dark aura leaked freely while she pleaded; her tears did nothing to penetrate his irate mind. When only Ylva’s quiet sobs could be heard, Motto began to move. One step followed by another, he walked to the door; his shoulder brushing past her offered hand. Motto took hold of the door handle and opened it in silence before leaving. The Hunter was unreachable; past the point of reeling himself back. And yet, he still held the door handle. When it looked as though Motto had lost himself, there was a pause. A moment of struggle. Dangerously subtle. ‘The tattoo.’ Somehow he remembered Ylva’s binding dilemma. If he left, she would be without protection. They could find her and take her. But if he wiped them all out, it’d be over. He could just take care of it now. It’d be easy. He’d destroy everyone. Then no more problems. ‘But it’s too risky. You’re not strong enough. You failed before.’ Motto’s hands loosened. He had to stay. He had to guard Ylva. He had to wait for the right time to act. They would come for her if he left. Slowly, Motto turned and re-entered the room before letting the door click back into place. His face was unchanged..a cold blank stare with burning rage simmering beneath. He moved further into the room without any purpose and stopped in its center. ‘I have to wait. I will wait. I must WAIT. I don’t want to wait.’ Motto’s mind was black and swirling. Grabbing the rolling chair, he unleashed a furious scream and threw it; shattering half of the window. Seven stories below, breaks screeched and horns honked when the chair came crashing down in the intersection. Motto, who was already taking hold of the desk and preparing to lift it; stopped. His shoulders shook with what looked like self-restraint, but Motto was losing. The Hunter’s features twitched, and his aura was pulsing wildly while he growled and increased his grip. Wood groaned under the pressure. ![]() |

Motto was still as she spoke... But she wasn’t sure if he had heard anything she said because, soon enough, he was moving towards the door. Utter loss was on her face as he brushed past her, like she didn’t exist. The aura that radiated from him was black and terrible; it felt like her hand was burning so she pulled it back as she moved away from him as best as she could while thinking about his response to her. To be snubbed by people that had taken her was one thing, but… This just made her feel so insignificant. It didn’t help that Ylva felt that she had made this happen; had caused Motto to incase himself in this rage that formed because of her and the situation she was in. Why did she have to cause so much trouble for him? Why did she make him have to clean up her messes? It’s because you’re a burden to him. That’s all you’ll ever be to this young man. What a utterly terrible creature you are... The terrible voices that had constantly mocked her when she was with Motto at the hospital because of that Dorn woman were back. They hadn’t bothered her ever since she’d been taken to York Shin, especially when she took her “medicine”. Now, they were back in full force as she slid down the wall, completely and utterly defeated. Didn’t you want him to come and save you anyway, you selfish whore? You’ve got your wish. “Not, like this….I didn’t want this to happen this way…,” she thought as she pled to the voices. But it did and now he’s going to lose his life because of YOU. Clawed hands gripped at her ears, as if wanting to tear them off so the snide voices and their atrocious words towards her. The sound of the door clicking made the majyuu glance up, but she regretted doing so. The eyes she had fallen in love with were devoid of any of the warmth they held. It held a coldness like she’d never seen before in her life as pure and unadulterated enmity threatened to pour forth from the depths there. The intensity and malice that was infused with Motto’s aura permeated the air, making it thick and heavy. This heaviness affected Ylva, pushing her against the wall and leaving her no place to flee to. The sound of glass shattering and the most infuriated, soul-crushing scream came out of the person the wolf majyuu loved; it was terrifying to see him act in such a way…so much so that frightened whines left her as she stared with him with wide eyes. The feeling of soiling herself was lost as she immediately went to shield herself from the shards of glass and any other actions that may follow. It was the final straw that made Ylva “tune-out” from what was going on. It was another way that helped her to deal with her situation; to be able to separate herself from the reality of what was happening to her. It was her lifeline in the waters of this life that threatened to drown her…as well as the singing she started to mutter to herself... |

At the some point Motto’s grip on the desk relaxed. How much time had passed was unclear. He felt drained and disoriented looking down at his fingers. A breeze made him look up at the shattered window, and Motto frowned. It was all kinda foggy but he remembered doing it. Angry. He was angry. With sluggish movements, the Hunter staggered away from the desk and broken glass. He was supposed to be protecting Ylva. Ylva. ![]() Swiveling suddenly, he found her in a crumpled heap in the corner; her already dulled eyes now void of lucidity. She wasn’t moving. Did something happen? Was she injured? “Ylva..” His voice sounded hoarse, and Motto’s legs threatened to give way. One step. Two. A knee buckled and Motto slid down to the floor before crawling to the she-wolf. “Ylva..Ylva..nNn.” He winced as glass bit into his palms and continued towards the other until it seemed like there were two of her. Motto’s fatigue was overwhelming and strange. He was so tired. A shaking hand reached out to touch Ylva’s arm. “Ylva?” She was ill. She’d soiled herself..she was hurt somehow. Grunting, Motto pulled her to himself and shook his head to clear the blurry visions. “I’m here.. I… got ya..” His muscles protested the command to get to his feet with the girl in his arms, but Motto decided to override that inconvenience and force it. “It’s…ok..Ylva..” With every fiber of his being, the Hunter willed himself to lift his companion up. Smiling, Motto mentally sent a ‘told ya so’ to his muscles just before his eyes crossed and legs gave in. He fell into total darkness before his body hit the floor or bed or Ylva..it was unclear. He’d completely run himself out somehow. |

The words of a song fell off Ylva's lips, a mantra that had been made to soothe herself and keep her trapped in her own mind so she didn't have to face anything. It was a long time until she pulled herself out of the dissociative stupor. Blinking, some life came back into Ylva's eyes as she lowered her arms and looked around. The yelling had stopped and Motto wasn't around. In fact, she was on the floor by the bed and he was by her side, unconscious. Confusion was plastered on her face, wondering why he was so close to her. Her mind wanted to wander towards a darker answer but she knew that was not the answer. The majyuu could feel his arms around her. Was...he carrying her somewhere? Blood; the metallic scent made itself known as she breathed in. It smelled like it was coming from the young man. Brows framed in worry, Ylva worked herself away from Motto's grip and stood up. Signs of blood, illuminated from the light coming in from the broken window, were seen on his hands and the majyuu couldn't help but feel responsible for his injuries. A shaky sigh left her and she searched around for something to tidy the wound with, as well as something to pick up all the glass on the floor. Tip toeing around the shards, the wolf headed to the bathroom to grab a washcloth wet with warm water. She made her way back to Motto, moving him to the bed so he's have a better place to rest while she cleaned up his hands. "Oh Motto...I'm so sorry I....I'm sorry I made you so angry..." Delicate yet shaky fingers lay his palms upwards. The glimmering pieces of glass that were still in his hands were noticeable. Nervous, Ylva used her clawed fingers to extract the glass, keeping the shards in her other hand as she worked diligently. It wasn't long before his hands were glass free, cleaned up as not bleeding anymore. Making sure that he was comfortable, the wolf left to gather up the glass on the floor and then went to clean herself up. Thoughts swirled in her mind as she stood in the bathroom. Motto seemed to be so upset by the state she was in...maybe... Maybe it would've been better if he never met her? She caused him so much pain... Why...didn't he just leave her? She...left him, without saying a word and yet...he was here and he bought her...? Was he just that kind or...? His anger kept playing over and over in her mind as well as she started the shower. So much rage and malice...she's never seen anyone so upset in her life. Hopefully...he wouldn't be so upset when he woke... As the water hit her, the wolf started to sing softly; it was a sad song but it helped to relax her as she cleaned herself up. |

When he opened his eyes, Motto initially thought it had been some kind of dream. A throbbing headache and dull stinging in his hands said otherwise. Groaning, Motto slowly sat up and looked down at himself. He was laying on the bed, but he didn’t remember … had he…did they….??? A moment of panic. Motto finished sitting up quickly and felt himself all over. His clothes were still on. Even his shoes. He probably just got tired and passed out. But where was Ylva? Quickly his eyes darted around the room and spotted small details from the night before. Or was it still night? A glance at the window told him it was. “Ylva..” Motto looked toward the washroom. He could smell her and hear her singing as well as the shower running. He felt strange and unsure of himself all of sudden, taking longer than normal to swing his legs to the floor. Gripping the edge of the bed, Motto closed his eyes and tried to remember. The auction, the jerk who kissed her, Ylva kept calling him “Sir”, she puked. They punished her in a room or something.. and tattooed her above her tail. Police officers. Amber eyes opened. Politicians.. all sorts of people had touched her in disgusting ways. His own offending hand squeezed the sheets harder. The shame would have to wait till later. Right now, he needed to figure out how to get her out of this nightmare and then…. punish THEM. He’d gotten pissed. Motto remembered and didn’t care. If he thought about it too much, Motto could easily get worked up again. But he had to wait. Ylva first. He was standing near the washroom door for reasons he wasn’t clear on. Motto lifted his hand to knock and lowered it. Twice. He scared her. He made her cry. “Hey Ylva?” His voice was still a bit huskier than usual. “Are ya ok? It’s Motto.” ![]() |
