Everyone's always telling you to be humble. When was the last time someone told you to be great?

Concealed under the base of a buried statue, a combination of both erosion and excavation has unveiled a secret passageway leading into an ancient courtyard of the Ziggurat. The pathway is extremely dark however, and is likely home to all manner of unseen dangers.

"A word of advice, don't pick this one. There are.. safer paths into the Ziggurat.", said Baghuat to the group. He never found the need to look for treasures on his own. He had his own way of taking advantage of the place. He earned his bread by offering tours to all the obscure entrances. The luck seekers could choose in which they would enter, after which they would get dropped off there. Then the group would leave with a few man less, until they finished a whole round. How that happened is unclear, although archeologists claim it broke down due to the abuse of time.

Despite the amazing craft in the statue, nobody came here to be sightseeing. The actual attraction was beneath it. Right under the base was what looked closer to a black hole than a passageway. Outside of the bit of light shone on the first few centimeters, revealing a descending staircase, not even a glimpse could be caught of what was down below. Even flashlights and other sources of light couldn't illuminate more than the small part it shone on, and that was being optimistic.

There was a reason Baghuat wasn't too keen on this passage.

"If any of you want to go through this way, now is your chance. But again, I do not advise it. And if any of you decide to go anyway. Make sure to stick together." Three of the six decided to heed his advise. They would see what the last entrance had in store for them. As for the other three...
