Ah chance town a place where it looks like world war 95 has happened and caused some buildings to collapse. It certainly looks like a ghost town but don’t be shocked because a group of people still lives here, they’re enjoying their lives in the ruins of this once known amazing place. Famous for its hand crafts of wooden vases and rich agriculture. Don’t worry those things aren’t gone because some of the citizens from the chance town moved to the new village now called Labronya. Over a group of 20-25 families live here and some of them are trying to revive the once famous town that they were in by farming/making their own products to sell to the tourists. It may seem that the village is not that big of a tourist attraction but surely has yet to reach new heights; they do present a very healthy selection of vegetables and even fruits. This place is home to some good dishes for vegan people and meat lovers, if you’re looking for a great pizza then chance town used to make one of the most popular pizzas is this continent. With every villager having their own business and what not this place is slowly but surely going to be popular in no time. But to get here you have to ride a caravan or a car from the chance town itself. I’ll leave you a little note the two places are different from one another because chance town right now is a bit sad compared to the new village that a little far from it. Chance town still host a local business of cabs so if you want to use one then so be it, just gonna say caravan rides are way cheaper (besides horses are cool) So once you get to chance village you’ll probably notice the difference of the people’s mood. Once you do get to the village it’s entirely up to you to go to anywhere you want. Left to you is trade/sale of merchants trying to sell weapons and what not and it seems like some tourists are checking on stuff they are trying to sell. On the right however is a series of stores/restaurants for food like the tasty pizza care called Alipag and then there’s the dreamland for vegans the laygu eatery! Welcome welcome please come here is the first few words you’re about to hear when you set foot in this place, because everyone here is competitively competing to each other for money & fame. People look like your normal poor looking villager while a select few look rather normal so good for you player, have a nice in the village of Labronya! |

Upon finally reaching Chance Town, Roost takes the time to take in its surroundings. The crumbling, decrepit buildings reminded him of his birthplace, Meteor City, though with a much healthier looking populace. The trucker he hitched a ride with only went to Chance Town for its delivery, so Roost would be forced to offer money instead of company to make the rest of his journey to the small town of Labronya, in which his friend, an aspiring Gourmet Hunter, had promised to contain, "the best pizza in the world, absolutely to die for." While Roost was normally not the one to believe such outlandish sentiments, he respected the opinion of this companion he met in the Hunter Exam, and had to make the trip to see what the hype was about. For a moment he debated whether to take a car for the rest of the journey or the caravan, which offered much more affordable prices. He came to the conclusion that while the car would be faster, he also needed to save as much money as possible, for the food, a place to sleep, and inevitably the trip back the next day. Plus he reckoned it would be nice to take in the nice weather while it lasted. Roost walked up to the owner of the caravan service, he was an old, stout man with a thick beard and glazed eyes. "One ticket for Labronya," said Roost. "One or two ways?" grunted the old man. "Two, I should only be staying a night." "If you decide to stay longer, call this number by eleven AM tomorrow morning. If you make my horses walk all that distance and you don't come with me, I am leaving you there." The man handed him a card with the caravan's logo on it and a phone number underneath. "Wow, I didn't expect you guys would have phones out here," Roost replied, immediately regretting his careless words. The man just gave him a vengeful look and told him to get in the back. "Looks like that's one bridge burned.." Roost thought. At first the bumpy ride bothered Roost, but slowly it rocked him to sleep. A kick to the side of the caravan followed by shouting shook him awake and he promptly paid the man for his services. "Remember what I told you, fool," said the old man before getting back on the caravan and riding off. He could be heard muttering to himself angrily as the caravan drifted out of view. "I'm sorry for insulting you, old man." Roost said to himself. He turned around and took in the sights of the Village. Humble, but seemingly in better condition than the town he'd arrived from. He took out his piece of paper and reminded himself of the directions to the fabled pizza restaurant. He took a right on the main street, and headed in its direction. |

Out in the alley can be seen a Girl trying to pass out pamphlets about the pizza café that’s just been built and opened. “Pizza! Pizza! Come here for Pizza!” Eager to gain attention to some tourists the girl would try to pass these papers to anyone that she could find and that’s when this odd looking fellow crossed paths with her “Sir, are you interested for Pizza?” yes you maybe looking for the best pizza in the world but you have to remember that Chance town isn’t that, they’re one of the best in the continent but certainly not thee best. Not having the title of the #1 Pizza in the world is no problem. The point is you came for pizza and the Chance town original just has that, except chance town doesn’t have that said pizza anymore because of the fact that the chef moved to Labronya to start a new life and a new beginning. With the grand opening happening this date it would only make sense for the owner to send one of their workers outside to attract the crowd for their pizza since former tourists from the past probably don’t remember or know that the Ristorante Pizza café moved to another place. If you say yes you’re interested in Pizza then the girl would open the small glass door that looks transparent from the outside. The café looks like it’s painted in sky blue and has a plain simple Sign above it. Once inside the Café the cashier would greet the odd guest with “Welcome to Ristrotante!” It was at this time when the girl would pass out the menu and then find a place for the guess to sit. With an empty round chair/table on the side the girl tells Roost to “Please sit here” The menu contains a few selection of pizza that being barbeque, emperor cheese and the Fravirerko special. The café doesn’t look that crowded and that’s normal since it just opened the lights inside the place are orange in color so while Roost is trying to pick his pizza the girl from earlier would tell him that they have drinks “We have the most common drinks for restaurants, if you ask for anything cornering just tell” With a peaceful charming smile on her face the girl would elegantly glow with energy as she shows happiness to this odd figure of a man with a pure smile. The girl’s appearance isn’t that attractive her hair style is considered normal around here. Her mesmerizing eyes would stand out inside the café, now moving onto her hair description the bangs seems to be covering most of her eye brows while the center of the fore head shows a little hint of skin. She wears a small accessory that being a orange hair pin on the left side of head presents the personality trait of high energy. She does look like an actual with her outfit that consists of a brown sleveless dress that has huge ribbon on the back. A few tourists outside can be seen walking around and the TV on corner top of the ceiling is showing some odd news about the town council being threatened by some evil men an angry reporter is making a fuss on live tv about “Most businesses in Chance town has been shutdown because of this so called mysterious syndicate group and if you ask me they have to be taken down!” Before Roost can even order something a beggar within the age of 5 would pop out of no where then poke this tower of a man and ask him for a "spare change". |

As the Pizza Ristorante came into view, Roost noticed a young girl carrying a stack of pamphlets vying for the attention of people walking the street. Wanting to help encourage her, Roost acted as though he hadn't been already planning to visit the establishment. "Sir, are you interested in Pizza?" she asked, handing him a pamphlet. "Pizza, you say?" Roost said, playing coy. "Hmm, this does sound quite appetizing" he muttered to himself, reading over the pamphlet. "I think I will have some pizza, thank you." he finished before giving her a big smile. The girl opened the door for him and lead him inside. Roost bent over as to avoid hitting his head on the door frame. "Welcome to Ristorante!" exclaimed the cashier, as the girl took him to his table and gave him the menu. Looking over the menu, he listened to the waitress detailing the available drinks, and could hear someone talking passionately about something happening in the town council on the local news, which he mostly tuned out, hoping to enjoy himself thoroughly on this outing. Before Roost could make his order, he felt something poke him, he turned around to see a child at his side, pleading him for some spare change. As Roost was running low on funds, he could only spare about 200 jenni, enough to afford the child some food though. He turned back at the waitress and ordered two beers and the Fravierko special. Thinking he should probably try something unique to the shop. |

Some other costumers would find themselves a bit of uncomfortable staring at this man who is taller than the door itself. Figuring out that judging the guy wouldn’t do the any better the costumers would just ignore it and enjoy the meal while one of them “Shouts, Damn those men!” as he stares at the television. The glass door doesn’t have any sort of bell above it so you can’t really hear if someone is entering or not unless you look at it, that’s where this poor kid wrapped in dirty clothing and nose shattering stench came in only to ask for a spare change to person who attracts him the most and that guy was none other but roost himself. The kid is hungry that’s why he went here the first place to ask for a spare change. Walking down the way with two huge glass of beers on both of her hands the lady waitress spots a child begging for money “Oh no” she says to herself. Quickly rushing towards the boy to prevent from getting the said spare change she would tell him to just sit in the chair beside our protagonist Roost. “I’ll take care of you, so just sit here and don’t you worry” With An act of admirable kindness the lady waitress would present the beer that inside of a mug around the size of a man’s head to Roost’s table. The T.V would continue to talk about the local news in the town/village “This just in, Tom Cruise is dead” A few people would gasps in pure shock as one of the best local dealers in the village has been found dead, but surely this none of the man’s business. Realizing the man was going to give him a pair of change the kid would speak to strange 7 foot man and say “Hey..thank you” with a small smile on his face the lady would walk away while her hands away from the two as she enters the kitchen and wait for the said order. Everything was going smooth and nice until Two Men would enter the store and shout “Where’s the manger?!” their outfit seems odd since the two seems to be wearing a different color of their clothes from one another but it’s nonetheless generally the same. Blue jeans a pair of caps and a long sleeve shirt along with a bandana on their mouth, these men came here to look for trouble! Or probably not… |

Before Roost could hand the beggar boy his money, the waitress told him to take a seat next to Roost. Soon after, the waitress returned with two large steins of beer and Roost's eyes widened in anticipation. As Roost began guzzling beer, one in each hand, he overheard something on the TV about a local shopkeeper who had been found dead. He noticed several patrons were visibly upset, leading Roost to believe he must have been well liked. The child to his side offered a few words of gratitude, likely noticing Roost had intended to give him some money. Roost made a note in his head to offer him the money again after he was finished with his meal. Roost and the boy talked for a bit while he quickly finished off one of the massive beers, (though compared to Roost they looked more reasonable) and things seemed to lighten up a little following the harrowing news from before. Though the nice feeling didn't last long before two men entered the establishment, demanding to see the manager wearing masks. Roost did his best to avoid bringing attention to himself, difficult as that may be, acting calmly and continuing to sip from his beverage. If things got any worse, he planned to dip into cover, using his stealth training to conceal himself and surprise the two with a sneak attack. As he waited for their next move he began scanning his perimeter for any possible corners to hide, knowing too well that he couldn't waste any time, lest he be unprepared when disaster struck. |

Everyone was having fun with their meal and it looks like that lady waitress was about to deliver the Special Pizza that Roost has ordered when all of the sudden a group of two men busted in two the door and demanded to see the manager. She tries to check what is causing all this all commotion about the waitress would go out of the kitchen only to spot these two thugs. They seem to be carrying a gun and that’s very dangerous so the best thing she could think of is try to make a peaceful conversation with them. "Let us Please Settle this in Peaceful Manner i don't like it when we have to result to Violence" The Girl fearlessly said that with her eyes shut in joy and her lips curved with a huge smile. Trying to settle things in a chaotic way would be bad for business and she doesn't anyone in the café to be shot. “Look Missy We asked For the damn manager not a cute chick because you see we are trying to establish a nice business relationship. We own this part of the village have you heard about us?” In an attempt to look intimidating one of the thugs that is wearing color green would pull a gun out of his crotch and then extend it further towards the face of waitress. “Don’t make him pull the trigger” Said the one in red. “Sorry but we don’t want to make business with, thugs… and most importantly you don’t own this vill-” Hearing enough from her the guy in red would wrap his right hand around the girl’s neck and carry her whole body upwards in attempt to choke her out of potentially kill her. The two didn’t notice anyone in particular on the background, there’s no police or what not and everyone seems to be already afraid of them. Roost is nowhere to be found and besides these didn’t notice him shift into his stealth mode. Are You Sure you want to read this?

Roost watched on as the two thugs demanded to see the manager. They claimed to have ownership of this territory and were in the process of extorting the pizzeria under threat of violence. The waitress did her best to calm them down but it was to no avail. Roost thought he saw a smirk come across the waitress' face as they barked their orders, but he must have been mistaken. As the green thug brandished his pistol Roost dipped into the shadows. While he'd prefer to fight them openly, Roost knew his limitations. If the gunmen trained their sights on him he'd likely be doomed as though his nen could protect him from some things, he wasn't strong enough yet to stop a bullet with his aura alone (though his master had dazzled him with such a feat in the past.) The red thug picked up the waitress by the throat, but before Roost could do anything to save her, the assailant was left writhing in pain on the floor, arm broken. Left in a state of shock, not able to believe his eyes, Roost completely lost his momentum and the second thug fired off a round. Hoping to stop anything else from happening, Roost delivered a chop to the back of the assailant's head in an attempt to render them unconscious. "I don't know how much they're paying you, miss, but it isn't enough." Roost joked to the waitress, still having trouble convincing himself that really just happened. It’s quite surprising to find a waitress with this kind of skill; she was able to avoid a bullet by simply stepping to the side. She has not only shown the ability to move fast and break someone’s arm but also great reflexes. Noticing Roost has taken down one of the men the lady would smile and say “Thank you” for helping the café from these thugs, right now it’s unknown of who sent these two men but it should be obvious that they work for someone that’s of higher power. The village is only around a year old and thus they’re a bit vulnerable from syndicates such as this. “And for that my good sir, your pizza is 50% off!” The cashier couldn’t help but reward this man but giving away a pizza for free is too much. The rest of the people in the café would clap their hands and give the two a standing ovation for protecting not only the café but also the civilians on it. While all of this is happening the man with the broken arm would try to sneak away and the waitress would do nothing about because she feels like the man had enough. “My Name, is Kara nice to meet you and you are?” The girl can’t help but introduce herself to this warrior and besides getting a friend or two wouldn’t be bad. “Oh and it looks like your pizza is only a few minutes away from being finished” Well it’s only natural to tell the guy about status of his order. |

The two assailants lay defeated on the ground and the waitress thanked him, promising 50% off of the pizza in return for his help. The room erupted into applause for the two heroes and Roost gave off an embarrassed smile, never receiving such overwhelming praise for his actions before. He was glad to see the other patrons had accepted him now, when his arrival caused them to be on edge before. The waitress then introduced herself as Kara, and asked Roost for his name in return, before mentioning his pizza should be ready soon. He admired the dedication to her work, while at the same time finding her priorities to be a little out of whack. "Who is she?" he wondered. "A martial arts master? An aspiring hunter? Why does she work at a place like this? With skills like that, surely she'd make more money even as a bodyguard." his mind danced from subject to subject before remembering she had asked him for his name. "I'm Roost," he finally responded, having taken a moment to collect himself. "Shouldn't we be questioning this guy? Whoever he works for is likely to just send more, and probably guys tougher than this, too. Or at least more of them" He finished, noticing Kara had been letting him crawl away. The gunman, breathing erratically and smearing blood across the floor slowly turned towards the two with fear in his eyes. Edited by fridaynightpizza, Feb 20 2016, 07:34 PM.
