In the interest of making the Hunter Exam a more worthwhile option, the staff has decided to include a nice bonus to those who decide to take it. Basically, each section of the Hunter Exam now counts as a mission which does not take up a normal slot. The bonus rewards are as follows:

  • Grade 4 Challenge: H-Rank Bonus (+2 SP, 500,000 Jenni, 3 RP)
  • Grade 3 Challenge: H-Rank Bonus (+2 SP, 500,000 Jenni, 3 RP)
  • Grade 2 Challenge: H-Rank Bonus (+2 SP, 500,000 Jenni, 3 RP)
  • Grade 1 Challenge: G-Rank Bonus (+3 SP, 1,000,000 Jenni, 6 RP)

Upon successful completion of a part of the exam this reward will be given, and non-hunters will still be eligible to take part in Missions at the same time. This bonus also signifies the new recommended length for each phase that narrators are advised to follow - in other words Bootcamp will be expected to be as long as an H-rank mission, and narrators will only be permitted to go significantly over if they receive the exam-taker's permission.

Furthermore, if the exam-taker happens to be a non-nen user, the bonus rewards will be changed as follows:

  • Grade 4 Challenge: G-Rank Bonus (+3 SP, 1,000,000 Jenni, 6 RP)
  • Grade 3 Challenge: G-Rank Bonus (+3 SP, 1,000,000 Jenni, 6 RP)
  • Grade 2 Challenge: G-Rank Bonus (+3 SP, 1,000,000 Jenni, 6 RP)
  • Grade 1 Challenge: F-Rank Bonus (+5 SP, 2,500,000 Jenni, 12 RP)

However, a few rules will apply. Most importantly, this only applies to characters that are taking the route of not learning nen at all until after acquiring their license (or at least, the bonus is increased for each phase they pass before learning nen). This means more than just not using nen in the exam itself - the user cannot have access to nen at all in any of their threads until passing in order to acquire the extra bonus for each phase. The user is allowed to have heard of or be aware of nen, but cannot have access to any basic techniques or hatsu. Furthermore, the approximate length for each phase is not changed from the above.
