Removing Technique Name: Shock Immunity Technique Category: Resistance Type: Defensive Range: Self Technique Rank: 6 Description: Due to Aiza's experience catching Staticarp with his bare hands throughout his life, Aiza is naturally immune to the effects of weaker electric charges. Though his hands and arms are the most shock resistant areas of his body. This will not completely protect him in every situation, for instance if somebody tazed Aiza he wouldn't be incapacitated by it and it will not cause his muscles to contract. Bare in mind though, that the heat and and force of electricity can still affect Aiza. Extremely high voltages (And, naturally high level nen abilities that also use electricity) may be able to incapacitate Aiza. Adding Technique Name: Reflexive Control Technique Category: Resistance Type: Defensive Range: Self Technique Rank: 16 Description: Though wrestling large fish is a known sport on Arizu Island, it is usually for a large species of catfish called "Brutefish". Aiza was a different story however. Since he was a boy, instead of fighting Brutefish, Aiza has been wrestling and catching a species of fish called Staticarp with his bare hands. The Staticarp is very similar in appearance to the Brutefish, however, they are also very different. The Staticarp is so named because, due to the presence of the rare, electrically charged ore (Fulmenite) that they congregate at in the few lakes they are found in, their auras are naturally electrically charged. From a young age, fighting these fish forced Aiza's body to adapt to the electrical currents coursing into his body. This naturally conditioned him against the harsh muscle contractions and tetanization that these types of shocks would cause in a normal individual. Through training against these fish frequently and through the use of electrically based nen techniques, Aiza has trained himself to subconsciously react to the electricity a certain way, greatly reducing the negative effects of electricity on his body. This allows his body effectively absorb the shock of a lightning bolt without too much trouble. By default, this training can also apply to other combat situations, allowing Aiza to finely control his bodies reflexes against a variety of impact and vibration based attacks as well mitigating a good deal of damage from each. |
