× General Information
Name: Guy Muspell Gender: Male Age: 19 Height: 189 cm Weight: 82 kg Species: Human Appearance: A man with a strong air of grimness, Guy both bears an imposing stature and clothing matching in style. He usually wears a white hoodie with the hood on under a brown leather vest, trousers also made of brown leather complete with a pair of sturdy marching boots. He tends to cover almost his whole body with bandages, including both of his hands and two thirds of his face, only leaving a single one of his brown eyes visible. Under the clothes and bandages he hides a muscular but disfigured body: practically hairless and its 70 % covered with horrible burnt scars. When his equipment is with him, he usually carries it in dark grey backpack.

Profession: Bounty Hunter, Investigator Reputation: 0 (Rank H)
Background
Birthday: November 5. Personality: A man who considers himself to be a “freak”, in an everyday situation Guy tends to act distantly towards others who are “normal”. This behaviour stems in his belief that ordinary people are superior to him just by being ordinary, however, combined with his looks and unusually hoarse voice – received when the hot air he breathed in damaged his windpipe – it appears a lot more scary than respectful. His condition also makes him rather empathic towards fellow “freaks” or practically anything or anyone misshapen. However, that doesn’t lessen his desire to be cured and be “normal” again. He possesses a thirst for revenge as well as a sense of justice, going to extreme lengths not only to avenge himself and his family but to protect others from similar tragedies as well; he is always quick to jump in when he goes by something he deems unjust but also quick to refuse any gratitude, thinking about it as his duty. Although he doesn’t particularly enjoy fighting, he is ready to resort to it to defend himself or avenge injustice. He prefers to stay cold and calculating, finishing the battle as quickly as he can; however, against opponents he particularly dislikes he tends to lose his temper. That doesn’t make him less observant, but his rage still adds a touch of sadism and cruelty to the cocktail as he starts to enjoy causing pain to his foe. If one can look past the surface of bandages and scars, he can find that deep inside Guy is actually a fairly decent person. Albeit his distant behaviour turns into shyness on personal levels, he actually has a caring side and is a good and loyal friend – if he ever manages to get close to someone, which, being a person who doesn’t open up easily, is a rather hard task for him. Due to the events happened when he was twelve Guy suffers from pyrophobia (an irrational fear of fire, beyond what is considered normal). Origin: - You cannot understand. You can never really understand… Guy Muspell carefully replaced the bandages he lost in the fight, while the Listener watched him in childish awe. After he finished, the scarred man shook his head and repeated his answer again. - You cannot understand. - Why couldn’t I? – the Listener’s question was somewhat obvious to ask, yet it surprised the other man. – Is your suffering any special? - It’s… Well, it’s… - the scarred man threw a glance at his opponent’s lifeless body lying on the ground; then listened around for a few seconds, and finally, he nonchalantly shrugged his shoulders and sat down next to the corpse. – I guess, we have time till the others make it to here… So it’s simpler to tell you the whole story. The Listener grinned. For some reason, even the most silent people told him life stories… And he absolutely loved it.
- Starting at the beginning, I was born in York Shin City, first and only kid of the Blacklist Hunter Loki Muspell. I’d say it wasn’t an ordinary childhood… But, I guess, it kinda was. My father was rather secretive, y’know. Being practically a bounty hunter in a city run by the Mafia, with a wife and a son… That’s easy to understand. We always had money for everything we needed, but his profession, that was a taboo at home. Turned out he still wasn’t secretive enough… The twist in the story came at the time I was twelve. Until then, I lived the life of an ordinary brat with rich parents: good grades at school, tons of friends, toys, free time, made me kinda spoiled, I guess. And then it ended. Brutally. As I said, the old man must have revealed too much about himself… His weaknesses, probably. ‘cause one night some people arrived to deal with him the hard way. I don’t have much to say about that, I barely saw a thing. I woke up, ‘cause I heard some shouting, then some noise of fighting; I saw my father rushing to the front door with guns blazing, saw a bunch of faces, faces of strangers I don’t think I could ever forget, then… Then everything caught fire. They must’ve carried flamethrowers or something like that. I barely had time to get up, and the fire was already spreading in my room with insane speed. I tried to run… somewhere, away from it, I was scared sh*tless like every kid would’ve been in that situation, but I had nowhere to flee, nowhere to hide... In moments everything was covered in flames. And then I… caught fire. No… You can never imagine that agony. And for a twelve-year-old kid, it was hell itself. The police force and the firemen arrived in no time, complete with a few Mafia-employed Hunters, and I was found alive by one of the latters; in less than an hour, I was lying on a hospital bed, receiving VIP-class treatment. It saved my life, I guess. Only the scars were left. Seventy percent of my body surface was roasted and when I asked the docs about completely healing me, that Hunter guy just murmured about some “curse” and stated it’s impossible. And he gave me a roll of bandages. Relatively speaking, I still had luck. By this time, our residence was reduced to ashes. So were my parents. The fire raged on for days, destroying building blocks, claiming dozens of lives. Guess the one starting it cared about everything but collateral damage. My life was burnt to ashes… The Hunter guy, who saved me, took me in. Long story short, he trained me and put me on the job. He encouraged me to create my own way of fighting and I came up with the makeshift hand-to-hand style you’ve just witnessed. Called it Blazing Fist. You think it’s funny? I guess so, too. But since that day, I and fire have a rather… special relationship. And now I’m a manhunter. I track down and punish people. I kill people. People like the ones who started that fire. The ones who are still devoid of scars… They should be protected. I’m already a freak, plain perfect for the job. And you know what? I’m aiming to become a Hunter like my father. That’d grant me more resources to do this task of mine. And also, maybe… maybe, I could find a cure. A cure for my condition. That way, I’d no longer be a freak… I could be a human again, don’t you think?
The Listener didn’t think so. In fact, he had a completely different opinion: that, maybe, it is Guy who is really human. Maybe the ones who started the fire are the real freaks. He would say it so; but the police officers conducting the manhunt were already trampling near, and the story seemed something very personal to him. And the Listener was proud of his discretion. Thus, he just nodded understandingly.

[12/16]Techniques Technique Name: Blazing Fist Technique Category: Martial Arts Type: Supportive Range: Close Technique Rank: 4 Description: A self-created “martial arts” with a fancy name, Blazing Fist is a hand-to-hand combat style which sacrifices grace for brutal efficiency. It is dynamic, fast-paced and somewhat unpredictable, often using a barrage of punches and kicks to ride down the opponent and end the fight as quickly as possible; it also has a knack for insta-kill moves like breaking the opponent’s neck or bashing its head against something hard. These properties grant Blazing Fist great attacking capabilities but its berserker-like focus on offense makes it lacking in terms of defence.
Technique Name: Rushing Dodge Technique Category: Martial Arts; Blazing Fist Type: Defensive Range: N/A Technique Rank: 8 Description: When defence is needed, the Blazing Fist user exerts the flowing attack patterns to perform a dodge without breaking their continuity, usually by leaning out of the attack's trajectory while keeping on moving (for the standing version, see Matrix). The user can dodge practically any attack which are slow enough to be percieved and their trajectory be calculated by him - one or, if the user is fast and lucky enough, maybe two at a time, since more would change the attack patterns too drastically -, although faster ones or the ones with complex trajectory need great Agility to fully avoid. The dodge usually happens in a way to aid the preparation for counter-attack - grabbing and misdirecting the weapon or the body part the opponent attacked with and/or use the dodging movement the move towards its blind side - or, in the case of a ranged attack, dash towards the opponent, closing the gap between it and the fighter.
