[36/45]Techniques Technique Name: Sayafa Abaraqa - Arizu Style Technique Category: Martial Arts Type: Supportive Range: Melee Technique Rank: 24 Description: By merging his knowledge of various sword styles and hand to hand martial arts, combined with his strange choice of weapons, Aiza has developed Sayafa Abaraqa. The sword style utilizes a graceful and fluid move set, to compliment the fact that not only does he use a very unorthodox, awkward weapon, he uses a pair of them to control and manipulate his opponents movement.
Sayafa Abaraqa is derived from and is essentially a modified version of the Arizu style, adapted from Aiza's mastery of the incredibly complex and demanding style. Due to its complexity and the amount of other styles required to master it, many older swordsmen are put off trying to begin learning it from scratch. The aptly named Arizu style was originally developed on the Arizu Isles during a time of great warfare. Due to the Arizu style having been created and refined during wartime in real to-the-death combat, it quickly became an extremely efficient, deadly art, tried and tested on the battlefield. When the Arizu style was first formulated, during the war for the then called "Bloody isles" the Arizu clans forces suddenly increased in strength almost a hundredfold, carving a swathe across the bloody isles and completely dominating the other two, substantially larger and arguably stronger clans. This led to them seizing the island and bringing an immediate end to the war.
During the relatively short peace time, the Arizu clan spent much of their time further developing the style, incorporating useful elements of the Kenshi and Xiphos styles into it also. After yet another war the Arizu style was finally refined to a devastating level and it became what is today. The style mainly revolves around blade control and manipulation of an opponents own movements. Practitioners are usually quite easy to recognize to an experienced swordsman, due to the vicious looking sickle weapons that they utilize, making the manipulation of an enemy blade even more efficient. The mainstay of Arizu style weaponry consists of the Mambele, Shotel, Khopesh, Falx, Falcata, Rhomphaia, Makraka, Scythes and even weapons like the Kama and Kurasigama.
The hand to hand aspect of the Arizu style is heavily influenced by ancient muay thai and silat techniques. Historians are baffled as to how, due to how foreign the Arizu isles are to their native countries and that during the time that this hand to hand styles usage was first documented with the technology available it would have been nigh on impossible for someone to reach the Arizu isles from that distance. The hand to hand elements of the Arizu style are also quite control based and practitioners are taught to disarm opponents with various weapons. It utilizes a vast array of brutal techniques, using the knees, fists, kicks and elbows to deliver crippling blows to various pressure points on the opponents body.
The swordsmanship aspect Sayafa Abaraqa is mainly focused around using the odd shape of Aizas sickle swords, to reach around and in between any defenses an enemy has and to great effect, on the defensive it focuses on threatening his opponents weak spots, opening up defensive gaps in other areas for Aiza to exploit, mainly focusing on disabling limbs the sickle-like shape of the blades also allow him to manipulate enemy weapons a little more than usual while defending possibly even disarming them. Strikes to the neck, legs, arms and more specifically the various tendons around the body are the favored locations to attack.
Sayafa Abaraqa also makes use of flips and other extravagant looking feats of agility, even throwing in kicks every now and again. This is not primarily for offensive purposes but to put pressure on the opponent, giving Aiza time to analyse the situation before attacking a vital area to deal a fatal blow. These type of movements also work well in conjunction with his Void Sparks ability, allowing him to increase his presence by causing sparks of electricity to rage violently around his blades.
Over time Aiza has developed Sayafa Abaraqa into an extremely powerful art. By taking on a special stance, (outstretching his blades/fists at either side and then clashing them together above his head) Aizas strikes begin to leave a trail of afterimages behind them and project a couple of feigned strikes in front of his attacks, for a duration (three subsequent posts after stance is made) making his attack pattern substantially harder to predict. By combining this skill with bursts of speed, Aiza is able to create a multitude of illusions for his opponent to deal with.
Technique Name: Shock Immunity Technique Category: Immunity Type: Defensive Range: Self Technique Rank: 6 Description: Due to Aiza's experience catching Staticarp with his bare hands throughout his life, Aiza is naturally immune to the effects of weaker electric charges. Though his hands and arms are the most shock resistant areas of his body. This will not completely protect him in every situation, for instance if somebody tazed Aiza he wouldn't be incapacitated by it and it will not cause his muscles to contract. Bare in mind though, that the heat and and force of electricity can still affect Aiza. Extremely high voltages (And, naturally high level nen abilities that also use electricity) may be able to incapacitate Aiza.
Technique Name: Zändo'Sha Technique Category: Martial Arts Type: Supportive Range: 5 meters Technique Rank: 8 Description: Zändo'Sha or Dragons Fang, allows Aiza to adjust his footwork and burst at the opponent from a short distance. Due to the drastic change in his footwork, Aiza is able to make some very strange maneuvers then lash out at his opponent, surprising them with a cross shaped slash designed to break an opponents guard and potentially disarm them. This can be quite taxing on his legs if used consecutively, because of the rapid and accurate movement required. Can be devastating if used with Aiza's Sayafa Abaraqa, creating a sort of ghosting effect.

Technique Name: Enlightened Master Technique Category: Martial Arts Type: Passive, Supportive Range: Self Technique Rank: 14 Description: Aiza's almost constant training, mastery of martial arts and meditation has payed off. Aiza is now able to enter a state of mind that is almost akin to a meditative state during a battle. Aiza activates this by closing his eyes for a moment, inhaling through his nose, exhaling out of his mouth and then relaxing his mind. (1 Post) When Aiza reopens his eyes, his perception of the world around him becomes accelerated to the point that, to him, it is as if time has slowed down around him. (For 5 posts) His body becomes essentially autonomous, able to react quickly to the battle on a subconscious level, without having to think about it, thus allowing him to use his conscious thought more that he would be able to ordinarily. This technique is incredibly useful, allowing Aiza to strategize and plan without having to also think about attacking and defending as much. Aiza's movement and form become flawless whilst in this state, his body executing them exactly as they are meant to be performed. Aiza's near emotionless state and seemingly flowing movement is quite intimidating for the opponent and demoralizes them somewhat. After leaving this state, Aiza must recover (1 Post) before being able to use it again, due to his body having been out of control for a while it takes a moment for him to regain control.

Technique Name: Sayafa Abaraqa:Tarazändo'Sha Technique Category: Martial Arts Type: Supportive Range: 8 meters Technique Rank: 20 [Branched from Zando'Sha] Description: Tarazändo'Sha (Ghost Dragons Fang) is a further developed version of the Zando'Sha maneuver allowing him to move slightly further and apply a special effect to the movement. Instead of the usual movement that Zando'Sha provides, Tarazando'Sha carries Aiza a bit further, due to the higher speeds he's moving at. On top of that, Aiza seemingly "ghosts" fading away and then all of a sudden reappearing at the point he moved to, as if he'd teleported from one point to another in an instant. Requires quite a large burst of energy and can only be used a few times consecutively. (Max 3 times consecutively. One use = 1 post cooldown, 2 consecutive uses = 2 posts, 3 consecutive uses = 4 posts)
