× General Information
Name: Brie Wilestar Gender: Female Age: 20 Height: 5'8" Weight: 136 lbs. Species: Human Appearance: Brie relishes in having golden-brown locks of hair that bounce off her shoulders and hang just right in front of her face; her green eyes barely obscured from her seemingly careless bangs. Her physique matches that of someone who spends a lot of time in the water. Well toned and very lean muscles but nowhere even close to representing a "body builder" or "weight lifter". Her choice of element has also meant she has a smattering of freckles across both her face and body, as well as a somewhat tanned olive skin tone.
In her quest for personal growth, Brie's traded in her usual clothing - hoodies, swimsuits, shorts and sneakers - for something with a bit more flair. She now travels around in an outfit acquired under very well intentioned means and befitting someone of her personality: A white crop-top with green and gold straps. Long black gloves fastened up with red straps as well as fur lined gloves for added protection. Green and white shorts with a bit of lining. And calf-length boots with paw-print molded soles. She also has a fluffy black dog's tail attacked to her hip with some sense of autonomy as it seems to move around with a mind of its own. Atop her head rests a lined cap with a pair of usable goggles, as well as a set of dog ears sewn in as well. Though they, too, flinch and react to stimuli just as well as her tail does.

Profession: Grade 4 Hunter Applicant
Background Birthday: February 26th Personality: Brie's curiosity and impulsiveness has a tendency of getting out of hand. She investigates and questions everything with wide eyes, in search of really complex answers to very simple questions. She can be a bit hot-headed and react to situations without thinking them over very rationally which only further gets her into trouble. Her heart is tempered wild and clings to emotions much faster and much stronger than it really should. Her investment in things tends to lead her through emotional phases where she's manic one moment and depressed right afterwards, only for the cycle to repeat itself. She has lulls and a more normalized state, but isn't emotionally intelligent enough to realize what that really means yet. Origin: Born and raised in East Republic of Padokea, a young Wilestar did all she could to avoid a monotonous routine of school and home life. Her school had little in sports and while there was a pool, not much else The Celestial Tower always in eyesight to one side and the ocean to another, Brie was always craving for something adventurous. Something more exciting than worrying about what boys to and not to kiss and if dinner's going to be meatloaf or a casserole. Such a candle wick was lit the day her school took a trip out to the more tourist-friendly part of a country to MarineLand, a marine wildlife entertainment park. Glitzy and glamorous like the penguins in their tuxedos, the park was as much a facade as everywhere else in this part of town but Brie didn't want all that to ruin her fun. The exotic exhibits and spectacular shows and delicious eats were her dreams come true! The fun was about to wrap up, but not until everyone got to see the dolphin show. They shot up hundreds of feet into the air! They could do spins faster than the fastest hurricane! Brie's heart raced in excitement as the trainers rode atop their water mounts and soared into space. The fun and festivities wouldn't last forever though as a crotchety old man stood on his seat and screamed and bemoaned at the spectacle. Many of those around her murmured their disappointment, as if he too was always a part of this show. Always scolding the park for treating dolphins like an attraction and not like people such as you or I. Security escorted him towards the exit but he didn't put up a fight and showed himself out. Brie bounced out the arena and followed the old man, more curious about his side of the story if anything. He huffed and he puffed, but showed a hint of joy that someone in this fake park cared about what he had to say. His name was Jeb and he ran his own little sea park on the far outskirts of town, until upstarts like MarineLand started to spring up and drive businesses like his out. He said that the animals here were kept in captivity like prisoners, swiped away from their families and forced to do cheap parlour tricks and sit in cages only to be looked at. Jeb showed her around the park and on a second look she could see what he meant; all of the animals seemed unhappy in their pens and underwater prisons, but there was nothing an old man and a little girl could do about it. Having gotten through to someone for the first time, Jeb offered to show Brie his own water park. She agreed and as he described it was nothing more than his own house pressed up against the ocean and a simple little dock. He even offered to put on a show that could be seen from a viewing pane underneath his house. It was was nowhere near as elaborate as those at MarineLand. Here, Jeb and his dolphin friend 'Kiko' moved through the ocean, side by side, as one being. Every stroke and movement and jump was done in perfect synchrony. After the performance, Jeb had a single proposition: if she wanted, he would teach Brie. Brie was starstruck. This is what she wanted! Every minute of her free time since then was spent with Jeb, Kiko and learning all she could; how to swim much more efficiently, swimming with Kiko herself, and anything Jeb himself could teach. He pushed her to help out those around her, especially their neighbours who like him were on a bit of the old side. While the rest of her classmates were worrying about what colleges to apply for or who they were going to marry and have kids with, Brie knew exactly what she wanted to do; she would keep studying and learning with Jeb. It was enough that a few neighbours of Jeb's would see her and Kiko perform together. This lasted for a few years until Jeb - who, at this point, was more a parental figure than the Wilestar's - urged Brie to think about her future. That maybe there was more important things in the world going on; that places like MarineLand and others still thrived, that poachers and hunters roamed the lands and seas, that corrupt presidents and governors still held positions of power, that the would could be threatened by something as simple as an Ant. Reluctant to admit it herself, he was right. History: Thread History (Rough Timeline of Brie's History) - The Bottom of the Tower that God Build - 1 SP - 275,000 Jenni - 2 RP

[24/40]Techniques Technique Name: Swimmer's Stand Technique Category: Physical Type: Supportive Range: --- Technique Rank: 8 Description: Give a person a fish and you feed them for a day. Teach Brie Wilestar how to swim and she'll play with fish forever. The water has become a second home to her; she would consider it a first home, but it's difficult to own a house or even sleep underwater. While not at quite superhuman levels of endurance, Brie can hold her breath underwater for several minutes, though she's able to hold it for a little over nine minutes under amazing conditions. Above water, her punches and kicks pack a lot more oomph to them from her body working out in such a non-impact environment for such a long span of her life.
Technique Name: Marine Queen Technique Category: Knowledge/Mental Type: Supportive Range: --- Technique Rank: 8 Description: Where some children had their noses buried in books or their heads up in the clouds, Brie decidedly had her head submerged underwater. Having spent extensive amounts of her life around and interacting with the aquatic life of the world, Brie's developed an expansive knowledge regarding them and their world: eating habits, mating rituals, how big or small a rock they might live under. You ask it, Brie can likely come up with an answer, or at the very least formulate a really educated guess.
Technique Name: Dolphin Kick Technique Category: Physical Type: Offensive/Supportive Range: Leg's Reach Technique Rank: 8 Description: The Dolphin Kick is the light of the ocean and the dark of the land.
Underwater, Brie's body can mimic the fluid swimming motion of a dolphin, with her entire body swivelling and cutting through the water like one of her favorite animals. It allows her to gain an incredible amount of speed for a short amount of time. However, she can do so for a prolonged amount of time at the cost of her own physical detriment.
On land, Brie has tried to apply the same motions to her offensive repertoire. The applications may vary depending on the situation, but the mechanics are essentially the same: they involve the same sort of dolphin-like motion to power her feet and kick someone. The added momentum has the ability to push someone back a short or far distance, depending on the application.
