The three years she has spent as a paranormal hunter has taught her to take everything with a grain of salt. Whenever she encounters new people or is told something, her first inclination is to distrust them/it until she is able to gather information herself. Even when others think they are telling the truth, she knows from experience that they may simply be misinformed (or stupid).
Thanks to her nature, Xandra tries to focus on her duties as a hunter alone and sees anything else as a distraction. She will often look down on those who do not follow this philosophy and will put them in their place if their priorities are not clear. Despite this, she has been known to warm up somewhat to people she sees as talented hard workers worthy of her respect.
[b]Origin[/b]: Xandra was born into a noble family of the Hiwan society twenty four years ago. Hiwan was a primitive place that saw the modern technology which filled outside world as an evil plague and sought to separate themselves from it. As a noble woman, Xandra was considered 'too important' for labor and spent the first few years of her life that way. When she was nine, however, she became curious as to what life was like outside of her home and began to periodically sneak out into the town without supervision- gradually become more and more independent. Though she was eventually discovered, several guards recognized the fact that she was far more physically able than most children age and, fearing that the ever-present threat of foreign slave drivers was becoming greater, decided to secretly train her in combat in hopes that she would one day become a vital asset.
Xandra was seventeen when this was discovered, and it quickly developed into a serious dispute. The guards who trained her were banished from the town and forbidden from ever meeting with her again. Xandra, feeling bitter, realized that she was no longer fit to be a noble and had no desire to continue that life. At the age of nineteen, she was considered to be an adult in her society and left her home to find a new life. Unfortunately, the Hiwan were not known for their hospitality and she was chased for months by men hired by her family.
After surviving almost a year on the streets, Xandra knew that would have to go elsewhere to form a new life for herself and snuck onboard a large trading ship bound for the outside world. Though she managed to find work and housing there, Xandra was still unpleased- knowing that her background meant that she would never be eligible to make it higher than the bottom of society. Eventually, however, she heard tale of the Hunter's Exam, which, if passed, would grant someone incredible benefits. When the exam neared, she decided to quit her job and take it. Xandra quickly discovered just how difficult the test truly was and was nearly overwhelmed but managed to pass regardless.
Upon becoming a hunter, Xandra's struggles were essentially solved and she became an apprentice to the renowned Paranormal Hunter, Danika Mellori. Under Danika's supervision, Xandra learned to utilize nen and decided to follow in her footsteps as a paranormal hunter, traveling the world to uncover and explain supernatural mysteries. Within six months, Xandra had finished her nen training and was left to continue her career alone. Three years have passed since then, and Xandra has grown into an experienced hunter.

[*][color=red]Peppermint Sword[/color] (H): A shortsword crafted from a special hard candy mix, making it as durable and strong as iron.
[*][color=indigo]Hypnotic Umbrella[/color] (H): An umbrella with ancient hieroglyphs on the outside which, when spun, can place a target into an easily suggestive stance open to commands. The target must look at the spinning patterns for a few seconds for it to take effect, and sharp minds can likely shrug it off easily. It is most effective when the target is tired or weary.
[*][color=highlight]Eternal Invisibility Cloak[/color] [color=mediumseagreen](F)[/color]: A cloak made from a special two-sided fabric big enough to fully cover one person of average size, making anything covered by it unable to be seen from the outside even with Gyou. Unlike other Invisibility Cloaks, the invisibility effect is active at all times even when not in use so it does not need to be activated, and it does not fade after a short time.

At all times, she is able to passively sense the location and general movements of those within a twenty meter radius of her. In addition, she can increase the effectiveness of this ability in order to see the aura surrounding her at a more precise level- allowing her to identify unique auras, sense complex movements, read the emotions and intents of others by gazing into their aura, and track the remnants of any aura that someone has left behind up to a day before. Doing this, however, will gradually drain her stamina and can leave her completely exhausted to the point of passing out if maintained for over an hour. She can also expand the range of this ability with similar costs; with the amount of energy it takes directly proportional to how much the range has increased and how long she maintains it for. [b]Conditions[/b]: -Xandra has been rendered blind through her Hatsu in order to improve its effectiveness. -Anything that does not have aura and does not react to aura cannot be sensed, but she can tell if someone is using something like that by the nature of their movements. [b]Range[/b]: 20 meters normally, can be increased indefinitely assuming she has enough stamina to fuel it. [b]Effect[/b]: Does no damage, allows Xandra to sense any aura within range, increases her accuracy by one (unchangeable). [b]Ability Name:[/b] Alter Flow [b]Ability Category:[/b] Specialization [b]Ability Rank[/b]: 3 [b]Description:[/b] Xandra's high familiarity with the natural flow of aura as it exits the body or empowers items has allowed her to manipulate it by infusing her own aura into their bodies while touching them in order to achieve certain effects. For instance, she is able to tell if someone is injured by the way aura escapes their body and alter the flow of aura around the wound to accelerate the healing process. The amount of time it takes to heal varies depending on the nature of the injury- light cuts can take less than a minute while broken bones and severe gashes can take at least an hour. Another application is to disrupt the flow of nen in others so as to prevent them from activating their hatsu, using Shuu, or concentrating aura on the body part affected. Objects or similar things infused with or made up of nen but cannot produce it themselves that are subjected to this ability can be rendered useless unless someone fixes the flow by infusing more nen into it. Aura can only be disrupted this way once every fifteen minutes. [b]Conditions: [/b] -The act of healing is very tiring, an hour of healing is like having gone out and fully exerted herself physically for six hours. She must also be physically touching the wound during this time. -Xandra's ability to heal cannot exceed wounds that are beyond the body's ability to recuperate from naturally, nor can she heal a fatal injury. -Xandra cannot heal her own injuries this way. -A single disruptive blast of Xandra's aura will leave her as tired as she would have been if she had fully exerted herself physically for three hours. -For the disruptive attack to take effect it has to deal damage equal to or bigger than one fourth of the enemy’s aura. -Must use Gyou (at least 60:40) on her hand in order to use the disruption [b]Range[/b]: Touch Range [b]Effect[/b]: Accelerates the healing process so that an injury which would normally take a day to heal can heal in about a minute. It is effective in allowing her to lift and throw opponents far larger and heavier than herself, though, as she discovered early on when she took the exam, the damage it causes the enemy is somewhat minor and is hard to use effectively in real combat.

Things like walking around in a blizzard without a heavy coat are far less problematic for her than other people. This can be a double-edged sword, however, in that Xandra is more susceptible to hotter climates than others.

Then, she fakes again to make the opponent dodge and prepare to counter by standing straight, prompting her to quickly pivot around and jump forward, spinning in mid-air before landing with one foot on her staff as it strikes the ground while the back of the knee of her other leg slams into the opponent’s neck like a hook, dragging them backwards and putting Xandra in control. From this position, she can easily slam the back of the opponent’s head into the ground or place them into a full-body lock by twisting around them.

Background Birthday: September 12th Personality: Xandra is a serious person. The three years she has spent as a paranormal hunter has taught her to take everything with a grain of salt. Whenever she encounters new people or is told something, her first inclination is to distrust them/it until she is able to gather information herself. Even when others think they are telling the truth, she knows from experience that they may simply be misinformed (or stupid). Thanks to her nature, Xandra tries to focus on her duties as a hunter alone and sees anything else as a distraction. She will often look down on those who do not follow this philosophy and will put them in their place if their priorities are not clear. Despite this, she has been known to warm up somewhat to people she sees as talented hard workers worthy of her respect. Origin: Xandra was born into a noble family of the Hiwan society twenty four years ago. Hiwan was a primitive place that saw the modern technology which filled outside world as an evil plague and sought to separate themselves from it. As a noble woman, Xandra was considered 'too important' for labor and spent the first few years of her life that way. When she was nine, however, she became curious as to what life was like outside of her home and began to periodically sneak out into the town without supervision- gradually become more and more independent. Though she was eventually discovered, several guards recognized the fact that she was far more physically able than most children age and, fearing that the ever-present threat of foreign slave drivers was becoming greater, decided to secretly train her in combat in hopes that she would one day become a vital asset. Xandra was seventeen when this was discovered, and it quickly developed into a serious dispute. The guards who trained her were banished from the town and forbidden from ever meeting with her again. Xandra, feeling bitter, realized that she was no longer fit to be a noble and had no desire to continue that life. At the age of nineteen, she was considered to be an adult in her society and left her home to find a new life. Unfortunately, the Hiwan were not known for their hospitality and she was chased for months by men hired by her family. After surviving almost a year on the streets, Xandra knew that would have to go elsewhere to form a new life for herself and snuck onboard a large trading ship bound for the outside world. Though she managed to find work and housing there, Xandra was still unpleased- knowing that her background meant that she would never be eligible to make it higher than the bottom of society. Eventually, however, she heard tale of the Hunter's Exam, which, if passed, would grant someone incredible benefits. When the exam neared, she decided to quit her job and take it. Xandra quickly discovered just how difficult the test truly was and was nearly overwhelmed but managed to pass regardless. Upon becoming a hunter, Xandra's struggles were essentially solved and she became an apprentice to the renowned Paranormal Hunter, Danika Mellori. Under Danika's supervision, Xandra learned to utilize nen and decided to follow in her footsteps as a paranormal hunter, traveling the world to uncover and explain supernatural mysteries. - Fyrebrand Magmawrap: A tool designed by the Fyrebrand Corps for field use using the rare Yoton Magmakelp which grows deep within a certain volcano. The Magmakelp has been woven into a bandage like form as well as treated with special chemicals which cause it to specifically seek out and wrap around a multitude of injuries on the human body. The bandages have been wound into a roll in a mechanical tape dispenser which will release one end of the bandages on the push of a button. Once one end is placed near a wound, the Magmawrap will begin to quickly wrap around it while also applying heat which disinfects and numbs the injury.

- Firecracker: A type of flash grenade created by the Fyrebrand Corps for combat use. It basically consists of a small spherical device that, when thrown, will explode with a bright flash of light to confuse and disorient those that see it. Anyone who sees this flash will suffer -5 Accuracy for two posts.
Dragonbreath Tablet: A consumable that, upon being placed in the mouth and broken by being bitten down on, will allow the user to briefly exhale hot flames at anyone in front of them. By using their lips, the exhaled flames can be condensed into a stronger flamethrower reaching up to six feet in range or widened into a nearly 150 degree arc that covers a wider area before them at the cost of decreased power and range.
Arsenal:- Wooden Stave (H): A 4' wooden staff that Xandra uses as both a walking stick and a deadly weapon. Various symbols from her island society have been carved onto it.
- Ceremonial Dagger (H): A small dagger with a curved blade obtained that Xandra conceals within her clothing. She can draw it to attack an opponent at a moment’s notice.
- Peppermint Sword (H): A shortsword crafted from a special hard candy mix, making it as durable and strong as iron.
- Hypnotic Umbrella (H): An umbrella with ancient hieroglyphs on the outside which, when spun, can place a target into an easily suggestive stance open to commands. The target must look at the spinning patterns for a few seconds for it to take effect, and sharp minds can likely shrug it off easily. It is most effective when the target is tired or weary.
- Eternal Invisibility Cloak (F): A cloak made from a special two-sided fabric big enough to fully cover one person of average size, making anything covered by it unable to be seen from the outside even with Gyou. Unlike other Invisibility Cloaks, the invisibility effect is active at all times even when not in use so it does not need to be activated, and it does not fade after a short time.
- Benz Knife #31 (G): A blade forged by the infamous murder Benny Delon, who was famed for forging a knife after every kill he made, totaling 288. Each blade is engraved with a number and they are all incredibly well made. Very few knives in existence are able to compare with these knives in either sharpness or durability, being able to even be driven into stone without denting.

At all times, she is able to passively sense the location and general movements of those within a twenty meter radius of her. In addition, she can increase the effectiveness of this ability in order to see the aura surrounding her at a more precise level- allowing her to identify unique auras, sense complex movements, read the emotions and intents of others by gazing into their aura, and track the remnants of any aura that someone has left behind up to a day before. Doing this, however, will gradually drain her stamina and can leave her completely exhausted to the point of passing out if maintained for over an hour. She can also expand the range of this ability with similar costs; with the amount of energy it takes directly proportional to how much the range has increased and how long she maintains it for. Conditions: -Xandra has been rendered blind through her Hatsu in order to improve its effectiveness. -Anything that does not have aura and does not react to aura cannot be sensed, but she can tell if someone is using something like that by the nature of their movements. Range: 20 meters normally, can be increased indefinitely assuming she has enough stamina to fuel it. Effect: Does no damage, allows Xandra to sense any aura within range, increases her accuracy by one (unchangeable). The increased version adds another 2 to that (only if she is fighting with something emitting an aura). Cooldown: No immediate cooldown, but requires time (in-RP) to rest if used excessively.
Ability Name: Alter Flow Ability Category: Specialization Ability Rank: 3 Description: Xandra's high familiarity with the natural flow of aura as it exits the body or empowers items has allowed her to manipulate it by infusing her own aura into their bodies while touching them in order to achieve certain effects. For instance, she is able to tell if someone is injured by the way aura escapes their body and alter the flow of aura around the wound to accelerate the healing process. The amount of time it takes to heal varies depending on the nature of the injury- light cuts can take less than a minute while broken bones and severe gashes can take at least an hour. Another application is to disrupt the flow of nen in others so as to prevent them from activating their hatsu, using Shuu, or concentrating aura on the body part affected. Objects or similar things infused with or made up of nen but cannot produce it themselves that are subjected to this ability can be rendered useless unless someone fixes the flow by infusing more nen into it. Aura can only be disrupted this way once every fifteen minutes. Conditions: -The act of healing is very tiring, an hour of healing is like having gone out and fully exerted herself physically for six hours. She must also be physically touching the wound during this time. -Xandra's ability to heal cannot exceed wounds that are beyond the body's ability to recuperate from naturally, nor can she heal a fatal injury. -Xandra cannot heal her own injuries this way. -A single disruptive blast of Xandra's aura will leave her as tired as she would have been if she had fully exerted herself physically for three hours. -For the disruptive attack to take effect it has to deal damage equal to or bigger than one fourth of the enemy’s aura. -Must use Gyou (at least 60:40) on her hand in order to use the disruption Range: Touch Range Effect: Accelerates the healing process so that an injury which would normally take a day to heal can heal in about a minute. In case of a disruption: for one minute (five TP needed to improve by 1 minute) the enemy is unable to start hatsu and it freezes ongoing hatsu (counters stop, manipulated things can't move and so on). It also makes it harder for the enemy to use his aura for defense or to use Shuu (by slowing down the speed at which they can manipulate their aura). Cooldown: The disruption ability has a cooldown time of fifteen minutes (or 4 posts). Basic Nen Techniques× Non-Nen Techniques[43/74 TP] Techniques Technique Name: Hiwan Style Technique Category: Martial Arts Type: Offensive Range: Within arm’s length Technique Rank: 5 Description: Xandra is a master in her homeland’s native martial arts, which is an unarmed style that involves striking the opponent’s weak points with the joints between the metacarpals and the proximal phalanges of her fingers or her elbows or knees very quickly, manipulating their center of gravity in order to easily throw them. It is effective in allowing her to lift and throw opponents far larger and heavier than herself, though, as she discovered early on when she took the exam, the damage it causes the enemy is somewhat minor and is hard to use effectively in real combat.
Technique Name: Cold Resistance Technique Category: Natural Disposition Type: Supportive Range: Self Technique Rank: 7 Description: Xandra’s people, the Hiwan, are born with a higher than normal internal body temperature, giving them a natural resistance to cold temperatures. This makes things like frostbite take much longer to take effect on her or slow her down. Things like walking around in a blizzard without a heavy coat are far less problematic for her than other people. This can be a double-edged sword, however, in that Xandra is more susceptible to hotter climates than others.
Technique Name: Flying Hook Technique Category: Martial Arts Type: Offensive Range: Up to three meters Technique Rank: 7 Description: While in the middle of a fast paced battle with her staff, Xandra fakes with it to make the opponent dodge in a certain way, releasing her weapon and letting it strike the ground in a vertical position. Then, she fakes again to make the opponent dodge and prepare to counter by standing straight, prompting her to quickly pivot around and jump forward, spinning in mid-air before landing with one foot on her staff as it strikes the ground while the back of the knee of her other leg slams into the opponent’s neck like a hook, dragging them backwards and putting Xandra in control. From this position, she can easily slam the back of the opponent’s head into the ground or place them into a full-body lock by twisting around them.
Technique Name: Wooden Bullet Technique Category: Martial Arts- Staff Type: Offensive Range: The length of her staff Technique Rank: 8 Description: Xandra holds her staff horizontally to herself before sliding it forward with blinding speed so that the tip strikes the target directly in front of her like a spear being thrust, dealing blunt damage and then quickly retracts back to its original position. It takes keen eyes to even see what had struck the target.
Technique Name: Reaper’s Sweep Technique Category: Martial Arts- Staff Type: Offensive Range: The length of her staff + 2 meters Technique Rank: 16 Description: Xandra sweeps her staff in front of her, angled slightly downwards while pushing on the air to send a wave of destructive power which deals intense blunt damage to whatever is caught in the way. After travelling forward for 2 meters, the wave strikes the ground with exploding force, creating a 180 degree wide arc of dust clouds from the impact in front of her.
