Profession:Amusement Park General Associate (Currently working for Birch Peak) Reputation: 34 (Rank H)
Background Birthday: 11/25 Personality: To the outwards appearance, one would see him as a guy who is very confident, carrying an air of charisma about himself. Damon is a pretty chill guy, known for his skill and exuberance in his field of work, ready to do pretty much anything anyone requests of him. He is an exceptional worker in that he doesn't complain about anything aloud, can work with and around people, and he knows how to complete just about any task, given he's ever done it before. Damon has an incredible sense of retrospect, in that he can learn how to do something in its whole by failing to do it, and looking at the pieces and parts he could have done to fix it and succeed at the same time. In this it is a trope of his that he never fails a specific task twice. His retrospect is something seen in maybe one in a million people. Because of this, he's well respected within his given profession, though it's not the sort of fame one would expect from a hunter. Just a worker. The retrospect he has comes with a price though. While he seems all cheery and charismatic, he is too focused on all of his failures in life, the missed opportunities, the times he could have had fun and he didn't, all the wrong words said, friends he could have hung out with. It has given him some level of manic depression, centered around anxiety. In this he can be having the time of his life, but for reasons he'd rather not explain he just sort of falls into depression with no warning, or experiences rage. Normally he keeps this under control while on the job, but this kind of thing really gets to him outside of that. Usually the cause of comedy, this can sometimes really strike the mood in the face, causing the 'ridiculousness' reaction of any given character. Another thing he is famous for is disarming a bad situation with minimal tool requirement in seconds. He's sometimes referred to as 'The Handyman' or 'McGuyver' as he can pretty much cleverly rig stuff together to take care of any situation, due to his Low Latent Inhibition. Naturally, this is what pairs with his retrospect to create such a trope like 'Never Fails Twice' since he can remember everything in fine detail. Also, little known fact, he's a skilled practitioner of Fencing and Battoujutsu, which is his main style of combat. Given he ever got his hands on such a tool as a sword. Often he'll use a decent replacement, since he doesn't yet own a weapon like that. Origin: Damon was born in a town near Birch Peak Amusement Park. He was always pretty much just a normal kid throughout all his life. At least, that was what people thought of him. Around age 7, he was shown to have something called Low Latent Inhibition, due to answering questions correctly, but in random order. As soon as he was old enough to consciously remember the past, he attained his personal trope of never failing the same thing twice. Mostly in video games for his early life, he would generally complete even difficult puzzle games in the shortest time of all his friends. However, this was causing him to become something of a video game addict, and in an effort to preserve his ability to enjoy life, his parents desperately tried to get him a new hobby, which lead to him being introduced to fencing around age 11. Damon was a ringer on the fencing mat, once he learned a technique, he could perform it, and he never got something wrong, even without the retrospect helping him out. The kid was a natural, and made tournaments immediately upon being old enough. When he was 12 he won his first fencing tournament. Thinking he could learn to expand his horizons a bit, he moved on to learn Battoujutsu. He definitely was skilled at that as well, however, he was disqualified from a Fencing tournament when he was 14 because he was too skilled, and accidentally broke his opponent's weapon using a Battoujutsu-styled fencing technique, which showed malicious intent, though that wasn't the purpose. Because of this, his parents being like pageant moms, and the general expensiveness of the two styles taking their toll on the wallets of his parents, he was withdrawn from learning the styles. He didn't even get to keep his saber. He spent the next few years living the life of a normal guy. He even went on to become the charismatic, hardworking general worker for the famous amusement park he grew up near. Damon is currently the face of hard work and integrity in his area of work. History: - Spring Event - 3 SP, 500,000 Jenni, 7 RP, 3 Event Tokens
- Must be something in the local pollen, because despite his slight allergies being triggered, some kind of youthful vigor has been unlocked. Sunshine is good for you folks, gives you Vitamin C and stuff. He also made a nice chunk of change in tips recently and had a lot left over. Since he was such a good server, the food critic at the place made sure to leave a good word for him, and even gave him some mysterious currency! What a good month!
- Avalon: Round 1 - 2 SP, 250,000 Jenni, 4 RP
- Due to a terrible water main break, Damon found himself desperately in need of something to do for money for two weeks. This beckoned him to remember the very personally written Arizu Clan invitations he'd always be getting from the prince when he was in his teens. Now that he looked at them, he found that his old talents might be able to fuel him some funding. He showed up, and in the first round, nigh immediately defeated a local early-round veteran of the tournaments. This earned him a little bit of a name for himself in the tournament, and his name finally became an important one. For better or worse, how shall he fare against this new foe, Jah'mir. Hint: Probably not too well by the looks of things.

Lucky as Damon is, his last days in the Park's employment were totally swimming. His pay bonus kicking in just in time, he spent it getting into a local Karaoke competition at a bar, where he blew his competition out of the water. Sadly this damaged his vocal chords, and he wound up needing to spend a couple days off. Because he could not live without working, Damon picked up an under-the-table job at the bar, where he managed to learn to mix drinks like a pro within those days, and once again earned a tip in the form of some strange currency. Funnily enough this does not explain why he can suddenly run faster and lift more. Vitamin C, kids. Great stuff.
Every End - 3 SP, 500,000 Jenny, 8 RP
Meeting with a Crime Hunter, Akio Yamada, Damon finds himself haplessly caught between a mass murderer after his hide, and his job. Without the assistance of Akio's darker personality, Syrus, Damon would likely be dead. Thanks to having that assistance, however, Damon saves his reputation from being scarred by the false charges of mass slaughter, and even bolsters his 'badassitude' with the fact that he defeated a living, breathing, walking black hole monster, which could eat anything even when full. Unfortunately, that was the main event in a very expensive (and supposedly profitable) exhibition of monsters, and thusly Damon was fired for killing rare and dangerous wildlife in the name of safety for the patrons, as it lost the park a metric fuckton of money in refunds and property damages.
Summer Raffle - 3 SP, 7 RP, 7 Event Tokens and Fyrebrand Military Visors (Rank G) In the summer, Damon managed to enter a pair of lottery tickets into a raffle. While the odds were steeply against him, as people from around the world entered, it was his name that was pulled as the winner! This won him a pair of treasured goggles, which see in incredibly trippy visuals, and also got him a few of those strange coins he keeps finding. Not to mention he got even tougher from this for some reason. Vitamin C must be like steroids or something.

[20/23]Techniques Technique Name: Feigned Sheath Technique Category: Swordsmanship Type: Supplementary Range: Close Technique Rank: 1 Description: A very simple technique used when holding a makeshift weapon that doesn't have a sheathe. By holding his hand in a circle, he can slide the weapon between the fingers, making a makeshift sheathe from his hand, allowing him to use battoujutsu with a makeshift weapon.
Technique Name: Battoujutsu Technique Category: Swordsmanship Type: Offensive (Fighting Style) Range: Mid-Range (Weapon Length) Technique Rank: 8 Description: The art of unsheathing one's sword for devastating effect, Battoujutsu, known also as Iaido, though it has no focus on putting the sword back in the sheathe after drawing it. This is a particularly deadly strike, used at the beginning of a fight on the norm. The attack that will result from use of Battoujutsu will devastate a target more than one would expect, usually pairing the draw speed with a step speed, and hip pivot torque.
Technique Name: Fencing Technique Category: Swordsmanship Type: Offensive (Fighting Style) Range: Mid-Range (Weapon Length) Technique Rank: 8 Description: The art of fighting with a weapon in olden times, this style was the catch-all for the style of combat utilized by knights. In this case though, it refers specifically to classical fencing, a style of swordsmanship which is just as much a martial art as it is a sport. Utilizing swords of any sort, though most often epee, foil, and sabers, the user of this style is capable of striking, slashing, stabbing, parrying and riposting, all with keen accuracy. This style uses attacks of efficiency rather than power, which can prove a weakness in some combat situations. Aiming for key points on a foes body, a practiced fencer can strike accurately even in the heat of battle, and quickly.
Technique Name: Skateboarding Technique Category: Maneuverability Type: Offensive-Supplementary Range: Self Technique Rank: 4 Description: As a kid who grew up in the suburbs, Damon has found that a skateboard is the most efficient way to get around in urban areas. He's managed to master the art to appear as a professional in the eyes of even seasoned practitioners, and he can perform just about any trick in the book with the right circumstances. As a side note, he's mastered Skateboarding to the degree where he can maintain combat without leaving the board for more than strategic or aesthetic reasons.
