× General Information Name: Hijuu Yajima Gender: Male Age: 16 Height: 5’11’ Weight: 175 Species: Human Appearance: Yajima puts you in mind of a devilish cat. He has narrow ruby red eyes. His silky, wavy, ruby-colored hair is long and is worn in an artistic, bizarre style. He is very tall and has a boyish build. His skin is cream-colored. He has slim eyebrows. His wardrobe is more of a rebel type of look, with a completely red, black and white color scheme. Image Profession: Black-List Hunters (Upon completion of Hunter Exam) Reputation: 0 (Rank H) Background Backpack × Physical Statistics [0/0] [0/50] Aura: 10 Might: 10 Agility: 10 Endurance: 10 Accuracy: 10 × Nen Techniques Basic Nen Techniques Hatsu Affinity: Manipulation [6/6] [0/0] Hatsu Theme: Kami no Juuryoku General Hatsu Description: Using his Hatsu to manipulate the air around him and others Yajima is able to change gravity upon his opponent or himself by touching specific sections of the body. With doing so Yajima must get close enough to the opponent to touch and alter the gravity around the opponent’s general space. This can also be used on items. (This technique must touch a specific point. So if Yajima is unable to touch this person due to speed then the technique will not work.) General Hatsu Conditions: Conditions upon this Hatsu is that it puts a very large strain on the user’s muscles usually leaving them incapable for about 1 hour depending upon the amount of force used in a fight. If minimal effort is used to weigh down an opponent or himself then he is just left tired. Using any techniques Gyou has to be at least 60-40 using only his left or right index finger to place marks upon the body where force will be applied. Also upon being incapable the user must eat numerous amounts of food mostly meat to build back up the energy that was lost during the fight and two days of being unable to do anything. Hatsu Techniques × Non-Nen Techniques [16/16] Martial Arts [Daitō-ryū Aiki-jūjutsu] Aiki-jūjutsu is a form that can be broken into three styles: Jujutsu (hard/ soft); Aiki no Jutsu (soft); and Aikijujutsu (soft) which is the combination of the former two. Modern Japanese Jujutsu and Aikido both are styles that originate in Aikijujutsu. It emphasizes "an early neutralization of an attack." Like other forms of jujutsu, it emphasizes throwing techniques and joint manipulations to effectively control, subdue, or injure an attacker. Of particular importance is the timing of a defensive technique to either blend or neutralize an incoming attack's effectiveness and use the force of the attacker's movement against them. Daitō-ryū is characterized by ample use of atemi, or the striking of vital areas, in order to set up joint locking or throwing tactics. Techniques |

If there is anything wrong please respond to me. Also, I would like to discuss a system for the gravity usage for Usage or Nen placed into it=Weight of said object or body part. |

Looks like a good app, though could you please copy the information into the clean template available at the bottom of this post for convenience of reading/adjusting? I'm a bit tired to properly talk hatsu right now, but for Oohabana Osu, how about equating the cooldown/side effects to how much might the ability uses. I know (think) it doesn't do any direct damage itself, but you could say that it sends them hurling away with force as if they had been struck by an attack of X Might (that way using it on a massive man and a short woman or small object won’t achieve the same effect). You can set up a chart with different tiers of power (which can be improved by adding TP later) with the cooldown and side effects growing greater the higher the tier. For Juuryoku Ochiru, how long does it last? Do you mean for it to be a sudden technique that briefly activates to quickly stop their movements or more like something that stays on them to slow them down, which could be represented effectively as an agility debuff on the body part(s) effected. Something similar could be done for it too. |

[X/6] should be [6/6] [X/16] should be [16/16] Your general hatsu is not needed to be fill in if you don't want, and the conditions. But if you do want to fill it in, your general hatsu conditions are good, but none of your hatsu has the condition of your general hatsu condition. Your affinity is wrong. It should be like reinforcement emission and that stuff. In your case, Manipulation. Well, that's about it. Edited by Ken sweatshirt, Dec 25 2012, 09:33 AM.

You had a formatting error, but i already edited that for you. For convenience, because not everyone's going to look at the general hats thing. Anyway, i advise against being incapable for 24 hours minimal. Someone attacks you, you use a defensive technique, and then your incapable of fighting, they will still kick your ass. |

If you're not starting as a hunter, you're allowed to start with a Cellphone, a laptop, and a survival kit in your equipment. I know I said to set up tiers for gravity manipulation, but the way you’ve implemented that confuses me a little, what with placing them completely separate from either hatsu. Rather Oohabana Osu and Juuryoku Ochiru seem like their effects are different enough that the same chart could not apply to both of them. For Oohabana Osu, at least, I don’t think there’s any need to say something how much force and weight per pound each level of might is equivalent too since that’s effectively what Might is standing in place of. Just list, in Oohabana’s description, a list of maybe 3 levels that the ability can be used at, each listing a might stat which represents how strong the force you’re sending them back at is and how strong the recoil on him is for each level. Don’t say that it pushes them X distance away or (if it hurts them) does X damage/injures them in a certain way, because that depends on how much force is used, how large the opponent is, where the force was applied, how the opponent reacts, the opponent’s stats, etc. Going from there, is Oohabana an actual attack that hurts them as if they were being punched or does it just push them backwards with said force without actually hurting them (does the bone breaking thing apply to your character or the target)? Previously, I was under the assumption that it didn’t directly hurt them which would increase the force you could use. If the random chance to break a bone thing applies to the target, then that’s not all that workable since that would depend on the target’s stats as well as how much force is used, and is probably best left up to the roleplayer’s discretion. Also, to strengthen your conditions, I suggest you do something like have to place a mark made of aura on the opponent when/where you touch them and, upon using a hatsu that targets the mark, causes it to disappear. Thus, you wouldn’t be able to touch them once and continuously use the same mark. You should also note specifically in Oohabana that the direction it pushes is directly away from your character’s position (since I think that’s what you’re getting at). |

Oohabana is not an attack unles a person was to be pushed into objects or applied with much forc eit is only used to push and opponent away from the user. Henkou Kakkou utilzes Oohabana as a base for an attack. So basically Henkou is the attack which will damage an opponent and Oohabana is used to not only help dislocate bones by the use of his martial arts style but to also finish the move with an attack using the Oohabana as the base still pushing the opponent back. |
