Just a few things off hand these strike me more as enhancement techniques. And all the time based conditions need to be in posts not weeks or days becuase in character time is irrelevant such as in one post u could advance only a few minutes in time or even a few days so thats why its better to do post limits. |

Enchancement? I don't see it. He s giving his nen wind-resistance like a jetplane or making it vibrate like a chainsaw or an earthquake; not just plain making him or his sword faster or stronger. Actually, would it be alright to make Slip apply to more than just air? Like water or the like. The measurements are in posts. The only ones that aren't are indirect conditions that apply long after the duration and cooldown is over like perform a practice swing for every minute active (which would be calc'ed fairly afterwards based on what happened in-char) or being unable to use it for a number of days per kill not prayed for which usually means for the rest of the thread unless it takes place over a number of weeks and even then I doubt I would get away with skipping 4+ days in 1 post just to use it again. Are posts an in-char unit of time in HxH or something? lol =P Edited by Rise, Nov 8 2012, 05:22 PM.

Posts are an in character unit of any Board based rp... as for the hatsus. I guess i can see them as transmutation as for the different types such as water, air, fire ect.. Each should be different hatsus (or upgrade the one you have to include more) as for the indirect conditions i guess they are fine since they don't really affect you directly i guess its ok. |

Why? It's just a ability that reduces drag that air or water naturally creates on moving things, not let him swim through solid walls or earth or anything. Like this. And fire is a reaction, it doesn't have that kind of resistance and even if it did, who would want to run through a pool of fire? Ouch. But fine, I won't add the water part. |

Another approach could be to simply change it to say it reduces friction... that way you don't have to worry about the elemental restrictions or upgrading it each time you want it to include something else. |

For one, I was under the impression that r8 techs could be quite strong compared to normal moves... though maybe 'small lightninbolt, doesn't paint a picture. What I meant was that it did more exploding, impact-like damage like lightning would normally do rather than a pure slashing attack (not that the attack actually causes any sort of explosion, it just has a strong impact). It was meant to refer to the kind of damage it dealt, not how much. |
