Name: Ai Enma Gender: Female Age: 14 Height: 5'1 Weight: 100 lbs Species: Human Appearance: Ai has a small, petite body frame. Pretty, but with a blank emotionless expression on her face. She likes to dress in kimonos or long gowns. Occasionally, she likes to parade around in a school girls uniform. There is an air or nobility around her, and even though her attitude is to be frowned upon, her appearance is somewhat alluring.

Birthday: Jan 10 Personality: Ai comes across as a cold and uncaring individual, however beneath that is a heart of gold. Some might describe her as stoic since she rarely displays any great deal of emotion outside of trusted company. Ai often occupies her free time with reading and contemplating the meaning of life. In conjunction with this hobby of sorts, Ai is surprisingly compassionate for one of noble birth and has no qualms getting her hands dirty with menial but otherwise necessary tasks when the situation calls for it.
Ai is known to possess on occasion a stubborn streak of almost legendary proportion as once she sets her mind to something, almost nothing can sway her. Having been taught the finer points of politics as the heir to her family, Ai can very easily swap between being herself and lady Ai with the former being far more laid back and casual whereas the latter is formal and polite as the situation requires. One trait that is common between both persona's though is her underlying sense of duty to her family which can lead to conflicts of interest that she must bear despite any personal feelings or qualms she may have. She can often be rather sarcastic and possesses a dry sense of humor and wit. She is difficult to provoke thanks to her calm nature and this trait allows her to think logically during tense situations.
What may also come as something of a shock is that her good looks have a tendency to draw in the less desirable of male interaction, and because of this she has a tendency to be slightly distrustful of guys who come up and immediately start flirting with her. Not one to be pushed around, she always asserts her independence and self-confidence in such situations by using witty comments and put downs. Guys usually respond to a bit of negative feedback, but usually not all. In particular, she has difficulty handling them when they are upset, angry or acting flirtatiously towards her. Outside of these conditions though, she can interact with them just fine. Origin: Ai was an only child born to a merchant family in Shibitzu Island. Her parents specialize in trading exotic wares from all around the continent, mostly all are exotic in nature. As a kid, she is amazed by the array of wonderful items that come and go to their shop. As she grew older, her wonderment grew, and with it a new fascination with it came along. How many more undiscovered artifacts or wonders are still waiting to be discovered,and would it be possible for her to be the one to discover them. These were the questions that grew inside of her.
At the age 11, she had read a lot of legend tomes and historical tomes. Mostly from public libraries, and their own little collection of tomes. Gradually her interest grew and grew, soon reading wasn't just enough, it was time for her to do a little exploring.By the age of 12, it was now known that she had nen potential.What type is still uncertain, but she has her eyes set on one. Just around her own town, legend has it that there was once a great master huntsman that had a great artifact.The nature of the artifact was nature based and that it was said to be able to command plants to do it's masters bidding. However, other from that, nothing more is revealed. She had traversed a lot of woods,forest, mountain and caves, which are all scattered around oak town in search for clues.
One day, while using the same mountain trail she had used for hundreds of times, the route collapsed. She fell inside a pit, luckily or unluckily her landing was broke down by a bed of vines, sticky vines with a lot of thorns. To her amazement, the route by the mountain side that she frequently used was once atop a small cave. The cave somehow was hidden from view by a wall of thick vines.From the outside, it looked just like a layer or rocks, but inside, the whole illusion would be broken by the sunlight seeping in from the gap from the wall of vines.
As she ventured inside, she found a small hut, inside was a lot of hunter's implements, skin trophies and a peculiar looking orb. Curious, she reached for it, and when her palm touched the smooth surface of the orb, she felt a sharp pain and and her mind was flooded with weird images. It turned out, that this was the secret lair of the great hunter hunter, and the orb serves as a book of recollection. It wasn't long before she realized that the orb was floating and following her. So she decided to take it home, and make the the cave her secret training place.
Two years passed by and her powers grew. Having realized that she now has the possibility to make her dreams come true, she decides to set off on her own. Bidding her parents goodbye and promising to come back once in a while, she marches off to explore outside her hometown, with hope to find more fascinating and wonderful things that she can share with the world. Hatsu Theme: Plant Manipulation General Hatsu Description: Her ability is to manipulate plants and accelerate their growth. She can enhance dominant traits of plants to a ten fold by infusing them with nen making them efficient tools. She uses them for a variety of uses so her ability can be classified as supportive. General Hatsu Conditions: Although she can use any plants for specific purposes, their are certain breeds that are more efficient than most that is why for certain techniques she brings specific seeds with her so she can use them as mediums.
Hatsu Techniques Technique Name: Lucid Vines Type: Supportive Technique Category: Manipulation Technique Rank: 3 Description: Ai has the ability to manipulate plant life specifically vines. By infusing her aura into plant seeds she can hasten their metabolic growth making them grow at rapid speed. This also gives her the ability to dictate the movement of the plant, giving the perception that she is manipulating the plant. She can use this ability on seeds, making them sprout and grow faster. Conditions: -Must have a medium present specifically a devil vine seed. -The seed must have touched her bare skin before it would germinate. -Germination takes one full post although she doesnt need to be fully concentrated on germinating the seed. -To activate it she must be within 15 meters of the medium. -If the medium goes beyond the 15 meter limit she loses control on the medium and it loses its ability to move. Range: 15 meters. Can increase if upgraded. Effect: Its effects vary, can be used to defend Ai or subdue the enemy. Usually when she uses this ability on the seeds she carries around its for capturing enemies for the seeds she brings are the seeds of a tough vine like plant, strong enough to suspend a 50 ton object in the air without the vine snapping. Offensively it can constrict enemies that it had snared on its vines. And defensively, it can create a sturdy protective wall of vines. On regular plants she can do the same but usually the plants would break so she prefers using the ones the she brings with her. The most excellent method of destroying this vines is by slashing or hacking attacks, specially by nen infused weapons. Cooldown: 3 posts
Technique Name: Bloom Patch Type: Supportive Technique Category: Manipulation Technique Rank: 3 Description: Using her aura on flower seeds in her pouch, she can coax them to grow rapidly and bear flowers even if its not yet the season to bear flowers. Then simultaneously the flowers will bloom sending a fragrant aroma in the air and a showering her in petals. Usually drains a lot of her energy when she uses this ability so she tries to limit it to 2-3 uses a day. Conditions: -Must have a medium present specifically a rose seed. -Must be uninterrupted for at least 2 post so she can grow the seed. -To activate it she must be within reach of the target -This skill can be used on specific targets only. Range:Specific targets only Effect: The aroma of the flowers excites the bodies innate recuperative ability. In short it boosts one's healing factor. It also relaxes the mind and body. One downside though is the recipients of this therapeutic shower of flowers will get so comfy and get drowsy for two post making their accuracy and reflex decrease one stat point. Can be used to heal minor to moderate wounds over a period of time, usually 3 posts before the injury heals. Can be also used to release tension and rage,it gives a soothing aroma to the person it is used on archeological missions she uses this like a repellant so wild animals wouldn't bother her.

Usually a defensive form of fighting arts that uses the force of the enemy against himself. Combined with her knowledge of nen she managed to increase its effects.
Technique Name: Counter strike Technique Category: Hand to Hand combat Type: Defensive Range: Close range, about arms length Technique Rank: 4 Description: An taichi maneuver that allows a person to deflect an incoming attack and use the attackers initial force against himself.
Technique Name: Flowing Strike Technique Category: Hand to Hand combat Type: Offensive Range: Close range, about arms length Technique Rank: 4 Description: She performs a stance which resembles a dance to gain momentum. Then she uses the momentum she gains to deliver a barrage of lighting fast strikes.
Technique Name: Trap making Technique Category: Trap making Type: Defensive, Supportive Range: It is fixed on a point or area where the trap is laid. Technique Rank: 1 Description: Basic ability to create traps. Usually with her steel wires. Can be used to snare enemies or trip them.
Technique Name: Survival Instinct Technique Category: Survival Type: Supportive Range: Self only Technique Rank:1 Description: This gives her uncanny abilities to asses her surroundings and take the best possible action. She uses it to find food, safe place to sleep or travel. It also sometimes warns her if something wrong is about to happen.
