After thirty minutes Gonu had to stop. His temporary master said he had to take an rest for an minute. So they can go and learn advanced techniques! Gonu smiled, that would mean, that he would learn new techniques, He started to relax, going into an ten. Did this mean that he was proud on him? Why did he care, he was just an child that met this guy like an hour or two ago. But he just cared, he did not know why, he just did. After an few minutes, he felt normal again. He then smiled, looking at his temporary master. And then, when he started to talk, he listened to him. He tossed an wooden staff to him. Gonu looked at it, he liked it, he felt like he used it all his life. Even though he knew he was probably very unexperienced, so very bad at tit, but he just felt it. He then got into ren. "Its not like i did not knew you would be able to handle it.", Gonu answered. As he striked his temporary master, aiming at his thigh. He did it as hard and fast as he could on the moment. "Here i go!" (Short, but i don't got much time) |

Placing more of a defensive aura into his arm, he intercepted the attack aimed for his thigh with his fortified arm. The staff collided with his arm and met for a second at they collided, but we easily repelled by Kozen's stronger aura. Oddly enough, the staff was not broken on impact, but had survived without any sort of damage done to it. "There, something special just occurred. But i doubt you can properly see it" He ordered his student to bring about his Ren, he ordered him to focus on examining the wooden staff he was holding with his eyes. If he did it correctly, he would be able to see the way his aura had manifested itself over the object, filling it with Ten, the object was able to use his aura and match Kozen's defense. While other objects would have broken on his arm, the wooden staff remained unbroken and strong. "Focus your aura into your eyes, that is what we call Gyo, with aura in your eyes, youll be able to see things you once missed" (Alright no more short posts after this one, fill them out Kenichi) |

He looked as his temporary master blocked it with his hand, the stick repelled almost immediately, that made Gonu sad, it made him feel weak. Like it was easy to repel when Gonu does something. But then he realized he was not here with an ordinary average joe. He was with an one star hunter. One who wanted to teach him some good things about nen. And when seeing it now, it was like he did something with his nen. Then he said about properly seeing something? What was he talking about? Then he got ordered to put nen in his eyes. So that is what he did, he started to focus nen in his eyes, and then it was like he could see everything. He looked at the stick like he was ordered to do. And he saw an aura over it. Now he finally did one technique, called GYO. "What does this mean", he asked curiously. "I see an aura over this wooden staff.", he then finally said. "Can you do this on an limb to?", he then asked. Knowing he could protect himself better, and attack better if this could. But it probably would not. It would be to good to be true, he sighed. Looking into the eyes of his temporary master. Then he started to act normal again. Looking everywhere, with this new skill called GYO. He saw the world in an new light. He again looked at the staff, and at the aura that surrounded it. He was learning new things now, it was like an new world opened for him. Like the first time he learned nen. |

"Its possible, but its late, You cant expel anymore aura, considering all the training you've been doing, we'll be working backwards if we move any further today." Using his Gyo, Kozen realized that his student, still a child, could not manage much more expensive use of aura. It was clear he was a prodigy, but even though he could use Nen, he was still far from being on the same level as other competent Nen Users. His aura was becoming shaky, awkward with the constant use of Ten and Ren. They would learn over the course of the next few days how to properly increase his aura, but for now they made a good first step. "That technique is called Shu, by applying Ten to an object, it is possible to make it apart of the 'body' thereby giving objects, normally unable to harm someone with a Nen defense, the ability to work on a different level. " Picking up the wooden staff, he invested some of his aura into the wooden staff, shaping his aura around the object and his body with Ten. Twirling it around, he continued maintaining his aura around the weapon and then stopped. "The other technique is called Gyo, where you invest a large portion of your aura into a body part. Using it in your eyes can increase your ability to see aura attacks, or unique phenomenon your eyes cannot see" Shaping the aura on his hands into words, he had spells out "Gyo" with the life energy, hovering right above his fingers like a billboard. "But remember the biggest rule of Nen, if you focus hard enough, your aura will follow. That's how you were able to use Shu and Gyo despite not knowing what it was. This is the greatest strength and weakness of Nen" Taking a deep breath, he decided it would be best to call it a day and allow his apprentice to regain the aura he lost today with rest. Decent training thread, but didn't really seem like a mission to me at all- H-rank or not. It's fine for now, but I recommend taking this 'training' to ordinary threads and then saving the mission parts for challenges or tests Kozen gives him. Rewards:
