I'll take the furs, aluminium (for drinks cans) and 5 workers on state pension for 25 GPT? Deal? I don't need oil, I've been fracking the foundation much to my citizens discontent.

I'm not sure if Feudalism in the traditional sense could work in a modern industrial economy. I would think not. But when you think about it, the way a lot of our businesses are set up reminds me of feudalism. You have the owner, who is the king, then the board of directors which may be seen as upper nobility, all the way down to the regular employees who are the serfs. The analogy isn't perfect, but it is reminiscent of feudalism.

Well if they are illegal Latin american immigrants, working in a grow house or a meat packing plant, then more so. Run away, the police get called in.

Uh... no. What the businesses are doing(hiring illegals) is actually illegal, therefore their calling the cops would be bad for the Businesses not good.

It still happens though. Maybe I got the details wrong, but the illegals are gonna get more trouble than the employers.

Maybe cause they're also breaking the law? Thus the term "illegal". :(

Yeah. The employers have little to lose, they could play innocent, "I was shocked this morning when I found out my employees were illegal immigrants! I went to tell you as soon as I found out, of course they speak very little English..."

No, not all rich people are like that, but some are, and some aren't necessarily rich, either.
