Welfare rules! One of mY best friends is on it!

You dissing them huh?
Yes, yes I am. The Welfare System is the worst thing to happen to this country in the last hundred years. I include Social Security and Medicare in this by the way.

We consider it the best thing ever, despite mismanagement costing us millions a year.

In fact we think the British empire was a fair trade it for it ("Bangladesh for Benefits, Australia for Aspirin" is a good analogy for it)

And yes, that includes conservatives, all you need is to reduce corruption to such a small margin that almost everyone would want it! Housing benefits and child benefits is controversial (mostly due to cheating the system and the strain foreign immigrants puts upon it) but everyone loves everything else!

Yes, fuck the Great Depression, the World Wars, 9/11, the Prohibition, the Cold War and the current economic crisis, they all pale in comparison.

Hah, you forgot the embarrassment post-iraq. And Kennedy getting shot, and the Cuban missile crisis (though those last two could come under "cold war"

Just cause there are greedy people in America not wanting to give those less fortunate a small percentage of your money dosent mean the ideas bad. The only problem here is that eastern European countries in the EU pay less benefit money than us, which is why I think europe should standardise benefits across the union.
Oh and a minority of our own citizens can't be bothered to have jobs, but even that's being controversially sorted.
What we also need is a child benefits cap, at 3 children, once you've replaced yourself and your spouse, and have one more incase the other dosent have a family of their own. Hell even make it 2 children. Im for true equality, not a skewed one either way, with people milking the system or being self centred and not wanting to contribute.
