I'm just curious. These are just the four I know off-hand, I know there are more out there. I use Google Chrome--I converted from Internet Explorer a few months ago and don't have a strong desire to go back (although sometimes flash video gives me problems in Chrome so I'll go back to I.E. to watch videos occasionally). I have friends who swear by Firefox, and back in my college days I used Safari a lot on the school Macs. So what do you use? (If you use more than one, just pick the one you use most often) By the way, anybody here remember Netscape Navigator from the 90s? That was the first web browser I ever used! Remember that little captain's wheel icon? |

As so often, my browser isn't even in your list. I am using Opera for all my internet needs: surfing the web, reading and writing e-mails, reading feeds, watching movies, downloading files and torrents... When I first used Opera, you had to pay for it, and I still have my registration key somewhere in my archives. Nowadays, Opera is free, and in my opinion it's just the perfect browser for all my needs. |

I use Google Chrome mostly.....but I use IE for other things like my other Facebook account and my schoolwork (because my school's website doesn't support Google Chrome) |

I like Firefox because I find that it's reliable. Google Chrome is a nice browser, but on a Mac, it's somewhat buggy. I used to use Safari a lot, but I'm not too impressed with Safari 5. I hope Apple comes out with an update soon. |

Oh yeah, I use Rockmelt nowadays. It is a modded version of Google Chrome that pretty much integrates facebook into the browser. But my favorite part is that on one of the sidebars you can add feeds that tell you when they update. I use it for my YouTube subscriptions and JosefVStalins website. A very good browser overall. It is still in private beta, so you may have trouble getting it unless you personally someone who has it. |
