Hello!

I live outside London (England, not Ontario) , in the county of Surrey. The neighbourhood north a few miles from where I live has suffered really bad from urban decay in recent years, it's gone from affluent suburb to having pornography shot in the multistory car parks.

I assume my move hasn't turned up in this thread yet (too lazy to check), but for my studies, I've moved to Enschede (pretty much on the Dutch-German border).

Or 8K! But our town is a bit less isolated than most American towns. But that may have changed, in recent years loads of housing developments have sprung up, bulldozing the original 1930s constructions (and a few later ones) and replacing them with small houses and flats with little back-garden! A large field next to the A-road also looks prime for development. It's quite sad. My nan gets letters every other week from devlopers wanting to buy her house or half her 80m long garden (the trees at the back of which are protected!

Man, I figured I'd live in one of the smallest places, but with almost 160000, I seemingly have quite a few of you guys beaten.

Go figure, the Netherlands is actually quite densely packed in comparison to most of Europe.

And I probably live in the most crowded area amongst the HoS members, but I can't really tell. Residential areas in government housing estates tend to be pretty crowded in most parts of the world, and I just so happen to live in one of the most densely-packed areas in Singapore, apparently.

160K? thats like fairly big, large town, maybe a city.
I'm not too badly off, ive got towns of 30K and 50K near me, and Croydon with "364,800 Inhabitants" does take the cake being a town rather than a city, but its only 8mi(15KM) from downtown London.
