Seriously, I don't think Iraq is worth all of our troops dying. Yes, after the defeat and death of Saddam Hussein, Iraq was just trying to reestablish a government, but I think our troops have been there long enough. Terrorists of Iraq are killing our troops left and right, and even Iraq's own innocent people are being killed. I seriously think it's time we move our troops out of Iraq and let the government there take care of its own business. Tell me what you think. |

I would imagine that terrorist troops wouldn't just attack the US. They'd most likely go after every country that is allied with us, or at least stayed in Iraq to try and help them rebuild. So it's not just us that would be effected--the UK would likely be affected as well. And if that happens, we simply need to beef up our defenses in the US. The UK would need to beef up thier defenses as well, and probably other countries too. |

This war is useless and if you did not know, the terrorists were not from Iraq ![]() at least 5,000 Americans died and many thousands maimed/wounded. Bush thinks he can create a democratic government in Iraq in like 3 seconds when that wont happen especially when our own is not complete. The war costs us about $2,000,000,000 (two billion) a week. Bush simply took advantage of the fear the people of the U.S. to start this war. Taking Iraqs oil wont help us in any way, we have our own oil and that wont pay off America's debt. |

Yes, the original terrorists were not Iraqi, they were Al Qaida. Osama bin Laden was the leader of the Taliban that attacked our country back 6+ years ago. We've been going after him for a while--I wonder if we ever found him yet. Anyway, the whole Iraqi thing started with us accusing Saddam Hussein of storing WMD's in that country and planning on using them. Then people of Iraq overthrew him, and we arrived to help the new Iraqi president build a government. I'd say this has been going on for the past year or so. Now we know it takes a while to build a government. I really don't know if that was our troops' original purpose of being there, protecting the Iraqi leaders or if it was just a vendetta George Bush had against Hussein. But you're right. I'm thinking our economy has gone down, and this is the primary reason for it. The billions that are spent every month/year, and I really don't know if that's even going to make things better for Iraq or not. Not to mention the Iraqi insurgents are killing our troops right and left, troops from other countries, and even some of their own more innocent citizens. I shouldn't have said 'terrorists', but instead insurgents. That was my bad. |

The US should have never invaded Iraq, now I don't know what should be done. If the troops stay, more of them will die, if they leave there will probably be a war there which would have thousands of victims.

Despite the fact everything that is being done in Iraqi they will never win against terrorism. There will always be terrorists that they cant spot and thats a fact. People can hide it and do it for years without someone catching on. |
