Welcome to Horundul. We hope you enjoy your visit.

Horundul is a free-form fantasy, play-by-post role playing game based around an original world that is developed upon everyday, and has been (forum's age aside) for nearly five years. With a deeply developed story and well thought-out geography and history, Horundul is a world you'll surely want to inhabit.

Be sure to read the rules and browse the references (see the upper left hand corner of the screen). Hope you will join! I'm sure we would enjoy having you.

 Character Template and Rules

Before posting a character, be sure to read up on the History and Lore of Horundul.

All characters should be submitted in the following format:

Directions: Copy and paste this into a new thread in this forum and fill out each form as noted.

[b]Name[/b]: (name of the character)
[b]Age[/b]: (chronological and physical, if you will)
[b]Gender[/b]: (duh)

[b]Description[/b]: (personality, physical appearance, the works; be sure to be descriptive!)

[b]History[/b]: (please be descriptive. Try to keep it at a minimum of two five-sentence paragraphs)


[big][u]Combat Information[/u][/big]

[b]Fighting Style[/b]: (your character's general methods. Include weapons, techniques, etc.)

[b]Strong Techniques[/b]: (these techniques are any finishing move-type, ultra-strong moves that your character knows. This should not be the main part of his/her fighting technique, and should have drawbacks to even out their power. This is not a general area for things your character can do, i.e. lift a full grown cow, but special attacks, like the Kamehameha Wave from DBZ and how it is Goku's signature move.)



Character Application Rules


  2. Back story, physical description, equipment, and fighting style should be well explained and described.
  3. No character copies, whether of another member's character or from media (video games, TV, movies, etc.), are allowed.
  4. Don't post comments on other members' applications. This will immediately result in a warning and the removal of the post.
  5. Characters are approved at the staff's discretion. Do not complain when you can't get your character within the residing staff member's acceptance range.
  6. You should edit your signature after your character is approved to contain a link to the character profile, a list of inventory, and any other information you want. The rest of your signature is up to you.

    Also, if you find that your signature is beginning to grow a bit bigger than you want it to, surround the content of your character information in the [spoiler] tags.
