Horundul is a free-form fantasy, play-by-post role playing game based around an original world that is developed upon everyday, and has been (forum's age aside) for nearly five years. With a deeply developed story and well thought-out geography and history, Horundul is a world you'll surely want to inhabit.

Being Crystalline, his most unusual feature is his visibly Crystai-laden finger and toenails. His wolf-man form has a distinctly canine head, digitigrade feet, gray fur covering his body, and Crystai-laden talons. He has an extensive wardrobe and is fond of silk, often seen wearing robes made of the stuff even in public, but prefers cotton if he's going to work up a sweat or even simply nude if favoring wolf-man form (his fur makes him decent enough). He is not known for wearing armor, a testament to both his skill and ego. As a trademark, he is never seen without his leather collar. Ronald considers himself something of a ladies man, owing to his "animal magnetism" and dashing good looks (for an Eborlan, anyway. Unity has a somewhat different standard of beauty). Being Crystalline, he is understandably spoiled, but he likes to indulge his "feral" side by hunting in the wilderness, training in unarmed combat, and working out his muscles. He likes to think he is sympathetic and possessing of a sense of justice, but it sometimes comes across as "playing to the crowd." History: Ronald was born as seemingly-human as Crystalline get. Around puberty, he notice he became more than simply hairier. It was a while before he learned he could change back to human form, and in the intervening time actually entertained the idea of acting like a dog for the rest of his life. It was an odd phase, ending quite abruptly with his annoyed father threatening to neuter him. Once he got the hang of transforming, Ronald decided this was just the sort of gimmick he needed to become a proper celebrity. Over the years, he has starred in a number of crappy radio plays and movies, released a number of horrible albums, and endorsed countless bland and faulty products. He's also dated women of varying tastes, a couple of which enjoyed keeping him as a pet. In recent years, he's been eschewing civilization in favor of "roughing it," albeit with a ton of portable luxuries backing him up. Tournament fighting has also been his thing, so he's no stranger to combat. However, he has never experienced true war... Special Traits: Being Crystalline, he has the requisite powers, including absorbing magic and powering Crystai technology. While this never comes up in Eborl, the magic-disrupting nature of his claws cause extra damage to magical creatures and allows him to damage otherwise intangible spirits. He can only change forms (both ways) a given number of times a day, determined by how much mana is left in his Crystai, and this resets with the daily recharge. He has been known to involuntarily change during the recharge. While his wolf-man form is almost aesthetic in its difference with his human form (it doesn't make him any stronger or tougher), it does make him more intimidating and changes up his maneuverability and fighting style, allowing him to run on all fours easier, giving him sharp claws and teeth, and increasing his land speed. Combat Information Fighting Style: Ronald specializes in unarmed melee combat, mixing together kickboxing and wrestling. In his human form he tends to keep his opponents at a distance, staying at arms length and then striking hard when he sees an opening. He is also known to improvise weapons in this state. As a wolf-man, he gets up-close and personal, "Going for the jugular," so to speak. He doesn't usually use teeth or claws except to shred clothes and armor for intimidation, but he fights more savagely and ferociously, almost abandoning defense. Strong Techniques: Silver Flash: In wolf-man form, Ronald can discharge energy from his claws. This is a short-range attack, extending about a meter from his claws, but it can strike in 360-degrees. The Silver Flash packs a punch, knocking opponents off their feet and denting armor. Using it drains his mana reserve, often preventing him from transforming until he can recharge.
