Horundul is a free-form fantasy, play-by-post role playing game based around an original world that is developed upon everyday, and has been (forum's age aside) for nearly five years. With a deeply developed story and well thought-out geography and history, Horundul is a world you'll surely want to inhabit.

Okay, maybe she's a little weird, but she's supposed to be your basic fantasy hero. Character Information Name: Amber Powers Age: 24 Gender: Female Description: Amber is tall with an athletic build, wears her blond hair short, and has green eyes. Not well-endowed, her breasts are barely noticeable beneath armor or loose clothing, and she has been mistaken for a faye boy on several occasions. Her armor consists of a chest plate, gauntlets, and boots over a suit of chain mail and a helmet bearing the visage of a wolf. For casual attire, she favors loose slacks and a white button-down shirt, and she's been known to wear dresses, many of which are low-cut, for formal occasions. She also wears a choker with a magical gem that switches to her armor instantly on command. She fights with a broadsword inlayed with a single piece of amber and a circular shield. History: Amber is the offspring of two women who resorted to magical means to produce a child together. Both women became pregnant, giving her sort of a fraternal twin half-sister. As her sister showed little interest in magic or sword fighting, their mothers passed these skills to Amber, one, her "Mother", teaching her swordplay and the other, "Mama", teaching sorcery. She never thought it was weird until she started going to school, where the other kids and even teachers would ask her strange questions about her family life. She was considered something of an oddity, and though she was sometimes teased, mocked, and bullied she never lashed out at the other kids. However, she never passed up a chance to prove herself in fields both masculine and feminine, and even when she fell flat on her face she enjoyed every minute of it. She joined the military when she came of age, and has proven to be an exemplary soldier. Though a capable leader, Amber had no designs on taking on a major command role and has passed up a few promotions. She currently leads a small squad stationed at a base near the Belt of Sola. Combat Information Fighting Style: Amber mainly excels at hand-to-hand combat, preferring to strike and maneuver quickly. She also likes using electrical spells, occasionally cast at a distance but often integrated into her melee techniques. She is capable of using other elements as well as healing, allowing her to change up her style if necessary, but electric gets the most use. Strong Techniques: Sealing Edge: A series of quick, precise strikes, sometimes with magical aid, carves a special rune into the clothes, armor, or even skin of the target without killing them. A follow-up strike with her palm then charges the rune with mana. A moment later, all mana is expelled violently from the target. The target is then rendered unable to cast spells, with barely enough energy to defend themselves, and remains that way until the rune is removed or healed over.
