Is Jacky still running that wine and sushi bar called Pause that he started last year? I know it is a very competitive industry and bars and cafes close down all the time. I thought it would be fun to visit, or at least walk past, even though I don't like wine and my friend hates sushi! ROFL I did a few Google searches but didn't turn it up. Uncle Sam's Bakery Cafe has two locations and a website and is much easier to find. I don't mean I plan to stalk the actual idols, but I thought it would be a nice fangirl thing to do to support their businesses, whether they were hanging around or not. |

According to your translation of the article (on AF) about his opening, it's located in the eastern suburbs of Taipei. Sounds nice? Happy hunting. JUST KIDDING. EDIT: According to a reliable source, Pause is under construction right now so not sure when it will re-open. Edited by DTLCT, October 5, 2009, 6:34 am.

Yeah, I remember when my friend translated that article. I think a lot of the upmarket cafes, bars and nightspots are in the eastern suburbs. I think it would be good if the "reliable source" would mention to the Pause management (LOL) that they should have a website in both Chinese and English coz I think a lot of fans would seek it out if they knew where to find it. I personally think I would be too shy to go in, and anyway I wouldn't expect JK spends all that much time there. And I don't like wine and wine bars. But I'd love to have a look at it, anyway. Thanks, DTLCT, for finding out from the reliable source. Thanks DTLCT for finding out from the reliable source. |

I think it is interesting that former members of Yi Ba San Club are opening businesses. It's a good idea when the entertainment industry can be unreliable and even big stars can have their ups and downs. |
