Posts: 108 Group: Members Member #2 Joined: Mar 13, 2009	Since I was talking about their pairing in the AQMFS sub-forum, just want to take this to another level to add it to the obsession. In AQMFS: They were seniors and juniors at Zhong Nan since Zhe Ming was Lao Bei (Xiao Bei's father) disciple Zhe Ming liked Xiao Bei and has always been protecting her from others since little although it might not be with the best method Zhe Ming was also the one who discovered that she liked Ya Si from the start thus it could be said that he understood her the most of all the guys that she was involved with (since they grew up together after all) Off-screen: They got along fine, not to mention she did give him her Valentine's Day chocolate

Posts: 249 Group: VIPs Member #5 Joined: Mar 15, 2009	I've been watching eps of AQMFS again recently, and it makes me sad. Zheming is portrayed as kind of a noisy, dumb, well meaning idiot, but Yu Rong is so handsome! And I thought he was so loyal and protective of Xiao Bei. There is some genuine chemisty between them when he goes in to make his confession of love, even though she basically doesn't see him in that light, and is only interested in his insights as to which one she is falling for, Richie or Yasi. Actually, Fei Nan Du says early on to the Yasi (Artz) and Richie that although Richie might seem to be the new boyfriend of XB, before long Yasi would be in love with her. So it's kind of a bookend to Zheming's statement.

It was a bit creepy that Zhe Ming and Fei Nan Du could predict it although they are so unlucky in love. (Though Zhe Ming's a bit clueless about how to carry out with his confession and pursue her properly while FND is just pushing his luck.) I think the only time I could almost feel annoyed with Zhe Ming is the part where Zhe Ming was yelling at everyone and defending Qing Kong. I meant of course he would feel loyal to her since she taught him when he was at Neo-Image but what about his friendship with Xiao Bei and Tong Tong? Didn't he remember that QK used to steal XB's design and caused XB a lot of misery? But I still like ZM maybe because it was Ehlo Huang portraying him. I think Ehlo has a knack for comedy since he could exaggerate without being over-killed. I think the Ehlo and Xiao Bei team could work though they could end up being too weird since they are both clueless about certain things, lol. And other times could be causing too much trouble for others with their evilness. (Remember how they were a team in forcing Ya Si to take pictures with Chou Mei? )

Posts: 249 Group: VIPs Member #5 Joined: Mar 15, 2009	I think Zhe Ming is overawed by beautiful 'Sarah'--which is what Qingkong is calling herself when she hides out at the Zhongnan barber shop. At one point when Zheming defends QK, the news about her having stolen Xiao bei's designs hasn't yet come to light. I have always been fascinated by AQMFS, but I'll put the rest of the comment under Dramas-Past because I'm getting away from the topic of Ehlo and Joanne!!

He should know she didn't do it so it has to be QK stealing. (I'm talking about how he gets super defensive when QK wants to leave Neo-Image near the end.) Or is he defedning her and supporting her because they're on the same boat - aka - both got left behind? (QK deserved it though whereas I felt sorry for Zhe Ming.)

Posts: 89 Group: Newbies Member #10 Joined: Jun 5, 2009	i agree that Zhe Ming did not have a very good story arc in AQMFS. Yu Rong is very good at those broad comedy roles with lots of slapstick, but I'm glad he finally was able to play a romantic lead in that Hakka drama he did last year.
