Hey hey hey~ Hey there, kids. Around here, things are supposed to be fun. Let's keep it that way, m'kay? 1.) Don't post a thread unless its for YOUR gym Don't make a thread asking to be a gym leader or applying to be a gym leader. Don't post a thread for your friend's gym. Only gym leaders and E4 members can make threads for their gym or E4 thingy. If its not yours, don't do it. 2.) Apply for a gym/E4 post in the Application thread PLEASE don't post a thread applying for them. We have an application thread for a purpose, not just to look pretty. Use it. 3.) Tiers and You This is a slightly more complicated topic. We like Tiers around here, but its a little different when it comes to your gym. You may have separate tiers for your gym if you'd like, or a mixed team of OU Pokemon and below. No Ubers in mixed teams, sorry. You may not have an all-Uber gym team, either. If you want an all-Uber team, then make different teams for your gym for different Tiers. Simple as that. 4.) Politeness Don't go into someone's thread and start saying that they don't deserve the gym they have. They won it fair and square, therefore they deserve it. 5.) No Hacking. Period. We have a zero-tollerance policy when it comes to hacking your gym or E4 team. If you're found to be hacking, you'll be banned. Simple as that. This needs to be fair for everyone. EV Training is not hacking, children. Its strategy. Play fair to get the gym, or you don't get it. This is POKEMON. Come on. Questions? Comments? Obscene gestures? PM me or another admin. Rules for Gyms Gym leaders will have separate Gym Pokemon to their regular Pokemon, so therefore their Gym Pokemon can be previously trained/evolved. A Gym Leader can use any Pokemon of their Gym's type (no legendaries, no hacked Pokemon). Gym leaders must be very active. Gyms may have up to 8 Pokemon of their gyms type to alternate between. Gym Leaders must keep track of their battles. If you are too lazy to update when you win/lose a battle, your gym will be taken away. IMPORTANT If a trainer beats you and decides to purchase a Pokemon from you for 4 stars, you must trade them the Pokemon. It is a good idea to list which Pokemon you have of your gyms type on your Gym Profile thread. You Gym Profile must include the following: Game name: Friend Code: Gym Type: Badge Given: Wins: Losses: Draws: Badge for winners: (Image here) (Text box here for winners to copy/paste badge) Pokemon available for winners: Battle Record: ----------- For the Battle Record, you must list each battle, win or loss, and what date they were on. Gym Leaders may choose the rules for their gym, however, no 1vs1 battles are allowed. Gym Leaders must accept all challenges unless they have a good reason not to. As a Gym Leader can also be a regular trainer: while you own a Gym, it is considered that you have obtained that Gym's badge. (You of course cannot use Gym Pokemon in regular battles. They are entirely separate.) Gym Leaders receive 2 stars for winning a Gym battle, and 1 star for losing a Gym battle. These stars can be added to your Hokaru trainer stats. Gym Leaders may purchase 1 Pokemon from their Gym prize Pokemon. They must pay 4 stars like everyone else. You may apply for a Gym in this thread. Edited by Sarah, Jul 15 2010, 01:47 AM.
