Slipping into his office quietly she didn't see Warren anywhere, so she moved over to the couch and curled up in the corner of it. She'd not even been in the office that term yet, and her eyes flickered around the room wondering if anything had changed. Yawning she wondered how his first class had gone. Not too well from the rumors, that she somehow had believed, considering some of the things he'd done the previous term. Snuggling deeper into the couch, Stef laid her head on the arm.
Til now I always got by on my own. I never really cared until I met you. alone And now it chills me to the bone. How do I get you?
Warren made his way up from the Pitch mumbling to himself about how irritating kids were and the manners they needed to learn. As he approached his office door he pulled out his wand to unlock it as he reached for the handle and frowned. It was already unlocked...? Had he forgotten? No he never forgot.
Opening the door slowly he pulled held his wand steadily and looked around. Nothing...huh...maybe he did forget. Getting senile in his old age it seemed. Stepping into the room fully he closed the door behind him and slipped his wand into it's holster. Waving his hand he watched as the lights turned on and nearly jumped as he saw someone on his couch. "I should point out that it's not usually the wisest of options to sneak into a paranoid ex-Auror's office, love," he said with a raise of his eyebrow. Of course the fact that he hadn't seen her kind of worried him a bit more than her being there. Falling down on his job it seemed or maybe getting soft...who knew.
A smile appearing on her face as she watched Warren enter the office. Moving more into a sitting position she watched as the lights turned on and he spoke. "Sorry." she replied her eyes twinkling. Well she thought it was cute how he always assumed the worst when things were out of place. She was sure if it happened to her though she'd be terrified. Especially after last term and the death of Piper.
"How was your first class?" she asked softly.

Warren shrugged as he walked over and leaned on his desk. "It was as expected. J.D. caused a scene and broke my chalk board. But nothing I couldn't handle." He unstrapped his wand holster from under his wrist and set it on the desk with his wand still in it. "They spend the class period flying back and forth trying to make goals. Half wish it was football then they really would have been worn out. Do you want a drink?"
Sighing she shook her head, she didn't get what it was the Ravenclaw had against Warren. Perhaps they were too much alike? A smile appearing as he described what they'd been doing in class. "Perhaps I should try that, might give me reason to be a little less cautious and take my hands off of gripping the handle so hard."
Yawning again, she shook her head "No, I think I'm gonna feel waterlogged if I drink much more."

"Gripping the handle?" What? Maybe he was tired. Seeing Stef yawn Warren smirked and walked around his desk to his and opened a drawer to grab some crisps and a small refrigerator for a soda. "Waterlogged? What have you had to drink?" he asked as he walked back over and sat down beside her with a sigh. He felt old and it didn't help that his birthday was coming up. Not that he would tell ANYONE that.
"Yeah, gripping the broomstick handle. I still can't loosen my grip yet." she said laughing lightly. Making a face she nodded, "I think I'm coming down with something I just don't feel myself. I've been drinking all kinds of things, water...tea...juice." Moving a little so he could sit better.

"Well that's easy to fix," Warren said with a smirk. Setting the bag and can down he took her hand and massaged it. "Just think that you're gripping something I know you appreciate very much," he said suggestively with a smirk. He looked at her worriedly as she said she didn't feel herself and brought his hand up to her forehead. "Well you feel alright. I'm sure you're fine. And worrying about it won't make you feel any better."
Giggling at what he said she coughed a little when the giggling scratched her throat. Sinking back into the couch again, she shook her head. "Probably just need to slow down a little bit. After a day or two it'll be gone I'm sure."
