The Grey Lady, otherwise known as Helena Ravenclaw, floated in to the Great Hall to see Peeves picking on the students. "Peeves," she said. "Leave the poor students alone." She fixed him with a glare.

"No...Peeves isn't a ghost, he's a..." he was about to say poltergeist when the little firstie went and said his name. His eyes widening, he gawked at her. What had he done to her? Wincing as she now got wet from the cup, he laughed in spite of himself. Well it had done her right, hadn't it? She was the one who answered Peeves!
Sighing as he now felt water dripping off his hair onto his shoulders, he shook his head. Least it was just water...
Jessabelle saw the Grey Lady float by, well thanks for coming NOW, she thought. She saw that everyone was soaked, and she was just mad! This would be something to tell her mom, but what could she do? Peeves couldn't be held in...all he'd have to do is float through the bars.
Jessabelle had decided to hide under the table until Peeves was gone, because she didn't want anything else to get ruined.
Eric and Jessa He's the head boy, She's the Minister's daughter. Can you say "Perfect Couple"?
Watching the students across the room as Peeves floated over, she laughed outloud. Someone was gonna get wet or dirty or something, and at least this time it wasn't gonna be her for once!
Jumping nearly a foot as she heard a voice behind her she wasn't sure why she'd jumped, since there were so many students around coming in, but she turned around quickly as she recognized the voice almost instantly. "IVAN!" she shrieked. Oops, too loud. "Ivan, oh my goodness!" Lowering her voice quite a bit, she threw her arms around him. She couldn't believe he'd actually came, she'd only hoped he would!
Ivan smiled as he saw TJ turn around and then winced as she said his name way too loudly. He wrapped his arms around her as she hugged him and smiled, "Hi, sweetheart.." Pulling away he looked at her and ran a finger down her cheek, "Surprised?" She should be. He hadn't even been able to see her off onto the train he had been stuck talking to his Uncle about possible changes to how things were done. It wasn't until he got home that he noticed the time and had apparated to his flat to find her gone and her stuff packed. That had hurt and he hadn't expected it to really. Maybe he really did love her after all. No, no maybe about it he just told his Cousin who was higher rank thank him that he wasn't going to do what he asked. That was bound to cause issues though he hadn't mentioned TJ in his reasoning at coming back.
A grin on her face as he'd wrapped his arms around her too, she nodded "Totally, however did you manage it?" Wow the year was gonna be so much better with him there now. Not to mention much more shifty and fun. She had a feeling it wasn't easy for him to get away to do his last year, but she was sure happy he did.
"I knew I could have apparated and waited longer, but...I wanted to take the train at least one last time." she said quietly. She had wished she'd gotten to see him before she'd left but had no idea how long he'd be. Glad that wasn't any longer a worry of having not said goodbye, the grin never faded from her face.
Peeves couldn't stop cackling hilariously as he saw all the kiddies get soaked. They were wet! They were wet! BAAHAAAAA
It was then that he saw the Ravie ghost lady try and tell him what to do. No one told Peeves what to do! He blew a raspberry at her and started floating around her in circles. "What is the birdie house ghost going to do to Peevesy?" NOTHING! BAAHAAA
Humming as she floated along, she'd heard students on the stairs, and wanted to investigate. She thought anyone would be kinder then the ghosts who'd been ignoring her all summer. *sigh* they always ignored her.
Well all but Peeves... Floating along she went through the hall, and sat down next to two girls, well hovered next to them inside the bench.
Gem sighed when Peeves didn't pour the water on her; he poured the water on JD. Hehe. Then Jessabelle went under the table and THERE WAS ANOTHER GHOST. Gemini watched on in fear as the ghosts talked. The new one was nice though, she was telling the mean one to stop. Gemini decided she liked that one.
Then ANOTHER ghost came! Why were there so many? What had they done to deserve being haunted by all these ghosts. The new one sat down right next to her! Gemini screamed out loud. "Ghost!"
Jessabelle looked around under the table, it was comfy under there. Then she saw Myrtle sit down next to Gem, she started laughing. Poking her head out from the table she looked at Myrtle. "Is Peeves gone yet?" She asked, coming out from under the table, her hair was drying but it would look like a mess. She saw how frightened Gem was and petted her hair. "Shh, Gem, the only ghost..or whatever...you have to worry about is Peeves." she explained.
Eric and Jessa He's the head boy, She's the Minister's daughter. Can you say "Perfect Couple"?
Staring at the insanity he'd just walked in on, Eric blinked a couple of times before turning around and walking out of the door of the great hall. He rubbed his eyes and then walked back in. "Nope. Not seeing things." he muttered to himself before sitting next to a younger Hufflepuff. "S'appening?" he asked interestedly, looking at JD.
Hearing the scream coming from the girl next to her, Myrtle gasped and her eyes filled with tears. "Y...you don't have to be so m...m...mean I..." Sniffling "I...if you don't want me here, just..." *sniffle* "Just say so!"
With the crystal tears cascading down her face Myrtle floated away into a corner.
Staring at Myrtle, Eric shook his head and then called over to her "Myrtle? You wanna sit with me?" he nodded to the bench next to him. "I'd like you to be here." he smiled kindly at her, hating to see her cry.
Sniffling again, she peered out at a boy who was now talking to her. Isn't he the Head boy...? Oooo, he was handsome. She liked the idea of him talking to her, but nope she wasn't that easily charmed to come back out.
Nope she was having a good cry and that deserved a bit of time. Shaking her head the tears fell again.

Eyeing the young Hufflepuff again he shook his head he couldn't say much considering he had been the same was as a firstie. "Myrtle how goes it?" he asked as Eric walked up and sat down. Watching as the little ghostie up and floated away crying he shook his head.
"Wanna be wet te?" he asked amused smirking at Eric "I'm sure Peeves could oblige." Wincing as bubbles ruffled his feathers again splattering JD's face with droplets of water. The little owl hooted happily before flying over and landing on Eric's shoulder.
Jessabelle laughed as Bubbles had sprayed JD with water again. She laughed. "I love your owl, JD." She said, then she looked at the other Hufflepuff who sat down, this must have been Eric. "Hello." She greeted, trying to figure out why they never met before. "I'm Jessabelle Leroy, third year." She decided not to say Hufflepuff at the end because it should be obvious with her tie and whatnot.
Eric and Jessa He's the head boy, She's the Minister's daughter. Can you say "Perfect Couple"?
As she peered at him, Eric grinned smoothly and then sighed softly as she didn't come out. His eyes turned to JD at his offer "No thanks. I'm sure Peeves would oblige, but I'd love to keep myself dry." he nodded a little before laughing at Bubbles and then lifting his hand to gently touch Bubbles' head "Hey Bub. Whatcha doing to JD? Hmm?"
Then the girl spoke. "Hey Jessabelle Leroy" Eric nodded to her, smiling "Eric Bailey, Sixth" he nodded. She probably knew him, what with him being head boy and all. "Myrtle? Won't you come and sit with me? Please? Or I might get upset." he looked at her and tilted his head slightly.
Peering out again as she heard the boy speak again. "You mean...you want me to sit with you?" Floating slowly out of her little hiding spot behind the pot of a plant. Eyeing Peeves knowing he was watching her every move and surprised he'd not said anything to her yet.
"You don't have to cry." she said softly, "I'll come out." Poking her transparent finger into the bench a little next to him, she sat a little ways down the bench. She never had been asked to sit with the students, normally she just sat down then got screamed at and hid. "I'll sit a little ways a way so you don't have to be embarrassed about a ghost sitting with you." she said with a sniffle.
Nodding in response to Myrtle, Eric grinned "Of course!" he then tilted his head. "Why are you sitting away, Myrt?" he patted the bench next to him "I'm not embarrassed, join us." he kept trying to persuade her. "You don't wanna sit with the head boy?" he flashed a cheeky grin.
Sniffling again well she had to put up that crying front, everyone expected it! she looked over at him in surprise. Sliding through the bench a little closer, not by much but closer. "I...I've never been asked to before." she replied her see through eyes as big as saucers.
"Aww, Myrt, don't cry." he smiled kindly at her "Don't be silly, come and sit next to me." he shook his head amusedly at her sillyness and then reached over to get some food from the table whilst keeping his eye on Peeves. Tricky little poltergeist he was.
Jessabelle smiled. "Nice to meet you..." She said, thinking for a minute, "Which is odd, with us BOTH being Hufflepuff's and you being a prefect...yet we've never met." She didn't dare mention being Minister's daughter, someone might think she was spoiled and trying to buy friendship...
Jessabelle looked as Myrtle sat down. "Yeah, come and join us." She said smiling, then looking up at Peeves, she wasn't going to fall for his tricks...no more ruined hair! She shot him a glare then turned back to grab and apple. Looking at Gem, who was being surprisingly quiet, she handed her a cupcake. "Want one?" She asked, holding it out for her.
Eric and Jessa He's the head boy, She's the Minister's daughter. Can you say "Perfect Couple"?
"Nice to meet you too" he nodded to her and then grinned. "Well, I'm a busy boy. Being Head Boy isn't easy." he put his head on his hands. "Strangely enough, whilst you might not know me, I know you." he turned to look at her again. He wasn't going to say why, he was sure she'd know though. "Worried about Peeves?" he asked, glancing at him again. Then he leant over the table slightly "Hello" he smiled at the even younger student.
Jessabelle smiled. "Well, that makes sense. She said. *gasp* He knew, hopefully he didn't think she was spoiled... "Well, he ruined my hair, and he's mean!" She said, shooting Peeves another glare. She leaned in closer to Eric and whispered "So you know I'm the Minister's daughter?" She asked, not knowing why she didn't just SAY it.
He smiled and then nodded "Peevesey, you been bad again?" he stuck his tongue out at the ghost, expecting some kind of backlash from that. Then he laughed at Jessabelle's whisper and nodded "Of course." he whispered back. "How do you think I know you? I've been making sure you're safe. It's part of my duties this year" he winked before wiping his hands clean and petting Bubbles again.
Jessabelle smiled, ooh, She thought. Getting protected by the Head Boy. This shall be fun. She nodded, feeling embarrassed at the fact she just didn't SAY it, but oh well. "Good," She said, winking back at him. "well let's not interfere with your duties." She said, nudging him slightly.
