Voletta's father is unknown. I Like... || You love someone because they sing a song only you can understand. Sadly, I have not found that person yet. Personality || Living a life of luxury has given new insight on how beautiful simplicity truly is. From laying underneath a tree and watching the clouds to simply observing everyone in their daily routines. Being of a simple world is beautiful in itself, and being memorized by the wonders of things. Such as watching a caterpillar transform into a butterfly, or watching how graceful a fish can swim. Our world is alive and holds secrets no one has seen yet, but you have to look closely in order to spot it. I do this everyday, which is why most students or teachers cannot find me unless they truly know me. With this being said, many find me mysterious and very alluring. Why? Even I do not know. I usually keep to myself and merely listen to others as they speak. I do, however, sing and dance at school celebrations if requested. Being part Veela, I do have certain abilities that others do not. No, when I am angry I do not turn into a Harpy like my mother. When angry I am quite frightening but it is very, very rare. Most students see me as a very down to earth, sweet Professor who enjoys teaching. And yes, I do enjoy teaching. Showing the students what I know and how wonderful learning can be is something I hold dear, and it makes me smile when I see my students enjoying themselves as well. Out of the classroom, I pick on a few students jokingly as well as a few fellow Staff members. It helps me get closer to others and mainly become someone people know they can come too..If they need more or can find me. I do make my appearance in the Great Hall when we are all eating and I leave when I am not needed. Being the Professor of Astronomy, my classes are held at midnight which means I have a lot of free time. What I do with that time is something everyone is going to have to find out. My History || Ghislaine Sigourney, a beautiful name for a mysterious girl. I was born in the region Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur, I grew up a rather..interesting life. My mother is a Veela, whom fell in love with an American Wizard who had studied and went to Hogwarts. They both gave me a French name, and I soon developed a French accent while I was growing. I knew I was different as I became older, and my parents taught me magic in secret as preparations for when I became of age to enter Beauxbatons Academy of Magic. Of course until then I went to a muggle school, which I must admit was highly entertaining. During elementary school I began developing a love for singing and dancing, which me and my mother knew came from what she was. Since I was half Veela, though, I only got a portion of the whole deal. Which I didn't mind, for whenever she grew angry and turned into a raging Harpy, I was glad I couldn't do that. Oh lovely time wore on and my father made sure that I received good education and a well kept identity, and he made sure that my head was on right. He taught me that although we were more advanced than muggles, that we should respect them the same way. My mother agreed, to a certain extent. Upon reaching the age of Eleven I was sent an invitation to join the Beauxbatons Academy of Magic, and my parents took me to finally get my official supplies. My parents created for me a wand, the core being of my mother's hair. We then received my very special owl, which was (and still is) a Barnowl named Celescent. A few days later, I was off to the academy. Life was nice there, strict as well. I was treated much like a Princess, living a life of luxury and the finest of delicacies. It was nice, yet it also made me appreciate the more simple things in life. Some of the females though were much too snooty. Perhaps because of this, it reveals why I am so patient and understanding. But I did do a few things to shut a few of them up. Within a few years of putting a few girls in place and being kind to many, I became very popular. My friends gave me the nickname Pansy because of how thoughtful I was, and how much I enjoyed dreaming. I sang and danced as hobbies, and performed in front of the school for special events when asked. My magic soon developed as well, and I believe that it is slightly stronger than most only because of what I am. I do not use magic, unless needed though, and I've learned to help those beneath me and the first years. Upon graduation from Beauxbatons I found myself getting advanced studies in Astronomy, which was what I enjoyed back at the Academy. Excelling far beyond others in both the Muggle World and the Wizarding World, I soon noticed that Hogwars needed a Professor. I was accepted as a Professor at the age of Twenty Three and in my first year I was asked to become Head of Gryffindor, which I accepted. I am now in my second year teaching at Hogwarts and I find everything I do enjoyable. I am a very easy-going teacher whom is close to the students, for I am a motherly person. With the fellow Professors, I have no problem with any of them and I usually chat and such. All-in-all I simply keep to myself unless summoned for help and I watch over the Gryffindors, as well as the other students. Year/Position || Professor of Astronomy ; Head of Gryffindor Appearance || Of the stars. Other || My biggest fear is never finding true love. And I am considered a very dangerous witch.
