i noticed the clan only has 38 members at the moment. for those of you who remember we used to have 100 (thanks to godofwar). i know some old members are going to return, but i was thinking we should set a day where we all get on and recruit some members. hopefully some time in the near future. post when you will be available to recruit and if we're lucky we will find a day and time where everyone can get on and recruit. Radius has told me if you're on warcraft he'd love it if you could recruit, but don't fell pressured to. it's completely up to you. so feel free to try and get a few new members here and there.

Okay, this is a large problem that I believe we need to address. The last clan did not do well because we recruited too fast and did not take the qualifications of the members into mind. For the clan, we want only active Warcraft 3 players, avid map makers, and forum regulars (or at least light participants and certainly registered members.) We don't want to waste a bunch of much-wanted clan postitions on those who will be inactive in the clan. Also, the attitude and respect of the member needs to be questioned before they are allowed to join.

I can't agree more. We need to have an interview process put in the main office forum. It needs to be stickied as well. I think the person interviewing the recruitee needs to take a screenshot of the conversation.

Hmm, well there shouldn't be any members on the forums that aren't in the clan.... I think if we interview them, there should be a set list of questions and things that Radius has and asks the prospective member. We shouldn't be focused on simply recruiting to raise our member count.

Agreed again. I meant that above too. There needs to be a set questions of interviewing.

i was thinking along the lines of raising our member count and then weeding out the people who aren't active. i didn't necessarily want to bring it to the max, but just to have a decent amount of members with some space left. that way people who will be serious can join. i think the whole interview process may take a while especially because Radius can't be on all the time.

nofearkid009, stop the quoting. You don't have to quote unless it is necessary.

I would like to start getting some recruits from the clan pretty soon. Although, I am mainly just focused on getting all the old members back. I like the suggestion for the set of questions I could ask the people before they join. I might create a list of questions to ask the person before he or she joins.

And the_uber_pwnz, your totally right. I do not really expect to much out of my members besides having a potential to learn how to map make or just somehow contribute to map making. I also like active members and polite members. About interviewing, I think that might be out of the question... especially the whole idea about taking screen shots. ^o) I think a certain amount of questions to ask the person though is a great idea.

Radius, you took the words right out of my mouth with the quoting thing. I had planned to say something to him about that, but I didn't want to be mean. Here's probably a pretty good rule: Don't quote a post if it is directly previous to yours, it is implied that this is the one that you are answering unless you quote another post and address that one. Thanks for the acknowledging the list idea! :)
