Healing Wounds was created 2 yrs ago by myself. I felt the need to help other survivors in their healing process, being a survivor myself- I felt this would also help my healing reaching out. The site however used to have 500+ member's but the site was moved twice and I felt it over-whelming to pre-register all of the past members. But Im ok with that as I know this place will grow again. This forum is dedicated to asll survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, rape and child abuse. We also welcome supporters who would like to reach out and secondary survivors. Posts and content on this forum can be extremely triggering so I ask those who have dealt with trauma be cautious while reading. This is a safe supportive community, and is extremely protected, meaning that if I think there is anyone seeking out the forums for any wrong doing will be banned. Also if anyone feels uncomfortable with lurking member's those member's will also be gone. This type of place needs to remain a safe haven, that's important to me.
