Rules, Guidelines, and Etiquette: Please take the time to read the rules for Haven as they may differ from those of other role playing boards. Continuous failure to follow board rules will result in the deletion of your account. General Etiquette: - Be respectful to all members of the board. - No bashing or name calling. - Refrain from chat talk such as: "Wuz up with u? How r u?" Spell out your words. - No spamming or unwanted advertising. Accounts: Only 1 account per member, unless you have permission to create a second account. Any additional unauthorized accounts found will be deleted without warning. User Names: When registering a username please make it the first and last name of whatever character you will be playing in the game. No generic names like "Amanda Smith" for this rpg, it should be a combination of fantasy/sci-fi. Activity: After you have joined the board and your character application was accepted, you are expected to remain active. If you are going to be away for more than 5 days please make a post in the Leave of Absence topic. Out Of Character Posts: Please do not post Out Of Character in your role play posts. If you want to say something to a member do so through Private Messaging, Plot Planning, or in an Off Topic board. Any OOC remarks found in your role playing posts will be deleted. Language: Only mild swearing is allowed. Sexual Content: Any role play which goes beyond a typical PG-13 rating must end in a scene fade out. Basically you can get a little physical but spare us the details, we get the picture, end it there. Because sexual content is not allowed here. Any explicit content will be deleted. Along with account suspension or deletion. Violence: Some violence may arise, but do not make it over the top gory and disturbing. Copyright Material: All posts, character applications, members graphics are copyright material of their original owners, and are not to be used or borrowed outside of this board without the permission of the owners. Avatars: Avatars are pictures which will be used to represent what your character looks like. Avatars must be a photo of a person or celebrity, such as an actor/actress, or musician, or model. No objects, animations, logos, cartoons, or anime allowed as character avatars. You will not be able to change your character's appearance after you begin to play so make sure you pick a celebrity look for your character which you will be happy with. The 120w x 150h pixel image should be .jpg or .gif and of good quality. If you are not able to make the avatar yourself, please include a link to an image you would like to use and an avatar will be made for you. You must have an avatar before you can start to rp. After your application is accepted, you have a 2 day grace period to change to a different avatar identity. Signatures: Images no larger than 400w x 100h px. No more than 5 lines of text. |
