Part 1. Seridia's Fate: "Keydren's forces of darkness were to strong for us to defeat him. We had no choice but to flee our home planet of Seridia. Seridia was once a beautiful sanctuary, governed by the tranquil serenity of my people. And now I can only imagine the kinds of torture it has to endure as Keyden drains her every ounce of vital energy. As she dies so will all the living creatures and flora. With her final breath Seridia will turn to dust and ash." Part 2. The Escape: "With our force field demolished we had to flee the station. We had a total of twenty ships, each able to carry two hundred people. The Guardians fought Keydren's army desperately, hoping we could safely make it out of his orbiting warships. Only fourteen of the twenty ships were able to escape, we lost contact with the other six ships." Part 3. The Journey: "We all know there is no hope of ever going back to Seridia. She can not be saved. During the limited time the council had before the attacks began, they discussed a plan to find a new home, dimensions and universes away. The chance of Keydren venturing that far would be unlikely since his existence is bound to the Nexus. We traveled the systems looking for any sign of a planet we would be able to survive on. The days we spent on the ship, grew into months, and eventually years. Four years to be exact. My people began to loose hope, but the Analysts and Surveyors along with Council members tried to reassure us that we would once again find a home." Part 3. The Discovery: "I write today because I can't believe my eyes! The Analysts have found a planet. From the photos they captured, she is absolutely beautiful. I've been trying to find out what the Guild of Analysts and Surveyors are saying regarding the issue of hostile life, but there has been no word as of yet." "We are approaching with caution now, but keeping our distance. A small surveyor ship has been released to go in first. We have gotten reports that they are currently in orbit. They say there is evidence of a once great civilization all over the planet. But there is no one to be seen! As if the inhabitants simply vanished! They say large creatures roam the planet and that the people who used to live there were even bigger! Like giants form fairy tales. I'm so nervous but also happy. I hope we can settle here. Apparently the atmosphere is practically the same as on Seridia. There are differences in the energy though, which some worry may be an issue." |
