You'll notice a few differences in this months Snidget. First you'll notice that ther are no Fun Facts in the Admin column, secondly you'll see that the quizzes are also missing. Rest assured they will return! These unknown circumstances called Real Life and Technical Circumstances have caused such a delay and though we regret to dissapoint anyone we are sure you all understand. In addition to Real life circumstances it is with much sadness that we must pat with are current Horoscopes writer Pete (faraway). He has meant a lot to us and we will be sad to see him go. If you or anyone you know is interested in taking up the position of reading tea leaves, and stars be sure to send a PM to either LostInPotter or HPSnidget
In addition to all of the above we at the HPSnidget would like to give Lillibeth a round of applause for HPSurvivors first ever Hogsmeade Weekend! As many, if not all of us on staff at the Snidget either Dueled, Chessed and/or Jeapordyed we have much appreciation for what went down behind the scenes to prepare for such an event. A special congratulations goes to Sam for winning the most recent HPSurvivor game in Beyond Ordinary (Moderated by Greeney). To read all about the game be sure to visit our golden article Golden Article written by Pete. Don't stop there! Megan has provided us with a wonderful interview including both the winner and runner up of Beyond Ordinary. With one game ending there is obviously another one starting so run off to the Admin article to find out all about how you can sign up with the chance of being the proud owner of your very own Merlin's Memorial.
Retraction: We would like to apologize for the mistake made in last issue. Sam is currently in Hufflepuff, in addition Puchula has returned to her roots in Ravenclaw. The point system has also changed for the HPS House Cup and regret to say that our information was incorrect last month. Another month, another Issue and HPSnidget would like everyone to welcome yet another member of our team. Pete (Otherwise known as Faraway) has agreed to join us. He will be using his expertise in divination to produce horoscopes worth top marks. He has even agreed to write up a bit here or there on the Beyond Ordinary game while it's still in progress. Which as you will see once you begin to read this months issue is being featured as our Golden Article (other wise known as the front page). Do be sure to read and likewise comment on anything you see fit.
In other news HPSnidget would like to remind you of the House Cup - Year 3 that Lillibeth has so graciously put together for HPSurvivor. For those of you who may not have participated in last "year's" House Cup, you have the opportunity to win your respective house points on many of our pages. Visit the "Caption Contest" if you're feeling funny. Think you have a knack for puzzles? Head over to the "Riddle Me This" section. Never give up! Who knows what anyone else has sent in. GOOD LUCK!

This month HPSnidget brings you yet another riveting expose just in time for the snow to fall. Ever wondered what your favorite Admin were doing the winter holidays? Our very own Kate went out on the scene to get you the scoop.
In addition as you all know this past issues Riddles and Captions were the last to be added onto the most recent House Cup going on now. I still encourage you to attempt the Riddles this month as it will be Kate's last month to be producing Riddles. Starting the new year you will be a seeing a new and fresh Snidget. Complete with new staff, and a new location and layout! So Happy Holidays to everyone, and a Happy New year!

Here at the HPSnidget it is with great regret that we must inform you two of our valued writers have had to leave us for the annoying little thing called real life. Sana (Potter101) who was very skilled with the planets, and Debbie (Miss_Gaunt) who was second to none when it came to those stats. They will be greatly missed.
On a brighter note, the holiday season is upon us so be sure to look around HPSurvivor for fun and festive holiday excitement. What ever it is that you celebrate this season HPS wants to embrace that! If you have any great ideas, please don't hesitate to contact myself or anyone else you may feel comfortable with.
And for those who are celebrating it, have a Happy Thanksgiving this month!!!

That can only mean one thing... Halloween is coming!! Get out the witches hats, and the trick or treat bag folks! If you aren't the type to go out on Halloween, perhaps you could take the time to get updated on your Snidget knowledge.
This months issue is showcasing everything to do with the Snidget itself. Why do you ask? Well it's our 1 year anniversary that's why!! *waits for applause to end* I would really encourage you to take the time and read all that we have to offer you. There are so many great people that take time out of their hectic schedule to bring this to you. Be sure to show them your love.
Lastly I encourage you to participate in the riddles, and caption contest for House Points. Ravenclaw won 70 points, because 1 person took 5 minutes of their time to send in a few captions. I know as a fellow Gryffindor I'm not going to let that happen again! Who's with me?!

Better late than never! We have finally returned after the release of the seventh book from heaven! Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows is now out!
Before you open us this issue of the Snidget, however, beware! We have spoilers inside! All pages with spoilers are marked on the Table of Contents. If you have not yet read DH do not go to these pages!
With that out of the way, enjoy our tenth issue!

Alas, this is the last issue of HPSnidget! Pre-DH that is, don't panic! We shall not be producing a July issue, to give the staff a month off before we come back stronger than ever in August with a new Deathly Hallows issue, complete with:
- An Editorial from the renowned Princess of Coasters!
- A Much-Anticipated Exposé
- A short excerpt from the Prophecy Crew
- Lots of Deathly Hallows content, and probably lots of I Told You So's!

A new season of Quidditch is beginning! HPSurvivor Admin, Game Mod and Creator, Ari has just started a new game, his first since the original two began the site. Our first house cup is ending soon, with a new one in the works. And we have people coming in droves to play a 4th rendition of Harry Potter Mafia!!! 
Oh My.
HPSurvivor is growing, and booming all over the place and it's thanks to everyone who takes the time to participate, to stay active, and to make the board what it is today. In honor of it all we're going to be taking a trip down memory lane. In Ari's Fun Facts over the next few months you will all get a chance to see just what was going on in that head of his when he created our site. Don't say I didn't warn ya.

With Family War finished, and War II finally coming to an end the awards will be flowing. Some will be receiving their first, others their fourth. To learn more about who got which award check out our Stats section and/or the Golden Article. The Snidget also has some inside information about the awards themselves. From what we know they may be getting a "makeover" soon. Be sure to check in with the Snidget for all the details coming soon.

In the aftermath of the release date for DH being announced, speculation has run rampant on what the content of the book will consist of (or in any case, more rampantly than before!). HPSurvivor recommends you read Rachel's editorial regarding Deathly Hallows for her take on the seventh book!
