Okay, since I got the idea to describe the advantages and disadvantages and bla bla bla, and max approved it, I wrote this

For an introduction, there are 4 main stats of a char, Melee, Ranged, Agility, and Defense. In here, its best to specialize in some areas, depending on the role of your char. I will describe common builds and some special ones in detail

Full Melee
Usually this build is reserved for true berserkers that doesnt care about their own saftey, and just wants to end this quick. Even if they have low agi and def, they have one trump card they can put into use...the ability to parry. With the right equipment, they can parry every attacks thrown at them, more so if the equipment in question can parry ranged. Even more benefitful, is that this build isnt affected by weapons that cant be dodged, as long as they parry. However, they have a weakness, they are reliant on their equipment. In order to parry any attack, you need to make sure you have the right weapon for the job. What I'm saying is... you need a variety of melee weapons. You also need to take account of your AP, as using a heavy sword to parry leaves you vulnerable to small attacks. Whats worse is that you cant parry certain attacks that are unblockable, leaving you vulnerable to artillery fire.

Full Ranged
For those one shot, one killers that shoot from very far away. They also dont have any type of defense, only their guns. They are good only at range, and combined with artillery, they really manifest the concept of one shot one kill. And, if the enemy tries to shoot you, you can countershoot them due to your very high ranged. Although, this suffers from a weakness though. Due to your low melee, defense, and def, you dont have any kind of defense at close range, so its best advised that you have teammates to help you, otherwise, you're dead meat against a dodger that can get close to you before you know it, or multiple people.

Full Agility
This build is underestimated, yet it serves an important role in team battles. With this build, basically you're untouchable as you're agility is so high, you can dodge sniper rifles and such. With this kind of agility, their purpose is to harass enemies. Using what small ranged and melee they have, they should use a weapon with good damage for ap worth. They may not damage an enemy very well, but they can limit their movements, by making them waste ap on either dodging or defending agaisnt their attacks. However, with actions taking 2 EN per action, its only a matter of time before their energy is depleted, and they are dead meat, if that is...they choose to shoot relentlessly, otherwise, the opponent is the one that are most likely to deplete their energy first. Their other weakness is that they need fire support in order to even win a fight, as they cant fight back.

Full Defense
To put in into words, this is a moving fortress, serving a role as a tank and can also be a counterattacker. Basically, they use the concept of the best offense is a good defense. At first, they mainly serve as a tank by protecting their allies from harm by blocking the attacks aimed at them, making them a good bodyguard for artillery that otherwise cannot defend themselves. After a good amount of time, they can invest in a positron deflector or a geschmeidig panzer, both able to deflect attacks and even reflect them. This gives them the role of counterattacker, as they can use both of them to reflect attacks back at the enemy. There are weaknesses though... During early games, you cant really fight back agaisnt enemies, making one by one battles hard to win. During late games, where you have one of the equipments mention, even though they can defend against and reflect enemy attacks, they need energy that scales up with the attack power. One more thing that needs to be remembered that some attacks cannot be defended against, so investing in a positron deflector is much more worth of it, because they can even defend agaisnt positron cannons. However, when you dont have these equipments, then you' are left at the mercy of unblockable weapons.

Now on to the more reliable builds, focusing on only two stats. Below here is a combination of two stats available.

Melee and Ranged
This built are for people who want to deal damage no matter where they are. As a result, they are not focused on one type of weaponry, even though it is generally advised they focus on one type of weaponry. While this gives you the ability to attack no matter where your opponents are, its not very reliable. In order to make sure at least one of your attack hits, your effective range would be melee, as you can shoot while attacking with your melee weapon. This might not be a major issue though, however, the next one is a major issue. Due to your points being distributed between both, you have less chance to parry or countershoot, basically your only defense as most opponents focus on melee or ranged, and thus they can easily outmelee or outranged you. However, there are some advantages in this kind of build. This build is good for people who like to do suicidal attacks. The general tactic here is to get close to the opponent fast, and then quickly hit them with both ranged and melee. Generally, the concept here is the best defense is a good offense. Using this build, you musnt let up on the opponent, or he can attack you while you're defenseless

Melee and Agility
This build is popularly known as the blitzkrieg build, or ninja build. The best frame to go with this would be light frame. This build has the advantage of being good at melee range, either offensively or defensively. Due to your high melee, you would be likely not to miss with your sword/knife/etc. Also, when attacked, you can prevent harm from being done to you by simply dodging, helped by your high agility, or parry, if the enemy uses melee. Recommended weapons to go along with this build are melee weapons that are light and cost low ap and also light ranged weapons. General tactics include immediately going into melee range and then hack away, or if the enemy is strong, hit and run. However, like all builds, this build has weaknesses. Sometimes, the enemy might decide to seperate their attack actions, and since you can only dodge one action per dodge, this might prove to be troublesome. Also, there's also the fact you're very soft. If there was an opponent with higher range stat than your agility, basically you're doomed.

Melee and Defense
This build is more related to heavily armored Paladins or heavily armored knights with equally heavy swords. With this build, you can dish out a lot of damage at close range while at the same time, can either soak or defend against counterattacks either from ranged or melee range. The recommended frame for this is heavy frame, in order to get the efficiency bonus of using heavy melee weapons. It's not without its weaknesses though. As you're relying on defense, you are at the mercy of unblockable artillery weapons, unless you invested in geschmeidig panzer or positron deflector. Also, you can be toyed around with light units that can simply use hit and run tactics, combined with your low performance, this means you cant catch them that easily, unless you sacrifice much of your AP.

Ranged and Agility
This build is usually related to some gundam protagonists like Kira Yamato. Basically, you focus on shooting your opponents while at the same time, dodge counterattacks. This build is usually the most common in UC and AD Gundam Universe, as most units rely on their mid range weapon, and they really have to dodge, due to beam weapons being popular and they destroy any kind of defense a mobile suit would have, except beam shields. With this build, you can always be at a safe distance with the opponent, while shooting volleys of projectiles at the enemy. The advantage is that this build is basically the "bread" of any squad, or the main part of a squad, and possibly an army. This build is very reliable as at a distance, if the enemy decides to shoot, you can either countershoot or dodge the shot, giving you a good amount of safety. However, this build cannot fight back against builds that take all points into ranged, as they really cant dodge and more so, their ranged is most likely higher than yours. But still, overall, this is an reliable build, and a common one at that.

Ranged and Defense
This is the typical build for people who likes artillery. To put it basically, this build is more suited for heavily armored mechs with equally heavy and devastating guns. With this build, your safety is guaranteed, with heavy armor and the defenses that your mech would have. The general frame for this would be the heavy frame. The advantage to this build is that you can dish out large amounts of damage while at the same time, can either cope with both recoil and counterattacks. Yet, this build lacks something that all defense oriented and artillery builds have. You're left at the mercy of either dodgers, being surrounded, or unblockable attacks(unless you had the items i already said many times)

Agility and Defense
This build is purely for survivability. Due to majoring in both defensive stat, a person with this kind of build is very hard to kill, unless surrounded or outleveled. This person can either dodge or block an attack, depending on the situation, giving them the title of survival expert. Yet, this build severely lacks in attack power, and the only purpose it can have is prolonging a fight(until your opponent runs out of energy, or starts doing desperation attacks on you), or harrasing enemies with what little melee or ranged that they have. They really....really...lack in terms of firepower.
