STORYLINE

The year is 2251 AD. Fighting for the scarce Earth resources, three large factions had emerged to control whatever left on Earth. As a test failure had shattered humanity's hope of finding new resources in the outer space, they abandoned the project and continued fighting. After the time skip

Now that the time skip has taken effect, the time is 2252 AD, one year after the decisive battle in Japan. Both factions are gathering their members for a very important briefing which will affect the course of the storyline after this.

For AITO, all members are to travel to Liberty Tower and to participate in this Assembly RP.

For NEO, all members are to travel to Yokohama Base, Japan and to participate in this Assembly RP.

Blocking without a shield

Blocking without a shield will now only block 1 action at the cost of 10 AP, however you can still make use of it to negate the effect of critical attack or to utilize the effect of perfect defense as usual. This does not affect normal blocking with a shield which will block 3 actions as per normal.

I've created 2 joinable groups for each AITO and NEO, please join your respective faction and wait for your Faction Leader to approve it. To do this, just go to your profile and submit the request from there.

Desperation Attack

Please refer to Attacking section of Battle System:

Note: in the event that your machine has run out of attack options (meaning no more Ammo, EN, or even armaments) you will be able to perform a desperation attack, which includes punching, kicking or doing anything with your machine just to damage the opponent. However, when you perform this attack, your machine also takes the same amount of damage as your opponent if the attack managed to make contact. Please take note that you can spend a combination of Melee and Ranged attack power for this attack. Desperation attack is the same for every machine and it follows this template:

- Desperation Attack - 500 Dmg - 0 EN - AP : 10

Parry & Counter

Please refer to the note on the last line of parry and counter section in the battle system.

Basically, to make things more fair and easy, a weapon can be used to parry or counter another weapon of the same type regardless of the damage level.

This will allow two machineguns, although they have different damage level, to counter each other without having to take any damage from the difference.

But remember, this will only applies if the weapon is of the exact same type of the opponent's weapon. Meaning, submachinegun is different from machinegun, and sword is different from saber, etc.

Also remember that this also applies to CIWS and Machine Cannons countering Missiles as usual.

Decisive Battle In Japan

Please take note that The Decisive Battle In Japan between AITO and NEO will start as soon as everyone is ready. So it means please finish up whatever you are doing and get ready for battle :)

For those of you who haven't made any travel RP yet, just assume that you start out from being sent to Japan by your faction's leader.

Remember, that this is a Player versus Player battle, so studying your enemies beforehand might be useful.

Each faction will be divided into 3 groups consisting of 2-3 people. To determine which group is going against which, I will put up the route choices in each of your Faction HQ, so as to prevent cheating as you wouldn't know which enemy is taking which path.

The faction who managed to secure two out of these three routes will win the battle. So, Faction Leaders please do the necessary preparation with your members before posting the groups in the HQ.

I will start the event by posting various battle threads in the respective sections.
