Hey peoples. Because I'm doing some math courses, I've been home a lot. Aka, what I call my hermit life On the bright side, I've discovered the amazing thing that is BBC. If you're not familiar, it's amazing. Mostly because it's British.. [/anglophile] Other than that, it's a TV station in the UK that plays really awesome shows I've been getting hooked on and would like to share with y'all The Office - Yes, there is a US version which is also funny(and I am watching) Extras - By the creator, Ricky Gervais, of The Office Sherlock - AMAZING. WORDS. CANNOT. DESCRIBE. And like I mentioned above, I'm also watching the US version of The Office.. not AS good, but still entertaining to do math while watching. I am also tuning in to HBO on Sundays at 9pm to watch Game of Thrones. Sherlock is by far my favorite. Partly because I have an unhumanly love for Martin Freeman and partly because I really do like the Sherlock Holmes universe. SO FOLKS. What are you watching/favorite shows? Of the non-anime variety, since there is already an anime section. (Edit: I forgot to mention that as well as The Office and Sherlock, I've been stalking Martin Freeman in practically all his other works. The Good Night and Nativity! Are good movies he was in. Also A Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy. And many more.. I've pretty much been going down the list of his roles that are written on his Wikipedia page. I really have nothing better to do at home. )

It's a pity you think we know not what BBC is... My show? Castle. On ABC. So good. It's a crime drama about an author who follows around a police detective, using her as his muse. It's just the right mix of drama, humour, and crime, and it is very intelligently written. It stars Nathan Fillion, who watchers of Firefly would know.

I never finished Firefly, though I want to. And A LOT of people here (not on the site, but just people I know) don't know what BBC is. I don't blame them.. Not everyone is into that. |

I'm obsessed with Pawn Stars. Plus I watch Daily Show and Colbert Report when I can. Also watch Regular Show and Adventure Time. You've probably heard of the later, but the former is one of the greatest things on television! Check it out! I'm also trying to watch anime with convention season coming up (and to prepare for me stand up routines). Currently rewatching Trigun

Regular show is amazing. Fazio, it's a pity we don't live next door to each other. We'd totally be best friends. No question about it. |

Dude, I just got back into daytime shows. However most of the stuff I watch is on netflix so it's a bit outdated -The Office (the dirty american version) -Firefly -Dollhouse (because Joss Whedon is just that awesome) -Just started Dexter, haven't decided if I'm going to watch it through And that about covers the last year or so. Also Nathan Fillion ftw. Not a show persay but Dr Horrible's sing along blog is also a stroke of genius. It's written by Joss Whedon and stars Neil Patrick Harris, Felicia Day, and Nathan Fillion. I think you find the three episodes online. |
